Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE, Hon RAM, FRCM (born 18 June 1942) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and composer. Formerly of the Beatles (1960–1970) and Wings (1971–1981), he has been described by Guinness World Records as "The Most Successful Composer and Recording Artist of All Time", with 60 gold discs and sales of over 100 million albums and 100 million singles. With John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, he gained worldwide fame as a member of the Beatles, and with Lennon formed one of the most celebrated songwriting partnerships of the 20th century. After leaving the Beatles, he began a solo career and later formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda Eastman, and singer-songwriter Denny Laine.
According to the BBC, his Beatles song "Yesterday" has been covered by over 2,200 artists—more than any other song. Wings' 1977 release, "Mull of Kintyre", became one of the best-selling singles ever in the UK, and he is "the most successful songwriter" in UK chart history, according to Guinness. As a songwriter or co-writer, he is included on thirty-one number one titles on the Billboard Hot 100, and as of 2012 he has sold over 15.5 million RIAA certified units in the United States.
David Jon Gilmour,CBE (born 6 March 1946) is an English rock musician and multi-instrumentalist who is best known as the guitarist, one of the lead singers and main songwriters in the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It is estimated that as of 2010, the group have sold over 250 million records worldwide, including 74.5 million units sold in the United States.
In addition to his work with Pink Floyd, Gilmour has worked as a producer for a variety of artists, and has enjoyed a successful career as a solo artist. Gilmour has been actively involved with many charities over the course of his career.
In 2003, he was appointed CBE for his charity work and was awarded with the Outstanding Contribution title at the 2008 Q Awards. In 2011, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him number 14 in their list of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Gilmour was born in Cambridge, England. His father, Douglas Gilmour, was a senior lecturer in zoology at the University of Cambridge and his mother, Sylvia (née Wilson), was a teacher and film editor who raised her family at Grantchester Meadows, later immortalised by a Roger Waters song on Pink Floyd's Ummagumma. He has a younger brother who is also a musician.
Sam Roy "Sammy" Hagar (born October 13, 1947), also known as The Red Rocker, is an American rock vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and musician. Hagar came to prominence in the 1970s with the hard rock band Montrose. He afterwards launched a successful solo career, scoring an enduring hit in 1984 with "I Can't Drive 55". From 1985 to 1996, and 2003 to 2005, Hagar was the singer for Van Halen. On March 12, 2007, Hagar was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Van Halen.
Outside of music, he founded the Cabo Wabo Tequila brand and restaurant chain, as well as Sammy's Beach Bar Rum. He currently resides in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and also has a residence in Mill Valley, California. His present musical project is as lead singer of Chickenfoot.
Named after his mother's father, Sam Roy, Hagar was born in Salinas, California. His family soon moved to Fontana, where his father worked at the Kaiser Steel Mill. Hagar graduated from Fontana High School.
Hagar became interested in the burgeoning Southern California music scene, fronting his first band, the Fabulous Castilles.
Judy Kay "Juice" Newton (born February 18, 1952, Lakehurst, New Jersey, United States) is an American pop and country singer, songwriter and guitarist. To date, Newton has received five Grammy Award nominations in the Pop and Country Best Female Vocalist categories (winning once in 1983), as well as an ACM Award for Top New Female Artist and two Billboard Female Album Artist of the Year awards (won consecutively). She has several Gold and Platinum records to her credit, including Juice, Quiet Lies and her first Greatest Hits album. During the 1980s, Newton charted 14 Top-10 hits across the Billboard Country, AC, and Hot 100 charts, with many of the recordings achieving crossover success and six of the songs hitting the #1 position.[citation needed]
Newton graduated from First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In the early 1970s, Newton, Otha Young and Tom Kealey formed a band that would eventually be called Juice Newton and Silver Spur that was signed to RCA Records. The group released two RCA albums in 1975 and 1976, and scored only one charting country single with "Love Is a Word." The band signed with Capitol Records in 1977, but disbanded shortly after releasing one album.[citation needed]

"Aw, you up against it now mother fuckers!
You think you're big time?! You gonna fucking die! Big time!
You ready?! Here come the pain!"- Al Pachino 'Carlito's Way'
Waiting for my heart to stop, I hear it beating in the dark,
It keeps me up here, where I lay.
A constant source of agrivation for an overactive imagination,
Keeps me awake, here where I lay.
I.... will wait.
I will I will wait!
Sizing up a brand new rope, to use it now would be a joke,
To hang me up here, where I wait.
Turning on the light that blinds me, to make it easier to find me,
And light me up here, where I wait.
I.... will wait!
I will I will wait!
(Not the smell of mercy on me!) Erase the pain of what I know,
Not the smell of mercy on me!
(Not the smell of mercy on me!)I'm reaching down into a new high in lows! Not the smell of mercy on me!
Hey hey hey hey,
Whats been doin' where ya comin' from?
Hey hey hey,
Where you been hiding? been missing more than some.
Took a ride when I should'a walked,
Got there way to fast.
