Michelangelo (Mike or Mikey) is a fictional character and one of the four main characters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all related media. His mask is typically portrayed as orange outside of the Mirage/Image/IDW comic series and his weapons are dual nunchaku, though he has also been portrayed using other weapons, such as a grappling hook, tonfa, and a three section staff (in some action figures).
More fun-loving than his brothers, Michelangelo was given a much bigger role in the 1987 cartoon series, directed at a younger audience, than in the more serious original comic books which was aimed at an older audience. He came to epitomize the late 1980s and early 1990s popular culture incarnation of the TMNT, coining most of their catchphrases. Like all of the brothers, he is named after a famous Renaissance artist; in this case, he is the namesake of Michelangelo Buonarroti, who was the painter of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The spelling of the character's name varies from source to source, and he has been alternately shown as both Michelangelo and Michaelangelo.
Plot
Gianni is sixty. He is retired but has not become lazy for all that. In fact he is a helpful fellow who gives a hand to all those who need one: shopping for his wife, walking the pretty neighbor's dog, and so on. Everybody likes Gianni, but is it for the right reasons? Doesn't his wife profit by the situation (she still works so it is only logical that Gianni do all the chores)? Isn't he subject to the excruciating whims of his rich mother?... Sure, everybody LIKES Gianni, but who LOVES him? Agreed, being kind to them, he is the ladies pet, but he does not attract them anymore. That is why, when his macho lawyer friend Alfonso blames him for not having young mistresses "like every other senior Italian male", Gianni, who is beginning to ask himself questions about what it is like to become old, starts chasing dames...

Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: You use, you lose kid!
Kermit: There's nothing cool about a fool on drugs!
Michael: [Alf shows Michael what he will look like in the future, via a mirror] Who is that?::Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: Well, it's not Freddy Krueger. This is you. Pretty pitiful, huh?
Michaelangelo: Cowabunga, dude! How did you ever get so totally cool?
Theodore: [the chipmunks and ALF discover what Michael is hiding in the box. Theodore sniffs the air] What's that weird smell?::Simon: I hate to suggest this, but my guess would be... marijuana. An unlawful substance used to induce artificial highs.
Bugs Bunny: [encountering Michael in a alley] What's dis? [picks up something Michael had dropped by a trashcan]... A joint? So, what's the big attraction?
Theodore: [shocked after discovering that Michael stole Corey's piggy bank] I can't believe it! Corey's own brother?::Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: Wally never did this sort of thing to The Beav.
Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: [after emerging from a picture frame on Corey's dresser after her piggy bank is stolen] You wanna help track down the thief, Garfield?::Garfield: [Garfield is a lamp] Hey, going through life with a blue lampshade is work enough. Wake me when the lasagna comes.::Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: [yanks the lamp attachment off of Garfield] Let me rephrase that: do you wanna help, or do you wanna be lunch?::Garfield: [salutes and climbs off the dresser] My luck to be stuck on a dresser with a pushy alien.
Theodore: There's someone who needs your help!::Alvin: What? Another autograph hound?
Gordon 'ALF' Shumway: The sound of a breaking piggy... if ever I've heard one.::Garfield: Two sounds you can't miss: The sound of a breaking piggy, and the sizzle of hot lasagna.
Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed that you were older
You were looking like Picasso
With a scar across your shoulder
You were kneeling by the river
You were digging up the bodies
Buried long ago
Michelangelo
Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed you were a pilgrim
On a highway out alone to find
The mother of your children
Who were still unborn and waiting
In the wings of some desire
Abandoned long ago
Michelangelo
Were you there at Armageddon
Was Paris really burning
Could I have been the one to pull you
From the point of no returning
And did I hear you calling out my name
Or was it forgotten long ago
Michelangelo
Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed that you were riding
On a blood red painted pony
Up where the heavens were dividing
And the angels turned to ashes
You came tumbling with them to earth
So Far below
Michelangelo
Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed that you were dying
In a field of thorn and roses
With a hawk about you crying
For the warrior slain in battle
From an arrow driven deep inside you
Long ago
Michelangelo
Did you suffer at the end
Would there be no one to remember
Did you banish all the old ghosts
With the terms of surrender
And could you hear me calling out your name
Well I guess that I will never know
Michelangelo
Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed that you were weeping
And your tears poured down like diamonds
For a love beyond all keeping
And you caught them one by one
In a million silk bandanas that I gave you long ago
