Vishnu (Sanskrit विष्णु Viṣṇu) is the supreme God in Hyderabad area Vaishnavite of Hinduism. Smarta followers of Adi Shankara, among others, venerate Vishnu as one of the five primary forms of God.
The Vishnu Sahasranama declares Vishnu as Paramatman (supreme soul) and Parameshwara (supreme God). It describes Vishnu as the All-Pervading essence of all beings, the master of—and beyond—the past, present and future, one who supports, sustains and governs the Universe and originates and develops all elements within. Vishnu governs the aspect of preservation and sustenance of the universe, so he is called "Preserver of the universe".
In the Puranas, Vishnu is described as having the divine colour of water filled clouds, four-armed, holding a lotus, mace, shankha (conch) and chakra (wheel). Vishnu is also described in the Bhagavad Gita as having a 'Universal Form' (Vishvarupa) which is beyond the ordinary limits of human perception or imagination.
In almost all Hindu denominations, Vishnu is either worshipped directly or in the form of his ten avatara, most famous of whom are Rama and Krishna. The Puranabharti describes each of these Dasavatara of Vishnu. Among the ten principal Avatara described, nine have occurred in the past and one will take place in the future, at the end of Kali Yuga. These incarnations take place in all Yugas in cosmic scales, the avatars and their stories show that god is indeed unimaginable, unthinkable and unbelievable. The Bhagavad Gita mentions their purpose as being to rejuvenate Dharma and vanquish negative forces, the forces of evil that threaten Dharma, as also to display His divine nature in front of the conditioned/fallen souls.

I see her face in my dreams – like a star shining
all across the sea
I remember this moment – years ago there was only
you and me
When I wake up in sadness – I realize my deep
wounds never heal
Living only in memories – all is lost, coldness I
can feel
Sky turned darker and darker – soulless voices
whispering her name
End came closer and closer – endless sleep was
sweeping in her veins
She faded away – like a rose on a winterday
I remember her last words – please don´t cry for
Lost in endless night take me there, where I see you
again
Reach out for the light when will I break my pain
Come and fly with me all across the raging sea
Together we will be when will I ever be free
One night I was dreaming seemed to me like reality, so
clear
A fallen angel inside me speaks to me, tells me what
has to be done
There´s a fire in my heart burning bright like the
glory of a king
For too long I was waiting now my soul is flowing in
the wind
She faded away like a rose on a winterday
I remember her last words please don´t cry for me
Lost in endless night take me there, where I see you
again
Reach out for the light when will I break my pain
Come and fly with me all across the raging sea
Together we will be when will I ever be free
Lost in endless night take me there, where I see you
again
Reach out for the light when will I break my pain
Come and fly with me all across the raging sea

YOU CAN'T MAKE IT LOVE
BY MICHAEL MCDONALD AND JOHN SCOTT SHERRILL
YOU IF ANYONE SHOULD KNOW WHAT TIME WILL TELL
NOT SO LONG AGO YOU TAUGHT ME OH SO WELL
NOW YOUR TIME HAS COME
SOMEONE TOOK YOUR PLACE
(THERE'S) NO NEED TO TELL ME THAT HE'S GONE (‘CAUSE)
I CAN READ IT ON YOUR FACE
CHORUS:
YOU LEARNED THAT YOU COULD DREAM EVERY NIGHT
YOU CAN TRY ALL YOU LIKE
YOU CAN PRAY EVERY DAY THAT IT'S ENOUGH
YOU CAN HOPE ALL YOU WANT
IT'S SOMETHING TO HANG YOUR FAITH ON
BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE IT LOVE
THERE'S NO WAY LOVE CAN GROW
IF ONLY ONE IS TRUE
I WOULD THINK THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
AFTER ALL, I LEARNED THIS FROM YOU
NO MATTER HOW MUCH ONE'S IN LOVE
AS LONG AS ONE IS LYING
THERE AIN'T NO AMOUNT OF TEARS
THERE AIN'T NO AMOUNT OF TRYING
CHORUS:
YOU LEARNED THAT YOU COULD DREAM EVERY NIGHT
YOU CAN TRY ALL YOU LIKE
YOU CAN PRAY EVERY DAY THAT IT'S ENOUGH
YOU CAN HOPE ALL YOU WANT
IT'S SOMETHING TO HANG YOUR FAITH ON
BOOM! IN YOUR FACE!