Should'a listened 'stead of talked,
First become the last.
Waiting for my heart to stop, I hear it beating in the dark,
It keeps me up here, where I wait.
But I... will wait.
I will I will wait!
(4 again)
Not the smell of mercy on me! (new high in lows!)
On the first day
I was aching
It was okay
You were faking
It's not worth it
You just don't try
Love so perfect
You just get by
Now it's all day
My hands are shaking
It's on the airwaves
And the news is breaking
It's not worth it
Just don't try
Thru the nineties
We just got by
Now I'm waiting for you
Like a life that is passing you by
It's not worth it
You just don't try
Love so perfect
You just get by
It's not worth it
You just don't try
Thru the nineties
We just got by
It's not worth it
Originally performed by Killing Joke
Motives changing
Day to day
The fire increases
Masks decay
I look at the river
White foam floats down
The body's poisoned
Got to sit tight
The wait
The wait
The wait
The wait
After awakening
The silence grows
The screams subside
Distortion shows
Mutant thoughts
Of bad mouthed news
Just another birth
We get so hypnotized by
The imposed rhythms of the passing time
Urgency solely defined by
Degrees of dissatisfaction in our minds
When's the wait a cradle in which you're lulled from time
to time
Soundly spun into an insensate lie
The light that burns in my eyes has faded
Baby just give me some time to find it again
My heart's lost touch with the world around me
I need that love back so I can try to begin again
When's the wait a cradle in which you're lulled from time
to time
Soundly spun into an insensate lie
From where we stand, baby, things don't have to look so
different
And lately I believe the truth can withstand any change
in point of view
When's the distance an opiate net woven with the
lifelines
Of those tiptoeing through your life
When's the wait a cradle in which you're lulled from time
to time
Said the wait child, magic child, work it on out now work it
The wait child, pinball child, pool hall child hurts
The wait child, pacing child, forth and back now hurts
The wait child, neon light, late night lights hurt
Oh gonna' hurt some child, child
Gonna' hurt some, whoa my baby
Said the wait child, bruised ball child, pride slapped child hurts
The wait child, crest-felled child, tear eyed child hurts
The wait child, bus-stop child, late come child hurts
The wait child, platform walk, idle talk hurts
Oh gonna' hurt some child, child
Gonna' hurt some, whoa my baby
I said child child staring into the street light
Messed up child, lonley boy tonight
Kick the wall, turn the street and back again
Oh boy you've been forgotten (repeat)
Said the wait child, pacing child, forth and back now hurts
The wait child, bus-stop child, late come child hurts
The wait child, pool-hall child, pin-table now hurts
The wait child, magic child, work it on out now work it
Oh gonna' hurt some child, child, child, child, child
Gonna' hurt some, whoa my baby
I think of when we slow dance in the street
I gave you one kiss softly on the cheek
When I bring you in I hope it never ends
I have my future so safely in my hands
And as we dance in the rain I've never felt this way
What a rush I swear this is much more than a crush
It's deep in my heart I'll never depart from you
I've fallen over the moon
So deep that it will slip through my skin to show
I'm all in To the day I die and say goodbye
Thank you for the ride of my life
I think of when we talk about our dreams
And how they soon but yet so far out of reach
This will be worth the wait but
I can't take the wait for another day
I'm home, I'm not alone You took my hands without a plan
Thank you for taking that chance
Bad dreams keep telling me it's all in vain
They say I'm just training my love for pain
You would never give me the key to your heart
And this wait would only tear my soul apart
Night dawns, I rise
Still my wandering spirit stays down
Bathed in my own lies
Never said forever bound
Even if my will dries out
The rain will bring it back to life
One embrace, erase my doubts
Only your touch can clear my sky
Share the emptiness
The wind of dreams that create reality I caress
Try and see the light
Stop fighting love, don't close your eyes
I'll wait another day
I trust that time will find a way
Come, surf with the alien on top of a wave
Dive and in our hearts the sea of love will rave
Swim in the sea bed, in the morning reach the shore
Hide under the sails till your body asks for more
Times change, love remains
How could the wind blow out the flame ?
No way to escape
Don't leave me lost inside the maze
Try and see the light
Stop fighting love, don't close your eyes
I'll wait another day
I trust that time will find a way
Drive into the sky until it turns the afternoon black.
Halfway across the state on the day we set the clocks back.
And I don't know where I'm going.
I follow broken yellow lines.
And I hope this open road can read my broken mind.
This wouldn't be the first day you left me thirsty.
This wouldn't be the first day you went your way,
left me empty, dry.
Living in the dark and it's turned your heart black.
Halfway to the moon since you took your nights back.
I was finished being cool.
I'd unmasked this masquerade.
And you leave me here to clean up all the mess you made?
