Sydney ( /sɪdni/) is the most populous city in Australia and the state capital of New South Wales. Sydney is classified as an Alpha+ World City indicating its influence in the region and throughout the world.
Sydney is located on Australia's south-east coast of the Tasman Sea. As of June 2010, the greater metropolitan area had an approximate population of 4.6 million people. Inhabitants of Sydney are called Sydneysiders, comprising a cosmopolitan and international population.
The site of the first British colony in Australia, Sydney was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove by Arthur Phillip, commodore of the First Fleet as a penal colony. The city is built on hills surrounding Port Jackson which is commonly known as Sydney Harbour, where the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge feature prominently. The hinterland of the metropolitan area is surrounded by national parks, and the coastal regions feature many bays, rivers, inlets and beaches including the famous Bondi Beach and Manly Beach. Within the city are many notable parks, including Hyde Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Noel Fielding (born 21 May 1973) is a British surrealist, comedian, actor, artist, DJ and musician. He is known for his role as Vince Noir in The Mighty Boosh, which he co-wrote with comedy partner Julian Barratt, and as a team captain on the music panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks. His solo comedy sketch show Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy began broadcasting in January 2012 on the UK's E4.
Born in Westminster, London, Fielding performed regularly as a stand-up comedian during the late 1990s, and appeared repeatedly on the television stand-up showcase Lee Mack's Gas. His highly animated stand-up routine included surreal stories, physical comedy, characters, and songs, much like his later work in The Mighty Boosh.
In 2010, Fielding was to perform a solo tour across the country. It was cancelled, however, so he could concentrate on writing The Mighty Boosh film and album with Barratt. Fielding announced via Twitter that he was too busy to do the tour.
In 2010, Fielding took part in Channel 4's Comedy Gala, a benefit show held in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and filmed live at the O2 Arena in London on 30 March.
Melissa "Missy" Morrison Higgins (born 19 August 1983) is an Australian pop singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Her No. 1 albums in Australia are The Sound of White (2004) and On a Clear Night (2007), and her Top Ten singles are "Scar", "The Special Two", "Steer" and "Where I Stood". From a musical family in Melbourne, she played piano by age six and sang at twelve. While boarding at Geelong Grammar School, she wrote a song for an assignment which was then entered into the national Unearthed radio competition for unsigned artists. Higgins won and signed recording contracts with Eleven and Warner Bros. After taking time off, backpacking in Europe, she recorded her first album The Sound of White, which was released in 2004. The album, and its first single, "Scar" both went to No. 1 on the relevant Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Charts. Its second single, "The Special Two", went to No. 2. Higgins was nominated for five ARIA Music Awards that year and won 'Best Pop Release' for "Scar". In 2005 she was nominated for seven more awards and won five. She won her seventh ARIA in 2007.
Adam Barrington Spencer (born 27 January 1969, in Sydney) is an Australian radio presenter, comedian, and media personality. He first came to fame when he won his round of the comedic talent search Raw Comedy in the mid-1990s. Soon thereafter, he began working at Triple J, on mid-dawn and drive shifts before hosting the Triple J Breakfast Show with Wil Anderson.
He is a patron of various science-related events and programs, including the University of Sydney's Eureka Prize, a "lateral-thinking" science prize. He is also a member of the Sleek Geek Week tour along with Karl Kruszelnicki, as well as performing his own stand up comedy at events around the country.
Spencer grew up in the Hunters Hill/Gladesville area of Sydney.
Spencer was born without the muscle levator palpebrae superioris in his right upper eyelid, leading to permanent ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid) and noticeable facial asymmetry. He later received a transplant from a deceased motorcyclist in an operation performed by eye surgeon Fred Hollows, allowing him to "open" that eye. His vision is normal.[citation needed]
It's funny how the trades are
Everybody wants to be a king
We have the whole city full of bosses
But we all know there can only be one
One leader all the rest y'all follow
Follow me, cradle, trust me
I am the one
Call me the boss of all bosses
I got a flawless record of thirty wins, no draws and no losses
I talk reckless, what?
Move cautious with no respect for the rules, the dudes lawless
Gets deep with BS on the streets
'Cos from Harlem to Hollywood I got the game on the leash
You with my Bloodline beasts, always ready for whatever
We gon' hawk this dog together, six or beretta
Tour is glock, hecno and dutch
A few tools used just to get to the top
Can't stop, won't stop 'til I'm left in the box to count
We still bossy but pine is fine
I'm a Jack of all trades, what moves to be made
Be it back in the eighth for crackin' the safe
From the block to the cage, from the label to the stage
I'ma grind 'til I shine, cradle 2 the grave
It's on
You can't touch me
It's on
You can't stop me
It's on
You won't budge me
It's on
You can't block me
It's on
The hood loves me
It's on
You can't knock me
It's simply put I'm just ahead of my time
It's on
You can't touch me
It's on
You can't stop me

