Oscar has just arrived in Montreal with his son Jose en route to a small city in Quebec to introduce the boy to his mother. They miss their bus and are stranded for the night in this unfamiliar city. Later, when Jose is fast asleep, restless Oscar decides to get some air. This is where he meets Diane, looking for her lost dog. They walk side by side through the night streets of Montreal. But are they really looking for a dog? Where will the twists and turns of their stroll lead them? Does Diane's husband Vincent, set out on a search for his wife, have reasons to worry? After wandering all night like tortured souls, and meeting a bunch of special characters, among whom the homeless Barack Obama himself, these three scoundrels find themselves together at the bus station in the wee hours of the morning along with dumbfounded Jose. With the help of the cold light of the rising day, all accounts can finally be settled. This film is an ode to Montreal told as an urban symphony, creating characters of the night and the city unto themselves. Oscar and Diane, both played by three actors of different ethnic backgrounds, take turns pulling us into this breathtaking tale that reveals the colorful charm of the melting-pot city of Montreal to anyone willing to look.

As she spends the night avoiding her ex, and the other undesirable guys in attendance, she interacts with a colorful assortment of party peeps. Between disappearing fortune tellers and over crowded jacuzzis, she questions if real love is even possible. The irony; the only person she's the least bit attracted to, is the homeless man!

"I am sympathetic to the concerns they faced," said Obama who noted the company faced "significant damage" from the hack. "Having said all that, I think they made a mistake." This was the first time Obama publicly weighed in on the Sony hack, which the FBI linked to North Korea on Friday morning. The hackers released statements saying the objected to the portrayal of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the movie. "I wish they had spoken to me first," Obama said of Sony. "I would have told them do not get into a pattern where your intimidated by these kinds of criminal attacks." He discouraged other company's facing similar threats from caving to that pressure. "Let's not get into that way of doing business," said Obama. Obama was also asked if he would watch the film. "I've got a long list of movies I'm going to be watching," Obama said. "I never release my full movie list." Obama, who noted he "liked" the stars of "The Interview," James Franco and Seth Rogen, said the fact North Korea was concerned about a "satirical" film is telling about the state of Kim Jong Un's regime. The president said America would "respond" to the hack, which he confirmed was linked to North Korea. He said the US would respond "proportionately," but noted he would not "announce" what this response would be "at a press conference." Obama predicted tax reform will occur in the new Congress. He described it as "one area where we can get things done." Obama also reiterated his opposition to corporate tax loopholes and inversions. "We think it's important that everybody pays something if they are, in fact, effectively headquartered in the United States," said Obama. He indicated Republicans "share" some of these positions. However, he declared, "The devil's in the details." "I'll be interested in seeing what they want to move forward," Obama said. Obama is also expected to discuss the new spending bill and his Cuba policy shift. Before taking questions from reporters, Obama made remarks where he characterized the year as a "breakthrough" one for the country. "In last year's final press conference, I said that 2014 will be a year of action and a breakthrough year for America," said Obama. "It has been." Obama went on to describe signs the economy improved over the past year. He then noted the country's leadership in the effort to fight the jihadist group Islamic State (also known as ISIS), America's opposition to Russian aggression in Ukraine, and work the country has done to fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. Obama also discussed the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the fact more members of the military would be home this holiday season than in recent years. The president said America has "outperformed" other countries in recovering from the economic crisis of 2008. He also said he hoped to be able to work with the Republican Congress next year. "In terms of my own job, I'm energized. I'm excited about the prospects for the coming years," said Obama, adding, "We are better positioned than we have been in a long time." He said the country is setting the stage for an "American moment." On Friday evening, Obama and his family are traveling to Hawaii for their annual holiday vacation. They are planing to remain their until after the new year.

Both Obama and Clinton batted away questions about future campaigns, but the joint interview -- the president's first with anyone other than first lady Michelle Obama -- was only likely to increase the fascination with Clinton's future. "The president and I care deeply about what's going to happen for our country in the future," Clinton said. "And I don't think, you know, either he or I can make predictions about what's going to happen tomorrow or the next year."

Despite President Barack Obama's call to end rape during the Grammy awards Sunday night, Fox News guest Star Parker believes the president is guilty of committing "verbal rape" during his National Prayer Breakfast speech last week. Participating in a panel discussion on "Hannity" Monday night, Parker took issue with the president asking Americans to remember that violence in the name of religion is not a phenomenon exclusive to Islam. Obama pointed to the Inquisition and the Crusades as instances in which murder was carried out in the name of Christ. "Let me put it in context then, because I was in that room, and it was frankly verbal rape," Parker said. “We were not expecting it, nobody wanted it, it was horrible to sit through, and after it was over we all felt like crap.” Though host Sean Hannity and Fox News senior correspondent Geraldo Rivera seemed to push back a little bit, deeming the terminology "harsh," Star was ultimately allowed to continue, suggesting that Obama's remarks would fuel further conflict in the Middle East. "We were talking about being in that room for unity," she said. "And what he did was say, 'Don't ever forget the past, guys. Keep doing what you're doing in the Middle East.'" On Saturday, Fox News host Eric Bolling also slammed Obama for his speech, calling the comments "egregious," and claiming that no other group besides Muslims kill in the name of religion.

