A plastic material is any of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organic solids that are moldable. Plastics are typically organic polymers of high molecular mass, but they often contain other substances. They are usually synthetic, most commonly derived from petrochemicals, but many are partially natural.
Most organic polymers are plastics. The vast majority of these polymers are based on chains of carbon atoms alone or with oxygen, sulfur, or nitrogen as well. The backbone is that part of the chain on the main "path" linking a large number of repeat units together. To customize the properties of a plastic, different molecular groups "hang" from the backbone (usually they are "hung" as part of the monomers before linking monomers together to form the polymer chain). The structure of these "side chains" influence the properties of the polymer. This fine tuning of the properties of the polymer by repeating unit's molecular structure has allowed plastics to become an indispensable part of the twenty-first century world.
Thomas Kretschmann (German pronunciation: [ˈtoːmas ˈkrəʧman]; born 8 September 1962) is a German actor best known for playing Leutnant Hans von Witzland in the 1993 film Stalingrad, Hauptmann Wilm Hosenfeld in The Pianist, Hermann Fegelein in Der Untergang, Captain Englehorn in the 2005 remake of King Kong, and voicing Professor Z in Cars 2.
Kretschmann was born in Dessau, former German Democratic Republic. Before he became an actor, Kretschmann trained to become an Olympic swimmer. At the age of 19, he left East Germany and began a month-long trek to West Germany to escape the East German state. During this trek he lost part of a finger, but it was surgically reattached. Kretschmann crossed four borders with nothing other than his passport and the equivalent of $100 in his possession.
At the age of 25, he began acting, starring in numerous European films and television series. In 1991, Kretschmann was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize for best young actor for his role in Der Mitwisser. He went on to star in his first full length feature, the 1993 film Stalingrad. He achieved international recognition for his role as a rapist/murderer in Dario Argento's The Stendhal Syndrome.
William Jack Poulter (born 28 January 1993, in Hammersmith, London, England) is an English actor, most notable for his roles as Lee Carter in Son of Rambow, and as Eustace Scrubb in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Poulter was educated at Harrodian School. He played various acting roles before landing the role of Lee Carter in the 2008 movie Son of Rambow. He also performed with other young comedic actors in School of Comedy, which aired its pilot on Channel 4's Comedy Lab on 21 August 2008. School of Comedy was then commissioned for a full series by Channel 4, which began airing on 2 October 2009. He then did the second series of the programme and appears as a whole new collection of characters.
In 2009 he was selected to play the role of Eustace Scrubb in the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (filmed in Queensland, Australia), and was accompanied by some members of his family. The movie was released on 10 December 2010.
In 2010 he appeared in the BBC Three pilot The Fades, a 60 minute supernatural thriller written by Skins writer, Jack Thorne. The pilot has been commissioned to be written as six-part series with almost entirely a new cast.

Plot
Barry Egan runs his own company, is continually hounded by his seven sisters, and every now and then gets a tiny bit violent. One odd morning a harmonium first appears in the street then a striking young lady asks for his help with her car. She re-appears a few days later and there seems to be a spark between them, but can they possibly cut through his seemingly over-complicated life and his somewhat unusual interpersonal skills?

Barry: Ummm, let's just... keep it between you and I, if that's possible.::Lena: Sure, Sure...
Barry: I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine.
Barry: At that restaurant, I beat up the bathroom. I'm sorry.
Lena: Oh... I'm sorry... was that like a secret pudding?
Barry: Pudding...
Barry: I have to get more pudding for this trip to Hawaii. As I just said that out loud I realize it sounded a little strange but it's not.
[Barry looks around... ]::Barry: Healthy Choice and American Airlines got together and put this promotion: If you buy any 10 Healthy Choice products, they will reward you with 500 frequent flier miles; with this special coupon, they'll up it to 1,000 miles. So, I think they are trying to push their teriyaki chicken which is $1.79, but I went to the supermarket and I looked around and I saw that they had pudding... for 25¢ a cup... comes in packages of four. But insanely... the barcodes... are on the individual cups! So, quarter a cup, say you bought $2.50 worth. That's worth 500... with the coupon it's 1,000 miles. It's a marketing mistake but I'm taking advantage of it. If you were to spend $3,000, that would get you a million frequent flier miles. You would never have to pay for a ticket the rest of your life.::Lena: You... you bought all that pudding so that you could get frequent flier miles?