You won't budge me
It's on
You can't block me

You can't knock me
It must the hand that rocks the cradle is mine
Now, drug money is a thug's money
Ice money is set for life money, you know
Share money is the fair money, fa sho
You scared money, don't make money, nigga common
I'm back in the game, back on the grind
I'm back with my back to the wall, slightly back to two nines
Back with the mask on my face, back to packin' two nines
I'm back on the block, back to movin twenties and dimes
Bottomline, I'm back, the city is mines
Stop me how, I'm coming with the lot and the lines
Have grease stinking out where you live
Cats trailing your kids, it ended up with me abductin' your wares
Harry Rob once told me, "Strike fast and forceful
'Cos if you give him any time to think he'll cross you"
You either on my side or in my way
If in my way, okay
It's on
You can't touch me
It's on
You can't stop me
It's on
You won't budge me
It's on
You can't block me
It's on
The hood loves me
It's on
You can't knock me
It's simply put I'm just ahead of my time
It's on
You can't touch me
It's on
You can't stop me
It's on
You won't budge me
It's on
You can't block me
It's on
The hood loves me
It's on
You can't knock me
It must the hand that rocks the cradle is mine
[Incomprehensible] pack my arm, it's a dom
You let a nigga get at em'
Nigga for not one of the most hunted like Bin Laden
'Cos I don't talk, I spit, don't walk, I strike
And I'ma stand up nigga, stand sit for what
To discuss with the tough that enough is enough
And it's on 'cos I'm callin' your bluff
And your dudes in the streets that refuse to be beef
Better move when I reach and get moved with the heat
Please, don't make the nigga have to do it to you
I launch missiles that ravage ya soft tissue
I salvage with many issues, my marriage is to my pistols
Automatic or revolver but trust me I'm gon' get you
If I have to prove to you cowards
I never follow you cowards, I murder all of you cowards
Your streets are my streets that's how it's designed
'Cos the hand that rocks the cradle is mine
You know. yeah
It's on
You can't touch me
It's on
You can't stop me
It's on
You won't budge me
It's on
You can't block me
It's on
The hood loves me
It's on
You can't knock me
It's simply put I'm just ahead of my time

Sometimes I will take my brother by the arm
Other times I will take my brother by the shoulder
Then there are times I will take my brother by the neck
Any way I touch you, walk with me.
Uhh. uhh. uhh. GRRRRR
This ain't the way it's supposed to be (B.S.!)
This ain't the way it's supposed to be (off that bloodline thang)
This ain't the way it's supposed to be!
This ain't the way, shit is supposed to be!
(Big Stan)
Now I done seen the streets turned into a beast with sharp teeth
Put claws in the strong and just devour the weak
Make them proud niggaz humble (uh-huh)
Then turn around and make them loud niggaz mumble (uh-huh)
In the jungle I done seen niggaz voted "Most likely to win"
lose it all at the end of a stem; what a lame (uhh)
Friends killin friends for paper, what a shame (uhh)
And everybody thinkin they players, what a game (damn)
I done seen this whole shit change
Looked again and realized that ain't shit changed (WHAT?!)
Except the fact that I'm a grown man now (uhh) standin on my own two
Used to hate guns, now a nigga own two (C'MON!)
Twin glocks for cops and use I promise to
I ain't goin out like Amadou, you know what I'ma do (AIGHT?)
So sit back and try to visualize if you can
All the stories of a wise man - walk with me
(Chorus: DMX)
Look at my life. look at how I live
Look at what I go through. so what I've got to give (THIS IS IT!)
Look at my li-ife. look at how I live
Look at what I go through. so what I've got to give (THIS IS IT!)
(Big Stan)
(My nigga!)
Now I've done seen life play jokes with death as a punchline
In a world with no hope, struggle to get mine
I was raised in a time of regret and bad news (uh-huh)
So I was taught my values by bad dudes (uhh)
Hustlers and killers. they taught me wrong from right
Told me everything that's wrong is right, like
Hoppin a train, poppin the thang
And havin hot blocks poppin with 'caine, lockin the game (C'MON!)
And the more shit, change, the more it's the same
And the more you try to get rid of it, the more it remains
You remember when the kid's dream to get to the top
was bein doctors, firemen, even the cops?
Look at the kids now, lost, no hope
To get ahead they plan to rap, play ball, or sell dope (ooooh)
And if you thinkin we the problem you wrong
A generation died at the same time our fathers was born
(Chorus)
(Big Stan)
I've seen a broken home influence a good kid to go bad
Cause boys with sane minds to go mad (uhh)
And young girls to lose they innocence so fast
And so often the results are so sad
Losin her skirt, don't even know what flirt means
So a baby's poppin up with a baby at thirteen (damn)
A few years, she tried to settle down with her man
Tried to stop fuckin all them other niggaz and can't
Though she want to, the curse got her doin this dirt
Cause she saw mommy do it whenever daddy went to work (damn)
And it hurts, I know the pain call it the truth
Bad parents are destroyin the youth, I been there (WHAT?!)
I've watched men beat on my mother my whole life
So when I hit my baby mother I thought it was alright (NO!)
Maybe if I woke up and them niggaz was gone
I woulda knew that all the hittin was wrong, talk to me
(Chorus) - 2X
(DMX)
My niggaz
This, is, for my niggaz
This, is, for my niggaz
This, is, for my niggaz
This right here?! Is for my niggaz
B.S. baby! Uh-huh, uhh
Bloodline, bloodline, bloodline!
All my dogs, off the motherfuckin chain!
Arf, arf, arf, arf, arf-arf, ya heard?
Bitch ass nigga (bitch ass nigga!)