I can't take it anymore, my heart's on the floor
Seems like everyday my back's against the wall
THEY LAUGH AS I BLEED (never knowing what they're going
to receive)
show the kids we really care about the music and the
scene
BURN IT UP GONNA FIGHT WON'T GIVE IN 'TILL WE RULE THIS
NIGHT
I won't be brought back down again, do you know where we
Nothing you do can harm me
I'm thick in my skin, got a struggle within
You'll never be able to hurt me again
Nothing you say can incite me
I don't find your routine inviting
I change my ways i learned to ..?
I rule modern life without further delay
So now i'm on my way to fight another day
They only got one thing in mind: to open up, defy the
times!
The kids all look sofisticated
THEY CANT BE BOUGHT THEY WONT BE JADED!
There's a lot behind their open eyes
so you better open up your mind
kids have much more than hope
they gonna push the envelope
THEKIDS.STILLHAVE.ALOT.TOSAY
Can't you see that things are changing, don't you know
"I don't want this anymore" is all I heard her say
As I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door
With my music in my phones and my bike under my feet
Things started to look different as I got out on the street
Sometimes I see her face
In the new people that I meet
We're not who we thought we were
When we saw this dream
Sometimes when I just can't sleep
I hear the words you said to me
How did you get so deep inside of me?
I wake up and I move on, admit the past is gone
I wake up and I refine
Moving forward to the next lifetime
I leave it all behind
Sometimes when I just can't sleep
I hear the words you said to me
Sometimes it takes a painful loss
To realize you are free
How did you get so deep inside of me?
I never thought of the consequences,
I never thought at all.
I never thought you'd be the one to ever take a fall.
There you sit, you still don't think,
just staring at a wall.
thinking that you're wide awake
When you're not awake at all (chorus)
Crawling out of your mind, wanting to be free-The pieces of your life.
People talk until they're blue in the face,
But they never seem to understand.
There you sit, you still don't think,
just staring at a wall.
thinking that you're wide awake
When you're not awake at all (repeat chorus)
The pieces of your mind are falling apart.
The pieces of your heart are falling apart.
Remember when we met so long ago?
We had some fun and liked each other so.
We talked alot and knew each other well enough.
You said I was the only one for you.
But I was blind and never really knew.
That holding on to love could be so very tough.
And there was somethin' in the way she took, my breath away.
I knew that she was the only one for me.
She let me in so easily, it's plain to see...
(that there was somethin'...)
Now like the seasons change you've gone.
It's hard to say just what went wrong.
And i don't think I want to know the truth... no no.
You had the power to break a heart.
I gave you mine and you tore it all apart.
Now I'm the one who has to play the fool!
And there was somethin' in the way she took, my breath away.
I knew that she was the only one for me.
She let me in so easily, it's plain to see...
Something left of me, something left to show, something i
can't see. HERE WE GO
Things may never be the same again
when you pull apart my pieces
BREAKDOWN FUCK YOU!
take time to realize, before it's too late
will you open your eyes
look around, expect to find, outstanding ... with a naval
mind
take time to realize, before it's too late
will you open your eyes
if you see me contemplate you might even change your fate
in me and see UNITY not hate.
Learn to see a different view other than the ones you
knew by tearing down the walls that separate!
TAKE.THE.TIME.TO.REALIZE
We gotta live today!
Cause there may be no tomorrow.
... LIVE TODAY
And every second is borrowed
There is no time for waiting
and no room for those who stand still
NO STOPPING NOW NO SITTING DOWN
NO HESITATION AND NO TURNING ROUND
Let go of things once said LIVE TODAY
[Verse 1:]
Her name was Lupita, I met her at school
Real sophisticated, kind of preppy, but cool
I wrote her a poem, it captured her heart
It put me in a friendzone, but that was a start (see)
I started noticing her in a-whole-nother light
Was the inspiration for every love song I would write
Dreams, I hold on t'her thight, I tried to prevent
Not liking her I tried to pretend, cause her and I was just friends
And it's a thin line, emotions I bottled them in
Just a foolish love jones, what this probably is
Captivated by her lips, everytime I conversate with her
Wanne make her mine, what I'm waiting for, I gotta let her know...
[Chorus: x2]
She's driving my crazy, feelings starting to show
With her I wanna go, think I'm moving too slow
I got to let her know, Yeah I got to let her know (that)
[Verse 2:]
About someone know how I feel, I'm kind of hesitant
Afraid of rejection, intimidation is evident
She's way out of my league, but that's irrelevant
To how I feel, my feelings just keep developing
"Just let her know how you're feeling", My niggas recomend
Hundred girls, but only one I'm interested in
And that's her, the definition of what beautiful is
Intelligent, And she's far from the usual
Not just a schoolboy crush, it's deep in my heart
Not just a schoolboy crush maan, it's deep in my heart
And she don't know, am I wrong for keeping her in the dark, I gotta let her know...