Barry: I didn't do anything. I'm a nice man. I mind my own business. So you tell me 'that's that' before I beat the hell from you. I have so much strength in me you have no idea. I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine. I would say 'that's that', Mattress Man.
Barry: I know... yes...::Lena: That's insane.
Barry: I'm guessing it was a mistake... but... I'm taking advantage of it while it's offered. Who knows how long it'll last... [once] too many people start doing it...
She's pretentious, a hip agnostic
You best friend if you can get good weed
She's a writer, kinda plastic
Convoluted, yet so pristine
Chorus:
She reads Nietzsche in the middle of a donut shop
Wannabe Bohemian who works in a coffee shop
She's god's gift to all the emo boys
That ain't me, Oi! Oi! Oi!
She likes indie bands and bad poetry
She'll like anything that gives her credibility
She's a feminist
An existentialist
A hipster fascist, and that's why she isn't into me
(Chorus)
She's at the Beehive Smokin' Pall Mall cigarettes
Ramen noodles is the new hip meal
Went to a record store for Captain Beefheart
But then she settled for Captain and Tinnille
When I look into the eyes of the tough punk guys
With their stupid bondage belts
And the girls accessorize
With lots of little spikes and neat hair dyes
It's a whole subculture easy to commercialize
"The Revolution" wont come
Cause everybody's dumb
Drunk, fucked up on drugs-look at what it's come to:,
Tiny microcosm of a big stupid world
Short sighted, opinionated, gullible boys and girls!
This music's only rock-n-roll
Wont change the world or save your soul
Uniform Identity?
This trademark rebellion's not for me
Will there ever be a time when time doesn't matter
When a lack of money means your dreams aren't shattered
When chemicals don't take the edge off of life
And confidence keeps you whole inside
Can we ever look forward to not being bored
To not being scared to open closed doors
To love without holding anything back
To trust and share and stay intact?
Give me love don't give me hate
I'll stay aware and not sedate
Addicted to my sleepyhead
When it's time to wake up
I'll stay in bed
You can sell your soul for rock and roll
Turn off your brain
wait to grow old
Get a good job
How much plastic can you buy?
I dunno but here we go
Freedom is the easiest thing to lose
How many options can you choose?
From the choices they've already made for you?
Addicted to a sleepyhead
Some of us will sleep until we're dead
Trade in one uniform to wear another
That smothers you but never keeps you covered
Freedom is the easiest thing to lose
How many options can you choose?
From the choices they've already made for you?
You got a plastic name and a plastic heart
You can play the game or you'll never start
I'm talkin' to you
You got a plastic house and a plastic fence
Gotta look around or you'll lose your friends
Am I gettin' through?
You got a plastic girl in a plastic bed
And she's in your house made of gingerbread
And you're in there too
Got a plastic smile on a plastic face
But it's underneath that you can't erase
But what can you do-do-do?
[CHORUS:]
Say Love-it's not that hard after all
(tell me what I want, what I wanna hear)
When everybody does
Say Love-it's gonna tear down the walls
(tell me what I want, what I wanna hear)
if everybody loves
You live in a plastic dream through a plastic card
But reality you don't disregard
You know that it's true
You got a plastic goal in a plastic life
Gotta search your soul gotta make it right
And here's what you do-do-do
[CHORUS]
Wake up in the morin'
Some are not sleepin' tight
A matter you've been ignorin'
Why can't you just say it?
Will not wait forever
Can't you see I'm right
I want you to endeavor
To tell me again and again!
[CHORUS]
Feels like summer
Gosh my skin's so itchy
Not a feature on my face
Just a piece of yellow plastic
I never thought I'd sink so low
So slow
Morning's always weak
God it's hopeless when I'm talking
I'm lonely in the field
Just a baby treading water
It's red and dark
And God is my friend....
