Subtitle Kino (Färgfabriken)

Textual cinema. Authorial script. The word.

Cinema-based solo audiovisual performance that extracts the subtitle track from three King Kong films (1933, 1976, 2005) and recombines them within one frame. A live sound mix is performed to create a compressed version of the one narrative over multiple epochs.

A feature-length re-encoding of the scripts based on chance and narrative conventions.