[Chorus x2]
[Verse 3:]
Shawn and Lupita, sitting in a tree
K.I.S.S.I.N.G
Everybody says she's out of my league
And she would never go for a guy like me
I'm thinking maybe I should write her a note
I'm in the mirror rehearsing plotting how to approach
Cause she's fine as hell, you gotta agree
I'm a just give it a shot, how hard can it be
I finally stepped to her and let her know how I felt
Her brown eyes made my heart melt, couldn't breathe
That's when she replied, "maybe in another life"
Cause I just wasn't her type but...
[Intro:]
They say everything you go through in life makes life worth living
But if the world should end tomorrow...
I often think about that sometimes, know what I'm saying?
[Verse 1:]
I'll take the pain and the strife
I know it's not in vain
And struggle relate to everything in this life
I'm maintaining became a beam of light for the youth in the streets
Intertwining with goons never complaining cause it's all written
Don't be bitter we all sinners
Lusting for the good life, some hearts cold as December
Hiding behind stripes and stars Father forgive um
Earth out of her mind look what she had to witness
I talk to her at times she tell me what's on her heart
I tell her what's on my mind
Momma where do I start?
Why everybody divided?
Why people afraid to die?
She told me "talk to ya Father, he's in the sky."
[Verse 2:]
Father why everybody complaining bout what they got?
Ungrateful, they don't see what you gave um?
Make a lump sum of money start to thinking they made it
He said if you pay attention to the weather I'm jaded
It could be mid July and I feel like raining
Any day of the year I shed a tear Poppa amazing
One drop could flood the block there's no one greater
And that's why I live in the sky
No lie, I'm fly, defy gravity, I reply damn
It's like you only show yourself to the wise
I know why you won't let me come home
Left me here on my own cause I ain't doing my job so you just letting me roam
He responded "correct" go home to my mom I'm vexed
She the reason for my drama and stress, you seem to love her
Remember though, she the present but I'm forever
Won't be long till you see us together I replied until than...
[Chorus:]
Now if the world should end tomorrow, Lord have mercy on me
And if the sky should fall and the walls come tumbling down, tumbling down
Now if the world should end tomorrow, Lord have mercy on me
And if the sky should fall and the walls come tumbling down, tumbling down
Than that's what it's gonna be
[Verse 1:]
I wake up in the mornin' with a appetite
For money, gotta make sure that he right
Best weed keep me higher then a satellite
Where I'm from, life's a gamble, grab the dice
'Fore I leave, pray to God, then I grab my Nikes
Remember those times I knew I had to fight
Nigga might run up on you at the traffic light
Wind up in some heavy shit if you packin' light
Now a days, strap up, they ain't packin' nice
Streets made of ice, slip, that's your life
To live and die in CA, from the home of PA
Guaranteed to make it pop like a fuckin' briefcase
Come where I stay, not too far from the Bay
About two-hundred-twenty miles from LA
You'll find FC in the middle of the state
Valley of the kings where it all takes place
[Chorus:]
And they say that it never rains in Central California, California
And they say that if you don't watch your back, they'll run up on ya, run up on ya
And they say that it never rains in Central California, California
And they say that if you don't watch your back, they'll run up on ya, run up on ya
Take your life, take your soul
So I think twice, the streets is cold
And that's how it goes
Down in Sunny California, California
[Verse 2:]
I'm from the home of the three strikes
And before you trust a nigga, better think twice
'Cause they be all in your house while you at church
Come home and shit gone, I know that hurts
Come back the next day, sell you a bag of perc
I know it sound bad, but I've seen worse
A pimp told me "a ho is just an open purse"
A ho told me a pimp don't see what she worth
Think that a shame, that's the game and we all in it
Hollywood, don't take it personal, it's all business
Understood, candy painted cars dippin' throughout the hood
E&J;, Optimo's and Backwood's
All the little homies wanna be like Suge
Attitude like "I wish a nigga would"
But it's all good where I stay
Sunny Californ-I-A
[Chorus]
[Outro:]
I'm from the home of the three strikes
And before you trust a nigga, better think twice, think twice
From the home of the three strikes
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
That she complain all the time
That I'm a wait on the ground
Doing days, ever we stay, all the places I fly
Out here rise, makes you wild with my niggas who down the ride
Find, multiply my numbers never mind!
Hey, ALS, every weekend don't be surprised
What you do is give me sit back, love help me recline
This is the life! I hope it last
Just a high school drop out, sitting in first class
On my way to Osaka, champagne is impostor
Damn shame, a young and make it's way out the products
This baby I remember nights before the flashy lights
Only flight that I ever saw was a pair at night Shawty!