The end, the end
Stumble on the dress
She's screaming that she loves me
It's not the way to give
It's the cruelest way to lie
Feeling, living, breathing
you only seem to live for you
pretending to be caring
making me believe in you
cruel & unforgiving
made me out to be your fool
never sacrificing
staying only while it's good
enticing and beguiling
using all you flattery
making me believe
you are what you can never be
chorus:
look in the mirror
tell me what do you see
it's so much clearer
facing reality
longing, wanting, wishing
for a life you don't deserve
something always missing
wanting love you haven't earned
seeing is believing
all i see before my eyes
is a fake pretending
just another plastic lie
chorus
sad you can't see
that your dreams
they can never come to be
how could i
be so blind
not to see the truth
behind your eyes
behind your plastic lie
chorus
your life is like
Sure you can lie, except to yourself
Make others think you're someone else
Pretending you're someone by faking your feelings
To get accepted and have some meaning
Friends swallow your bullshit like it's food
Opening themselves to who they think is you
What's the reason for using a shield
Not letting out how you feel
Afraid to let out what's inside
Rather be someone who isn't alive
Is the real reason why you fake
Because yourself is your biggest hate?
Just be yourself
Not someone plastic
Before it's too late
You got a plastic name and a plastic heart
You can play the game or you'll never start
I'm talkin' to you
You got a plastic house and a plastic fence
Gotta look around or you'll lose your friends
Am I gettin' through?
You got a plastic girl in a plastic bed
And she's in your house made of gingerbread
And you're in there too
Got a plastic smile on a plastic face
But it's underneath that you can't erase
But what can you do-do-do?
Say Love-it's not that hard after all
(tell me what I want, what I wanna hear)
When everybody does
Say Love-it's gonna tear down the walls
(tell me what I want, what I wanna hear)
if everybody loves
You live in a plastic dream through a plastic card
But reality you don't disregard
You know that it's true
You got a plastic goal in a plastic life
Gotta search your soul gotta make it right
And here's what you do-do-do
Wake up in the morin'
Some are not sleepin' tight
A matter you've been ignorin'
Why can't you just say it?
Will not wait forever
Can't you see I'm right
I want you to endeavor
Who are you to judge like you're a some kind of saint
I tell it like it is, you tell it like it ain't
I go by what I know, you go by what you hear
Preach your hypocrisy to someone else's ear
You make me laugh how you perform for your peers
I'm not amused, your acting bores me to tears
You sit on your throne, your flock, merely clones
Deemed king for a day, a self proclaimed savior
Upon your pedestal high
You symbolize all I despise, you and your kind
You represent all I resent, your state of mind
You symbolize all I despise, you perpetrate
You represent all I resent, you are a fake
Contradictions, insert foot in mouth, the truth is out
You truly believe that no one perceives you to be
A deceiver you are
Open your eyes, you haven't got a clue
Behind your back, your peers are mocking you
Look around you, who can you trust - no one
Cover is blown
Judas and Brutus are waiting in line...
Empty glasses made of plastic,
So unlikely and fantastic,
I might cruise in coffee houses,
I'm returning naked glances
But if the mediocre (vision...) you boring,
You start a conversation on American short stories
Don't even, don't even tell me,
(Don't tell me, don't tell me),
Don't tell me that it's nothing,
Don't tell me that you need it,
Don't even, don't even tell me,
(Don't tell me, don't tell me),
Do you want the complication,
Not open to interpretation
Whose figures are you flexing?
So drunk and interesting,
You should be [... ?] at your studies,
She leave me bruised and bloody
You're trying to say I think I love,
I (smell?) the rest of the day
I'm trying to find the words but there's nothing left to say
Don't even, don't even tell me,
(Don't tell me, don't tell me),
Don't tell me that it's something,
Don't tell me that you need it,
Don't even, don't even tell me,
(Don't tell me, don't tell me),
Do you want the complication,
Not open to interpretation
Nervous and callous crust,
Smooth and [... ?],
I'm happy with the knowledge I won't see you again
This is not my style,
(Don't even tell me, don't even tell me),
I guess I feel (insane... ?) for a while,
This is not my style,
(Don't even tell me, don't even tell me),
Come count your trophies and stack em high,
It's funny how reality can pass you by
Little girl wanna be as pretty as she can and she lives by whatever it takes
The lights in her room are all dark-
And living doesn't hurt if you haven't got a heart so why not,
Why not taste the pain?
