Kyle Brodziak (born May 25, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League. He was selected in the 7th round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 214th overall by the Oilers after being passed over in the 2002 draft.

Brodziak spent his entire junior career with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. He debuted as a 15 year old in the final two games of the 1999–2000 season, and won a full-time spot with the team the following season. For the next two seasons Brodziak played a minor role, only scoring ten times in 129 games. On the advice of his agent, he opted in to the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, but went unselected.

However, in 2002–03 Brodziak exploded offensively, scoring thirty-two times and more than tripling his previous years points total. He was also named Moose Jaw's hardest working player and unsung hero, and attended the selection camp for Canada's 2003 World Junior team, where he was the final forward cut. Subsequently, Brodziak was drafted by the Oilers and attended their first ever Top Prospects Camp. Brodziak also attended the Oilers main training camp at the beginning of the 2003–04 NHL season, but was returned to Moose Jaw, where he got off to a good start, being named CHL player of the week for October 27 - November 2. His high level of play continued, as he represented the WHL against the Russian Selects and finished the year third in the WHL in scoring. He was also named to the CHL Second All-Star team and the WHL East First All-Star team.

Steve Ott (born August 19, 1982) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, an alternate captain of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Born in Summerside, PEI, Ott's family moved to the village of Stoney Point, Ontario in the Windsor area. Ott played his minor hockey with the Sun County Panthers of the OMHA in the mid-1990s before signing for the 1998-99 season with the Leamington Flyers Jr.B. club (WOJHL).

After a solid Jr.B. season, Ott was selected in the 2nd round (41st overall) of the 1998 OHL Priority Selection by the Windsor Spifires.

Ott was a first round draft pick of the Dallas Stars, 25th overall at the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He played junior hockey for the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)'s Windsor Spitfires and had a brief spell with the Utah Grizzlies of the American Hockey League (AHL) before joining the Stars NHL roster. Ott played for the Leamington Flyers of the Junior B Hockey League in Ontario before being drafted by the Windsor Spitfires.

Ott represented Canada at the 2001 World Junior Hockey Championship, helping the team win the bronze medal. As part of his pestiness, Ott learned and memorized offensive phrases in other languages to strategically annoy his opponents on the ice in a language they could understand. During the 2004–05 NHL lockout, Ott played for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL where he set a team record for penalty minutes in a season, earning 279.

Aaron Rome (born September 27, 1983) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was originally selected out of the Western Hockey League (WHL) 104th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. Unsigned by the Kings, he joined the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim organization in 2004, earning most of his playing time with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliates. In 2007, he played one game with the Ducks during their Stanley Cup-winning playoff season. The following season, he was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, playing two seasons in the organization between the NHL and AHL. Becoming an unrestricted free agent in July 2009, he signed with the Canucks and established himself as a regular in the team's lineup.

Rome played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 1999–2004. After debuting in one game for the Saskatoon Blades in 1998–99, he registered 6 assists over 47 games in the following season. During his rookie WHL season, he played alongside older brother Reagan Rome as defensive partners for a short span (Reagan played five games for Saskatoon in 1999–2000 before moving to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League). Three games into the 2000–01 season, Rome moved from Saskatoon to the Kootenay Ice and finished the season with 2 goals and 10 points. Rome began the 2001–02 season with another new WHL team, the Swift Current Broncos. Playing in his third major junior season, he improved to 7 goals and 31 points. In the off-season, Rome was selected by the Los Angeles Kings, 104th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He was scouted as a stay-at-home defenceman with strong positioning and some offensive skills.

Leland Irving (born April 11, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was a first round selection of the Flames, 26th overall at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Irving made his NHL debut, with Calgary, on December 16, 2011, in a shootout loss to the Florida Panthers and won his first NHL game one week later in his second start, against the Vancouver Canucks

As an eight-year-old, Irving was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer, when a bump resembling an insect bite above his left ear was found to be cancerous. He endured 13 months of chemotherapy to overcome the illness. He continued to play minor hockey throughout his ordeal, and missed only one practice and one game.

As he grew older, he worked over the summers with the excavation company his father Bruce operated in his hometown of Swan Hills, Alberta.

Irving was drafted in the first round, 26th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames. He played five seasons of major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Everett Silvertips. The 2007–08 WHL season was his fifth and final season with the Silvertips; he played 56 games and sported a 2.45 goals against average. He finished his WHL career tied with Bryan Bridges for the league's all-time record for career shutouts with 21 (he was later surpassed the following season by Tyson Sexsmith of the Vancouver Giants).

Corey Crawford (born December 31, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender, who is currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League. His teammates and coaches often refer to him as "Crow".

Crawford was drafted 52nd overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. Crawford spent his pre-junior career playing for the Midget AAA Gatineau Intrepides, before spending his junior career with the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Crawford was the goaltender for the Wildcats in the 2003-04 QMJHL playoffs, when they ousted Rimouski Océanic in the first round. They went on to the President's Cup final, but lost the series to the Gatineau Olympiques. Crawford currently holds the Wildcats record for Best Goals Against Average (2.47 in 2004-05), Most Wins (35 in 2003-04), and is tied with Simon Lajeunesse for Most Shutouts in a season (6 in 2004-05). He was twice named to the QMJHL's second All-Star team (2003–04, 2004–05).