[Hook]
Oh, all I really wanna know
All I really wanna do
Is spend a little time with you
As long as you know!
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
I know you know, yeah, yeah
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
I know you know, yeah, yeah
JFK every weekend you wonder why
All she do is asking nigga to stay and I decline
I realize I'm worldwide with my niggas who're down to fly
If it ain't about that money, Shawty pay it no mind
People say that I live such an expensive life
All I need is a passport and a samp tonight
A G4, I'll probably land in Japan tonight
WiFi on the flight, hit the fam on Skype
And touch down in the city, every town on my grizzly
I get around lifting now as if to be found
Did you miss me baby? I've been on my hustle
Penguins is what I'm chasing
And for your information, I've never been on vacation
I'm saying no!
[Hook]
Oh, all I really wanna know
All I really wanna do
Is spend a little time with you
As long as you know!
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
I know you know, yeah, yeah
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
I know you know, yeah, yeah
What if I would have stayed on my hood?
Probably been up to no good
Saying goodbye to the ghetto and hello Hollywood
Still puffing in public, I wouldn't change if I could
Usually out there for paper, man but those back words
I got a custom in customs, drinking vodka in Russia
I go shopping in Harlem and make you stop at the rucker
Tequila in Tijuana got a queen in Rwanda
Another one out in Ghana, beast of my beast I encounter
Eazy E in OE, the only thing we got in common
The chick and chi city that we blow
We call them Wendy oh, oh
He's back at it, the iron lung never asthmatic
And you're acting as you've never seen the athletes, Shawty
[Hook]
Oh, all I really wanna know
(And I know that you know
That is international F and I'm back in effect)
All I really wanna do
Is spend a little time with you
As long as you know!
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
(You should know)
I know you know, yeah, yeah
Baby, that I'm worldwide, I'm worldwide
Assassin, nigga it's F, nigga it's F
Nigga
Black mask and it's the season
Motherfucker, I don't get mad, I get even
Burning the devil, let us out the garden, he eating
20 deep in the park, porting my hitters
We all here, grizzly game playing your part bears
I support the right to arm bears
Mom stares, I lift you out your launch air
Nigga, just keep it calm, when the don's near
And this is cloud rap, off a loud pat
Committin, foul acts with a wild batch, ah
A chain snatchin, game havin,
Crown figures, you know my nigga
You's a halfway crook, pokin bitches on facebook
Yeah, the same lame get his chain took
Ah, the same lame get his chain took
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Niggas say that I graduated from schemin
Well maybe not, still california dreamin
The parkin lot's full of impalas and beamers
A couple yachts, bitches follow with my seamen
A shoe box full of dollars for no reason
I'm a problem, just believe it
I'm bombing like I'm bullimic, over something supersonic
Kinda ...procedures
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks
Halfway crooks, halfway crooks, halfway crooks

[** feat. Aloe Blacc:]
[Verse 1: ~Fashawn~]
When I was young, I figured if I became a star*
Maybe they wouldn't seem as far
Maybe I wouldn't dream as hard
Wanna stop, but all I hear is that applause
I'm addicted to the energy it causes
I wanna relive it every minute, that star
Know I'm a shine despite all of my hardships
I consider them lessons instead of losses
My old Nikes wouldn't fit, so I tossed 'em
They wasn't fit for the fire I had to walk through
A lot of disappointments, a lot of promises
A lot of niggas fell off, they lack confidence
They had a dream but didn't know how to conquer it
It's not your accomplishments, it's what's inside of us
A star is a star and it shines regardless
Of the money and the fame, it's what's in your heart
So many stars
[Chorus: ~Aloe Blacc~]
So many stars, so many stars
Which one to choose, which way to go
Each one's a song for me
So many stars to see
So many stars, so many stars
Which one to choose, which way to go
Each one's a song for me
So many stars to see
[Verse 2: ~Fashawn~]
Even if I reach the clouds, I'll by flyer than 'em all
See, the thing about stars, they shine, some even fall
So, you're forced to watch 'em, listen to 'em in your car
Even at home on your screen, you can seem them from afar
I be nervous at times, admit I get butterflies
When the crowd yells "Ho! " it's a natural high
Still after every show, I'm tryin' to see at least a grand
Meltin' mic stands from LA to Japan
Me and Ex on a mission, so respect intuition
Blessed with a vision, obsessed with writin' lyrics
I guess, it was written in the sky like a scripture
Back in time, history, never said it was mine
Now we rackin' up arenas, emceein', kickin' rhymes
Labels wanna give me some G's, that's just fine
A star is a star and it shines regardless
Of the money and the fame, it's what's in your heart
So many stars
the ghetto is pitch black and we all wanna shine, so a third of us round
the other half about math, flipping birds, reading a there is no words to describe
my habitat accepts hostiles, , and trips to the hospital or
get locked in solitude surrounded by darkness hoping some light shine through
dvd boosting, crack rock producing, business suits claim we're useless
and won't give you jobs, and wonder why their ass get robbed
wonder why my junk brother stuck on reefer
because the state refuse to pay good teachers
while the rich kids watch from the bleaches
i ask jesus let some light creep in
may god keep a little something for the g's and cold hearted niggers that's freezin'
everything happens for a reason
why nigger's start shit, this ain't nothin for the radio, nah this ain't nothing for the radio
nah, this right here what you've been waiting for, hey this right here what you've been waiting for
why is it me that this dark cloud follows?