You've got nothing to lose and nobody to blame
A hard shell for shame
So come display your skillz,
'cause fuck lonely nights with empty bottles and pills
At 50/50 fills per shot cum take her for a spin
And I hope you like your sin with skin
'cause you can count me- out
It's all for plastic- walking in your sleep
It's all for plastic and it's only skin deep
It's all for plastic- here's to your health
It's all plastic so you can go fuck yourself
Gasoline and broken glass
Shaking in your coffin as the hearses pass
Are you afraid that nobody can hear your screams?
'cause we're out here,
We just don't care
Pretty my pink, I can smell your stink- makes me sick
And I don't give a damn what you think anymore
Back down against the floor
All for vanity, profanity and hells galore
Liquid candy whore- suck it up, hold your breath
Is it a taste of life or maybe just your death?
Or better yet another chance for me to see right through
a damage past is haunting me
creeps in won't let me breathe
i can't quite grasp psychotic thoughts (and me) the troubles lie beneath
we won't back down its far too late
paying the price of endeless pain our love, our hate
which on will you embrace
now i can't pretend
to live this life of plastic happiness
this plastic happiness
because one chance is all we get to kill the questions in our minds
just one more chance to turn around this life
break through the structure that we see
reach true surrondings that we seek
and force the path we know is right
this won't conquer quietly
we won't back down its far too late
paying the price of endeless pain our love, our hate
which on will you embrace
i'm so sad to say i've watched this tragedy take everything away from me
i write words for my own survival
if you don't hear them then they mean nothing at all
i won't live like this
obsolete
i cant complete
thrown away
an 8-track tape
time
no friend of mine
faded works of art
stopped my
friend's heart
chorus
i want to last forever like plastic
in the landfill of your memory
will u remember me?
Stay
another
day
let's just talk
ignore the clock
go
like melting snow
dont ask why
hello goodbye
chorus
when my warranty expires
when ive been
replaced
when all is said and done
will there be a trace?
will you remember me? x3
Your just all mouth
Never telling the truth
Your always looking so fake
A plastic punk - no mistake
Plastic - part-time poser
Plastic - part-time loser
Saying you've seen it all
Your first gig you can't recall
You were there so you say
Your fake as fuck so go away
Plastic - part-time poser
Plastic - part-time loser
Plastic - part-time poser
Plastic - part-time loser
You walk the walk
And you talk the talk
And in your eyes your a punk
Truth is your just a cunt
Plastic - part-time poser
Plastic - part-time loser
Plastic - part-time poser
Commercialism, violence and cocaine
In a prayer to vanquish your God
I'll be the voice that answers
Screaming bullshit from the top of my lungs
I won't be your Barbie doll
Your fascist heroin
We're the mass homicide
The anti-cool kids
Do you want to be hateful?
Then put your faith in the government
Do you want to faithful?
Praying God just to let you in
Deformation of the body imposes
False addictions so you're not a slob
I'll be the voice of reason
Screaming bullshit from the top of my lungs
I won't be your plastic doll
Your fucking heroin
We're the mass homicide
The anti-cool kids
Do you want to be hateful?
Then put your faith in the government
Do you want to be faithful?
Paying God just to let you in
Do you want to be faithful?
Do you want to be hateful?
(x2)
Paying God just to let you in
I won't be your Barbie doll
Your fascist heroin
We're the mass homicide
The anti-cool kids
I won't be your plastic doll
Your fucking heroin
We're the mass homicide
The anti-cool kids
Do you want to be hateful?
Then put your faith in the government
Do you want to be faithful?
I can see that look you get in your eyes
When anything's enough just to get you going
You're so tired of the same old places
And the same old faces
Is that really where you want to be?
But you got something that you can rely on
'Cause everybody else is up your ass or
A shoulder for you to cry on
But I know, you can get far away
And do whatever you want to
But you never get ready
'Cause there's no time today
Yeah yeah yeah
When you get that look you get in your eyes
You feel a little sick 'cause you're not together
But you just smile and think about
How you'll be round here forever
Nobody wants another point of view
And that's so much here that you can rely on
'Cause everybody else is there for you with
A barbeque for you to fry on
But I know, you can get far away
And do whatever you want to
But you won't get ready
'Cause there's no time today
Yeah yeah yeah
But I know, you can get far away
And do whatever you want to
But you never get ready
'Cause there's no time today
Yeah yeah yeah
I can see you're ready to go
His plastic prophecy has come true
This is what I have decayed into
Sooner or later I will be machine
Emptiness no rigor mortis could wean
No pain
No sorrow
No love
No greater tomorrow
Do you remember being human?