The pictures falling off the wall
They say that this is changing
Under it all, under it all
The faces look so different
But something catches you
Try not to fall, try not to fall
I can't stay here inside this mess
So can I jump on the wagon towards your place
And I'm running from it
Under it all, under it all
And I can't see anything, anything at all
It's clouding the vision of you again
And I sing
I'll walk away from all I am
And you are there, behind the dim
I walk to you and know I'm there, I'm there
Can you see, I'm falling faster but I'm
I'm dying to know you, I'm dying to know you again
The love we had will never come again
Under it all
Don't wait for me to follow through
With anything I promised
I know that I've changed, but not that much
I think that we've got to
Figure it out inside our heads, 'cause I'm not fading
Under it all
And what you see is what you get
So get ready
Let's take it slow, let's relax now
To finding out what we had together
We knew that it would be the same as it was before
But we were under it all, under it all
And I can't stay away 'cause I'm
I'm dying to know you, I'm dying to know you again
And all I see in you I'm
I'm dying to know you, I'm dying to know you again
Don't fall away from all
I'm ready to show you, I'm ready to show you again
What I am 'cause I'm gone, I'm gone down
'Cause I'm away without you I'm
I'm dying to know you, dying to know you again
And all I see are silhouettes fading on my brain
Of love we had, what we made
Break down with this love we had 'cause I'm
Dying to know you, I'm dying to know you again
And all I see is you and
I'm dying to know you, I'm dying to know you again
Again, yeah, I'm dying to know
Do you recall when we first met
You thought we were worlds apart
Now it's easy to see just how our lives should be
Every time I feel the beating of your heart
Who am I without you?
What am I if we're through?
You're my eyes when I can't see
You're my lungs when I can't breathe
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
You're my legs when I am weak
You're my voice when I can't speak
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
Even now I still can't believe
You thought we'd be better as friends
And it's hard to imagine where our lives would be
It's so easy to see how much I depend on you
Who am I without you?
What am I if we're through?
You're my eyes when I can't see
You're my lungs when I can't breathe
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
You're my legs when I am weak
You're my voice when I can't speak
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
I'll keep holding on just as long as you let me (as long as you let me)
I'll keep holding on, I'll keep holding on
Just as long as you believe in me
You're my eyes when I can't see
You're my lungs when I can't breathe
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
You're my legs when I am weak
You're my voice when I can't speak
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything
You're my eyes when I can't see
You're my lungs when I can't breathe
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
You're my legs when I am weak
You're my voice when I can't speak
You're the only thing I need
You are my everything, everything
You are my everything, everything
You're everything to me
Uncover the empty room
You lay beside me
I'm selfish in your eyes
Uncovered mistakes
Well I've waited for this chance to arrive in here
But I called you out
And you answered
I saw your side
And you answered
I called you out
And you answered
You answered sometimes
There's likely more reason
Reason in finding
That your line is L shaped
Uncovered mistakes
Well I've waited for this chance to arrive in here
But I called you out
And you answered
I saw your side
And you answered
I called you out
And you answered
You answered sometimes
Right
This is why
This all we were
This is what it came to
But you never did
You never did
This is why
This is what I am
Listen now, silent here
Cover your ears when I speak to you softly
Silent now
Cover your ears when I speak to you softly
This
you wait
you wait
you wait for summer
then you wait for rain
you wait
you wait
you wait for darkness
then you wait for day
yeah you wait
you wait
you wait
you wait
and she says
patience, darling
patience, patience
it will come
you wait
you wait
you wait for august
then you wait for may
you wait
you wait
wait to get there
then you wait to play
you wait
you wait
you wait for someday
that'll make the waiting
worth the wait
the wait
you wait
and she says
patience, darling
patience, patience
it will come
Ahh, Ahhh, Ahhh,
Ahhh-ohh, Ahhh-ohh
Ahhh-ohh

hit me up
my [tiv's] changing
day to day
the fiery kisses
fast decay
i look up the river
my firm thoughts down
the block they've poisoned
gotta sit tight
the wait
odd awakening
the silence grows
screams outside
distortion shows
new jump force
bad bad billys
it's just another [vine]
of distorted greed
13 weeks of violent peace
the 1000 pains of a 1000 dreams
extacy may be agony
the hurt is worse than it seems
The Wait
thrown away like that teddy bear
kids discharge along the road somewhere
pity those who loved you most
hell to pay,hell to care
The Wait
spin ‘round the axis explode with the power
of dreams you have lived
twisting and turning down into the mindbanks
of love gone sour.gone bad, gone away........
If life did smile like you
there would be no end
to what I’d do
every day is halloween
when those whom the gods love die young
the people are waiting for this to begin
a variety of reasons unknown
with blood on their hands
i refuse to say anything
i refuse to confess
you know my age means nothing
but their age means less
it's fleeting
misleading
comfortably beyond our reach
pay attention
when we mention
to take those bodies and build that mountain high
they heard of a place
where the senses could go
the already sovereign
boys don't cry you know
they wanted to be free
they were already strong
a nod to the evening
we'll crack you before long
i know you're at home
and you're sitting there
you're old enough to care
doesn't it feel great to feel anything