i ...ground in this velvet here bottles
i keep my hand from him it's a revival
the limits keep my hands spinning like a gyro
i need a cairo, cause i feel like i'm alone in this world
who got my back? they tell me find god like i don't know where he at
and if he lost i be following him
just acknowledge the fact that a father exists, and the devil's alive
i'm just caught in the mix, be fore he shines his light over me i was out on the strip
holding it down till i discovered my gift, got talent bro, i'm telling you
it felt more like a curse, in my hoodie, i still made it to church
just the time they hear the pastor complain like sunshine after the rain, help us out
may god keep a little something for the g's and cold hearted niggers that's freezin'
everything happens for a reason
why nigger's start shit, this ain't nothin for the radio, nah this ain't nothing for the radio

And I ask myself "why?"
I can't understand why?
Sometimes a nigga wake up nah mean?
Wonder why he do the shit he do
Nah mean, it's life
We make the most out of it though
AIDS took so many brothers, yet we still going raw under covers
It's 2009, gotta think smarter,
stop being baby daddies and be fathers
I can't understand (why)
Some dudes vacate to the
Hamptons
knowing they seeds need Pampers
Wanna be a part of they life, instead they tricking different women
No room for a wife or a family (I can't understand why)
God got a million names
if we made it his image
does he see it the same
if we flesh of his flesh
Teardrops symbolizing the rain
I just can't understand (Why)
I get high to forget about the present
Why I'm not riding in the S6
But life is all about decisions
Make the most outta mine while I'm living
I do what I do, live how I live
It is what it is. but...
I told my momma I'd change but it's clear I'll always be the same
I ask myself (Why) [x2]
I swear life is a maze, I'm just tryin' to get it right before I fade
But I keep hitting walls
, everyday is like a battle
Learn somethin' different every time a nigga travel
Still (Why) They hatin' when I get home
Sayin' my name just so they can get known
not in the same lane
It's ironic how I became a product of fame
20 years old out on my own
(I can't understand Why?)
I made those decisions I made, friendships decayed
Bitches I laid and never called back
People I robbed, spots where I hung,
rocks that I slung
, niggas I socked and made fall back
(I can't understand Why)
Do good brothers turn bad
Whippin 7 and a half outta 6 that's how we learn math
Kinda sick how we earn cash
Not in a right mind so I petal along the wrong path (Can't understand Why)
Everybody caught up in politics
Democrats, Republicans. When will the drama end?
Mathematic how the government dividin' us
Yet my mind shine bright as the Metropolis (Why)
shine a light on the populace
So I write like a columnist,
dictate like a communist
Through it all I continue to stand tall as the monuments
(I can't understand Why)
Heaven to Hell so I'm ponderin'
Which afterlife I'm a wind up in
Took too many losses so I gotta win
Fatherless, soakin' up knowledge from my momma's friends (Why)
They all sold drugs and love to puff weed
angel dust
couldn't teach me how to succeed
So I bailed out, in the lab,
beats sittin' in the jailhouse.
(Can't understand...)