Do you remember what it means to forgive?
Do you remember showing empathy?
Nothing to ease the years
When your pulse is the grinding of gears
Do you remember being human?
Do you remember what it means to forgive?
Do you remember showing empathy?
This plastic prophecy continues
This reality is now true
Its now later
Time is gone
I have become machine
Emptiness
This I have deemed
I have become machine
Emptiness this I have deemed
Prince sing another song, its written on your face,
Instead I put pressure on the whole damn place,
I never liked running through the crowd with no proof,
So now I gotta flex in the steps of the truth,
Forever hearing Prince has to stick to his kind,
Prince make a love song about a tech 9,
I thought Prince Be had to be Prince Be
Yet they wanna riff when they find I disagree
With that dog eat dog, I'm a get mine
Even if I'm stepin on your frame of mind
You can ring things where the ringin' things at.
But Prince Be thinks its widdack
So now I'm accused of spikin' the punch
And I'll be the scapegoat for fakin' the funk
But when they set up another prince time beef
What's hard at first, but melts in the heat, they call that Plastic
( chorus )
What, Plastic ya'll , plastic, what plastic ya'll
( repeat )
shake it up over here
Lord, what they wanna serve me now
a cup of dried rainbows and a dark cloud
You wanna picture me as you well, no way.
See I'm into innovations OK
Don't you know they itchy itchy me
When they itchy itchy you
Passin off the mic through the kissy kissy crew
What else can display through a mind that's foul.
Can the politics show you how, come on now...
I refused to be used as an under cover clone
Or even bad to the bone
Nocturna caps an "Uh oh" persona
That calculate traits that do what you wanna what...
Tic toc me for the crazy fliz
Do you really want to know what a sellout is
Did you ever see a feather that could break a nut
They melt every time you heat'em up
Because they're
( chorus )
I don't know hip hop, what's this?
What's this? See what I'm sayin...
Save the snakes because you can't find me.
You treat me right I'll be good to you
Whatever's clever for the scapegoat's toys
The most superficial, sacrificial, interincarnational costume ever
And that's called plastic...And that's foul
I'll be the sellout, and that's foul
I kick my heart above your door way
hanging christ like bleeding
cold the well within my soul cuz
the rosy air im breathing
shame ..yea
I wait to say who's but ever linger
poop is what your head does
everlong around my finger
who said me so scared
and hold
Plastic seems to seal my eyes shut
God she must be crazy
wait in shame I wait so long
but I'm too goddamn lazy
"I'll get mine" she said over and over
who's that in your hole and
one and all its been a long time
you cant keep me inside
Kick the door
if you ever linger
wade in lies around my finger
no more scarecrows scared
I hold
Boxed up in plastic and falling apart on the inside
Apathy, am I feeling fake today?
Today I don't know where the time flew by
I wonder why
I don't know what you see
Of course I care
I won't pretend
It's just a thought
I've said enough
Don't you know life turns me
Always wants me
I can hardly pray
I could try
But don't know what you hear
'Cause in my heart
You were so clear
It's just a thought
I've said enough
Don't you know life turns me
Always wants me
I can hardly pray
On your stage
A show that you create
All by yourself
I am nowhere
You never noticed
You were so sure
Don't you know life turns me
Always wants me
tell me what you're gonna do
I know that you know that I'm on
to you
I see your game and I see
the way
with my self esteem you love
to play
when I'm feeling fine things
go alright
you're sure to be right by
my side
but when I'm down I look around
you're nowhere to be found
here they come again
will this ever end
around till I need them
my plastic friends
they melt when heat begins
they're walking mannequins
my plastic friends
I wonder if you'll ever see
exactly what you've done to me
I feel alone I've been attacked
and you put the knife into
my back
what I need is honesty
open exchange from you to me
I've come to you my
pride aside
so we can make this right
three times denied I've
relied too long on visions
capsules of elastic
mental prisons
relating to the masses
for thirty pieces
candy coated personality thin
like reece's
synthetic figments artificial
pigments
[pathetic] ingesting poisons
of facades
illusions on a mountain high
like Colorado
bravado London bridges they
be falling
value of fools gold with
kisses manifested
break, smash, shatter
counterfeit flatter
imitation of a friend 'cause
the heat makes you scatter
blending, comprehending but
still deceiving
aimless inventions creations
spiritual manipulations
I'm running out of patience
fascinated in your attempts
at being plastic
spastic, kind of drastic my
They're the beautiful, and oh so pitiful,
With everything, but none of it is real
They're on your TV screen,
And every magazine,
When you have it all, tell me how it feels (do they
feel?)