The American people and the world are finally getting it. What seem like Obama's delusional mindset and dangerous unilateral insanity are easily explained by Obama's loyalties. Obama does not have a strategy to "degrade and ultimately destroy" the radical Islamic terrorists because he does not want to degrade and destroy the radical Islamic terrorists. What Obama means by that oft-repeated, equivocal phrase, "degrade and ultimately destroy”– (pay special attention to the word “ultimately”) – is only containment. Worse, not containment of our radical Islamic terrorists enemies – containment, rather, of Obama’s American critics. Obama's strategy is one of head fakes and false promises as he strengthens Radical Islam's position and weakens America's. If we are to save our country from this false leader, we must call Obama's strategy what it is: Treason. “Their strategy by now should be clear to all thinking Americans. It is embedded in the Barack Obama-Valerie Jarrett strategy to “transform America.” It is an anti-American and anti-Western, but a pro-Islam, pro-Iran and pro-Muslim Brotherhood strategy….The latest move by the Obama administration — hosting a group of leaders aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood at the State Department, whose objective is to obtain support for the overthrow of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi — was unconscionable. …. OBAMA vs NETANYAHU | Israel President Being Snubbed By White House I keep wondering if it's ever possible for Benjamin Netanyahu to go too far. He's treated President Obama with truly astonishing levels of contempt and disdain for nearly his entire tenure, and he's done it in the apparent belief that his political support in the US is so strong and so bipartisan that he'll never be held to account for it. And so far he hasn't been. But what about his latest stunt? The fact that John Boehner invited him to address Congress is hardly surprising. Boehner needed to poke Obama in the eye to demonstrate his conservative bona fides, and this was a perfect opportunity since he knew Netanyahu would deliver plenty of trash talk about Obama's Iran policy. But the fact that Netanyahu kept the invitation a secret from the administration and failed to even notify them he was planning a visit—well, that's a whole different story. As former US ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk put it, "Netanyahu is using the Republican Congress for a photo-op for his election campaign....Unfortunately, the US relationship will take the hit. It would be far wiser for us to stay out of their politics and for them to stay out of ours." White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough says the United States shouldn't wade into Israeli politics -- even if the country's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, plans to weigh in on American policies. His comments come days after House Speaker John Boehner announced that Netanyahu will address Congress in March, two weeks ahead of an Israeli election -- a move that caught President Barack Obama's administration by surprise. READ: Netanyahu snub takes relations with White House to a new low Netanyahu is expected to lobby Congress to approve tough new sanctions on Iran. Obama has opposed those sanctions, saying he needs more time to hash out a deal to end Iran's nuclear program and that new sanctions would put those talks at risk. It would not surprise me if, at the next Republican National Convention, Benjamin Netanyahu took a seat in the delegates-from-abroad section. The Israeli leader has both allied and associated himself with congressional Republicans who differ with President Obama over whether to impose additional sanctions on Iran and who also — let’s not beat around the bush — hate his guts. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Wednesday continued to walk back his comments that parents should be allowed to choose whether to vaccinate their children, saying he holds the same position as President Barack Obama on the matter. "I got annoyed that people were trying to depict me as someone who doesn't think vaccines were a good idea," Paul told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren on Wednesday, noting that he had been vaccinated before a recent trip to Guatemala and had vaccinated his children. "I'm not sure I'm different from the president or anyone else on the position," Paul said. "We have rules to encourage people to have vaccines in the country, but I don't think anybody's recommending that we hold them down." Pressed by Van Susteren on whether vaccinations should be required when an illness could spread to other children, Paul said certain school vaccine requirements were already "somewhat of a mandate," but really more of an encouragement. "Interestingly, 48 out of 50 states do have a religious as well as philosophic exemption if you have a problem," Paul said. Paul has faced heavy criticism since Monday, when he said vaccinations for children should be voluntary, and suggested a relationship between vaccinations and mental disorders. "I've heard of many tragic cases of walking, talking, normal children, who wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines," Paul said. "I'm not arguing that vaccines are a bad idea, I think they're a good thing. But I think parents should have some input." Paul softened those comments on Tuesday, saying he believes children should be vaccinated. He said he didn't mean to suggest that vaccinations cause mental disabilities. During an interview with NBC's Savannah Guthrie on Wednesday, President Barack Obama said parents should get their kids vaccinated. "The science is, you know, pretty indisputable," Obama said. "We’ve looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren’t reasons to not." The White House has stopped short of saying that there should be a law requiring parents to get their children vaccinated. "The president believes it shouldn’t require a law for people to exercise common sense and do the right thing," White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Tuesday. "And again, this is the right thing for them to do both by their own children, but by also other children in the community. They have a responsibility to do this.