(feat. Evidence)
[Verse 1: Fashawn]
Cen Cal terrain, soak up game
Where graff writers bomb trains
And poets is smoked out with dope in they veins
Need a toast to the post where we hang
Dialect unmatched
Gotta adapt to the slang that's spoke
A West Coast thing
Out of town niggas get took out the frame
Just for thinkin' every hood's the same
Especially where I'm from
We live by the gun
Put money over bitches, and die over funds
You could lie in the trunk
Or at the blink of an eye get jumped
Can't say we seen it all
But we can say we saw enough
Survive when the times got rough
And the money got low, houses got raided
We was at the park gettin' faded
Not a care in the world
[Hook x2: scratched samples]
"West Coast in ya area"
"From the streets of the 'No"
"5-5-9" "My birthplace" "L-A"
"Where I'm comin' from"
"The Coast of the Pacific"
[Verse 2: Evidence]
Another two days, the sun set, they lose like touche
Too bad, I was off the head like toupees
Got home off two planes, toothaches
To-day, myspace, two-thousand plays
Last call for alcohol's two AM
On a Tuesday night, we was sayin'
Know this our way, LA party crashin'
We from here, y'all talk funny, y'all got the accents
East slopes to the beach, post up each
Every day, new trees, Cali green
Green leafs, weed medicine cards
Streets got eyes in 3D
Still peep, polluted air when I sleep
Fuckin' up the count in my sheep
The far left, I'm part of the next
Shine different, work hard, not gonna bottle the stress
[Hook x2]
[Verse 3: Fashawn]
Skate parks jumpin', one-time focus
Young niggas pumpin', hoodrats scopin'
At the bus stop, brothers might slide through dumpin'
Broad daylight outside like "fuck it"
Hood rich, we drive-by in buckets
With chrome 22's on the side, call it stuntin'
Flamboyant young hustlers and
Couch bums who amounted to nothin'
Mouthpiece help me get dough
Out a chick in the mall buyin' fresh clothes
Some broads got burned out
Erica turned 17 and got turned out
That's how we live in the streets of the F
Paranoid so I sleep with a Tec, valley of death
I'm from the Sunshine State, but we livin' in darkness
Be smart, nigga, enter with caution, it's F-C
In the rain,
I wanna go outside in the rain!
It may sound crazy,
But I wanna go outside (go outside) in the rain!
Sometimes the answer is always plain as day,
And what you think is meant to be, can simply fade away!
One blink,
I'm having all these thoughts 'till I can't think,
My people on the block, doing same thing
They did when they was eighteen.
Swiping on the coke that made their brain shrink
Throw away their dreams with a chick that's like...
You know, ass like a Mustang, she hella fast,
Not the type of bitch you should be trusting, straight from the ass,
Niggas be running in paths,
Kicking in your door for the cash,
A nigga die, a nigga laugh, another day pass.
Niggas only fuck with Fresno thinking they gon' get their pass
You come to the valley that's your ass,
I know some insane niggas that be following blindly
I ain't James Brown and you don't wanna try me.
Even know people in high places think of me highly,
I wonder if my ex-girls still think about me (about me).
[Chorus:]
I wanna go outside
I wanna go outside
I wanna go outside
In the rain!
I wanna go outside
I wanna go outside
It may sound crazy,
But I wanna go outside (go outside) in the rain!
I wanna go outside
I wanna go outside
I wanna go outside!
(Cause) It ain't a damn thing pretty where we're living at,
Lot of niggas broke; lot of bitches ain't feeling that,
Lot of niggas gave up, some niggas gave in,
Couple went schizo saying the walls caved in,
Enough to pull a.45 out the dresser,
One hand clutching, one hand writing the letter,
Telling your mother that you're her son for forever.
But I can't let it get me down,
Even though I happen to witness, see nothing but frowns,
Everybody holding up signs,
Is daytime but the sun don't shine!
Man, my city is so gloomy, all these foggy mornings seem to subdue me,
And all these raining days, they tend to just soothe me
I know only the real hustlers out,
Like ain't no rain gon' put me in a trough.
[Chorus:]
I wanna go outside in the rain!
It may sound crazy,
But I wanna go outside (go outside) in the rain!
(Cause) Just the kinda niggas stuck on this planet, struggle and scrambling,
Hustling, gambling, juggling chances,
Momma said there'd be days like this,
Let the rain just wash away all my pain,
Let me live!
Lord, why the F flooded with crime?
Straight bullets flying, niggas dying, two at a time,
Got my head to the ground, no longer pray to the sky,
Still waiting on the answer to the question 'why? '
Guess you get it when you die,
Never understand your life, till you press rewind,
Smoking cess cause success got me stressed at times,
Ain't been happy for a while,
Gotta practice how to smile for a rainy day, stack on few...
Just to stay on float,
That's the way it go!
Hard times can take a man and break his soul,
Think I might hit the avenue and take a stroll,
Spend the day alone,
Staring out my window, singing, singing, singing, singing:
[Chorus:]
I wanna go outside in the rain!
It may sound crazy,
I wrote this song in a damn beat and I'm totally wrong,
Staring at a window, me and my mobile phone,
Puffing off some indo, feeling so far from home,
I don't know why I'm complaining; I'm finally on my own.
About fifty-six days, how long have I been gone?
But who's counting I just know, it's been a little too long.