They're fantastic, made of plastic,
You can try but you can't grasp it
Don't let them in or let them blow you away
Far from here you've come, small towns from which you've
To be close to those you wish you could be
I guess you never knew,
They're no better off than you,
They lost it all on quests of vanity
They're fantastic, made of plastic,
You can try but you can't grasp it
Don't let them in or let them blow you away
They're fantastic, made of plastic,
You can try but you can't grasp it
Don't let them in or let them blow you away
It's apparent to me, that you are happy to be,
Stumbling around in your bullshit fantasy,
Where everybody wears this phony ass grin
And nobody's ugly, or willing to look in-side
The mirror, they hide from the terror
That the world is not a utopian place
It's iller than ever with scumbags and killers
As the head motherfucker I spit in your face
I'll bet they write us off as a bunch of illiterates
With nothing to say, and think that we're ignorant
Afraid of our might, so they label us belligerant
How can they be so motherfuckin arrogant?
To think we'll stand by and take this shit
We are the strong and they the insignificant
So here's my reply to your condescending statements
All you fuckin faggots can suck my dick
Sick of all the lies, I despise all you fuckin fakes
Comes as no surprise, your demise, you fuel my hate
Hatred-anger contempt-plastic
[Lead]
You commercial motherfuckers coming out like your hard
You wanna talk shit lets pull some cards
The mike is my blowgun, spittin' venomous darts
I'm calling you all out, and you know who you are
These plastic people on this plastic planet
Are under my skin, and no one gives a fucking shit
Pop genocide, my solution seems drastic
You've got no heart, I know that you're plastic
I am the voice of hate!!!
Why are you all so fake?
I am the voice of hate!!!
Lost in a world, found in a place,
Moving too fast to see your grace,
I've got the mallet and here is the spike,
Help me now drive it as deep as you like,
It breaks me up inside, but helps to remind me
just exactly what it feels like,
Trapped in a world running this race
can't tell if I'm moving or staying in place,
Maybe another time another day I'll see you again,
I've see another sign that this will fade,
All things come to an end.
Standing alone, but standing beside
Thoughts that are shouting too loud to hide
Well I've got the needle and here is the thread,
help me repair these wounds bleeding red,
but waking up just in time to be late,
laying right next to the problem I made
Watching the world a distant gaze
can't tell if it's moving or staying in place
Maybe another time another day I'll see you again,
I've see another sign that this will fade,
All things come to an end.
Sorry for wasting all your time
still won't forget what's left behind
Sometimes I wonder where you are
How did we get so far apart?
Sorry for wasting all your time
still won’t forget what’s left behind
Sometimes I wonder where you are
How did we get so far apart?
Maybe another time another day I'll see you again
I've see another sign that this will fade
All things come to an end
Well I was born, I woke up in a hurricane
Too many lights come through than what I'm really used to
You're always drinkin the hard line
you're only laughing at that fuckin line
You've never taken the time to go, oh baby
Well I could get used to
Get used to
Get used to
Get used to
oh baby, well I could get used to
And you were gone, like I've never really seen
You went through a rise, now we bring you to your knees
I hope you know what you came for
You only laughing at the locked door
You've never taken the time to go
Oh baby, well I could get used to
Get used to
Get used to
Get used to
baby, well I could get used to
Get used to
Get used to
Get used to
baby, well I could get used to
You're gone, without a brain, I said, you're gone
You, still get used to...