[Chorus:]
And yeah I'm travelling,
I'm packing for my back in my Connecticut,
... this is madness, I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
And I missed the moving so fast,
I learned to take my time,
This world can be hectic; you could be left behind,
So, we stress, and let it eat us from inside,
You got to get it off your chest and keep it off your mind.
Sometimes I wonder when I'll see 25,
Well, I'll be in three years, hopefully in my prime.
[Chorus:]
And yeah I'm travelling,
I'm packing for my back in my Connecticut,
... this is madness, I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
Check it out!
Feels good!
Sometimes I feel like I'm writing my life away,
In the studio night and day,
Like... like I'm half my age,
And all I need is a mike and a stage,
Some would say, I say, I'm sick of these airplanes,
Automobiles in these... shit,
Maybe I'm right, then again maybe I'm wrong,
Another day, another song, fuck I'm taking too long,
And guess what happens...
I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
I won't be happy until I get home!
Singing in the house,
[Hook x4: Talib Kweli sample]
"Livin' my life, expressin' my liberty
It gotta be done properly" "done properly"
[Verse 1:]
My patterns is unmatched
I leave MC's hunchbacked with one rap
Guaranteed no comeback
I run laps around 'em, roll like Dunlap tires
Made a lot of niggas retire, I be ya highness
Sucka MC's might as well call me a sire
Just shootin' the breeze
Fuck a plane, I take you higher
This is rap for my niggas that pack, push packs
To the citizens, fakin' no jax and we militant
Straight up out the trenches
Young black and gifted
Slung sacks ridiculous, done that, you kiddin'?
160, but with a pen, I feel brolic
I can still knowledge, bang out hits like Phil Collins
Duck tail with the Starter cap, way before the rap
I was pullin' ho's, kickin' verses off the dome
Now I'm movin' up, I can't even front
Should be in the pen for all the shit I done did
But I'm livin' my life
[Hook]
[Verse 2:]
Yeah, you are now about the witness the strength of street knowledge
Give it to 'em
Knowledge increase it, college enroll
Captivity, leave it, keep dreamin', goals
Power, money, spend it with control
God, life, mind, body and soul
Reach one, teach one, young to the old
History's a mystery and lies were sold
Positive reality, luxury homes
Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Rolls
Royce's, racism, royalty, gold
Conflict diamonds, the world is cold
Niggas, bitches, freedom, senses
CPS infants, the future, the children
Addiction, supplements, hustlin', pimpin'
Fame, jealousy, pain, redemption
Politics, bullshit, ignorant content
Conscious nonsense, the mind is complex
Progress, the president, the people, the projects
Progress, the president, the people, the projects
Underage girls having seeds at the age of seventeen
Baby daddies signing up for the marines
Black streets filled with crack and pipe dreams
Fuck peace, niggas is purchasing red beams
P89s
Glocks
AR15s
It gets so hot, cops don't want to intervene
Cause they can get popped too, simple and plain
All the OGs dead, it's a new ballgame
A bunch of young guns in charge who ain't got heart
A few gave a listen to the lessons that was taught
Those who took heed was the ones who succeeded
The ones who didn't wound up sharing showers
The strong move silent
, the weak get devoured
Too many fake hustlers, the drug game is sour
Rather live like a animal than die like a coward
Writing lyrics in the midst of
powder lines
1989
Just trying to survive in these days and times
Just trying to survive in these days and times
Just trying to survive in these days and times
Cause where I'm from, brothers die everyday,
sunny CA
Understand the ecology on how we behave
Baseheads
, drive-bys, it's just how we was raised
Murder for capital
That's the mindstate that boosts the crime rate
Just lost soulds try'na find their way
Through this puzzle, every ghetto, N.Y. to L.A
Deep inside, I know it's time for a change, wish I could reach them
But I got both feet in the grave and still sinking
The environment'll drive you insane, flooded with demons
They motive is to get in your brain, make you a heathen
Even have you sniffing cocaine, slanging that reefer
I know a lot of niggas that pump, they claim they eating
They need to dumb it down, never seen a hundred thou'
Loudmouths with loose lips who unloyal
Fiends smoking out aluminum foil
Just to cope with life's ills, too much on my mind
Just trying to survive in these days and times
Just trying to survive in these days and times
Just trying to survive in these days and times
I swear, unity went out the window, what a shame
Back then we was all kinfolks, it ain't the same
I dream of that day when little kids can play in the streets
Not worried about getting hit by strays
Wish I didn't need herb to calm my nerves
Wish "peace" was more than just a five-letter word
It's hard to be optimistic
When you live on the same block as the killers who just got out of prison
Still walking with my head up, there got to be something better
Than this scene of police sirens and paramedics
That's my philosophy, you feel the same?
(*Prod. by Exile)
Remember, livin' in a trailer*
Cookin' dinner out a Crockpot or we would microwave it
Basic, television same seven stations
On a twelve-inch, I had to watch cable at the neighbors
Didn't know how broke we was 'til I got older
Never knew I had a father until he showed up
Out the blue, tryin' to get back with mama
Stepdad walks in, now here comes the drama
Had a couple of em, to be honest
Like William, Scott, they would always take me shoppin'
Ralphie and Mark, they would take me to the doctor
I call em all Daddy even though they didn't have me
Kids used to make fun of my clothes
'Til one of em got punched in the nose
Kinda like I was forced to be tough
Life as a shorty shouldn't be so rough, but hey
Even though, I'm young and I can't see
The forest from the trees, follow me
And when I'm grown, you know I'm bound to be
The H.N.I.C., follow me
Mama, I'll be alright, just let me do my thing
Followin' my dreams, this is me
First fight, third grade, I was swingin' from the shoulders
With this kid named Dariah, he was three years older
And like two feet taller, I finished it, he started it
All over this chick named Barbara Johnson
"Nonsense" I thought once the principal came
That fat lip really put a dent in my game
Never in my life have I felt such pain
Got sent home, but I held my own
Slept in every morning, it was like a vacation
How'd I make it to sixth grade graduation?
'Cause I was always ditchin', hung around with some misfits
With ADD, and they all smoked weed
Never read a piece of literature, wasn't good listeners
Never paid attention, so they hung 'round me
While my parents was out in the streets
I built my world on a blank sheet, just thinkin' in myself
Even though, I'm young and I can't see
The forest from the trees, follow me
And when I'm grown, you know I'm bound to be
The H.N.I.C., follow me
Check it out, hard to forget all the time I would spend
With my first fuck, even had me dodgin' my friends
Wore my heart on my sleeve at the age of fifteen
She would tell me that she loved me, it was all just pretend
She cheated on me, so it quickly came to an end
She put the blame on him, got played, I'll admit that
Hangin' with my friends, never called her again
Five years later, heard she had a kid, damn
I guess time flies when you're havin' fun
So enjoy life, you only get one
I love my childhood, despite the gunfire
I was quite happy growin' up in the slums
It wasn't too bad, havin' a few dads
The only thing I disliked was not havin' cash
What I'd give for a couple of bucks
I'm just a rap pure smoking ocb's out in Zurich...
Switch the lanes filigrams when I'm not in Europe, they love me through
Could even ask Fido, curly on got the market in the corner on the 12
Like my water with the gas in it can help it in passionate
I... graduate, school of hard knox if you grew up on the block
The... beyond hot, you niggers know it, street poet,.. corners and leaf throwing
Posters smoking no one police scoping, but look what happened I want it all over
Niggers... in it
With this I sway rocking with the genius everybody here
Body... in the creaming
I leave your motherfucker nagging on the ceiling, I'm a mixer
I... cutting kilometers... eager
... Amigas can't deny I was E god... plus I'm reside on the side, that's the meanest
Sorry she don't spend time on my penis, but I'm higher than Venus
Hottest than asbest, women get the dollars and probably enemy
I'm a get the swallow like... gets chilling with my...
... As I'm cruising to slow speed the only you come right out maneuver OJ's
Check it, I hit the skate park hit it, kids love me,.. Bart Simpson in real life
... still twice, I'm so... this loud nigger's mic, get a life, alright,
Think a second before you step in front of the mic
Some might be soar, down has stripes
But they swear stay here, yeah, yeah right
You don't need a Canon, a Kodak to understand that you know that
Three nigger, wassup?
Danny Mayor, wassup, my nigger chico?
With the city in the house, yeah
Feels good to be home
... over sea flight,..
... keep nigger at the right speed.
When she called I had a knife to my wrist
Feelin like life ain't make sense
See I just quit my job
Sick of flippin burgers, and livin in my aunts garage
So I just let it drain
Sittin here drownin' in a bottle of Jim B
Thinkin to myself she was posed' to be my queen
Feel like a bad dream
And I just wanna wake up, walked in the house
Caught some niggas diggin her out, him and the spouse
Remember when we first confessed we loved on another
I was cool with her paps, she was tight with my mother
Crazy as it sounds, I think I still love her
Enough to take my own life, left me with nothin but a broken heart
Suicidal thoughts, a twelwe inch blade, real real sharp
Phone still ringin, so I picked up the call
Let go of the knife, let it drop to the floor
Damn
[Chorus:]
When I am sleepin (Some days I don't even wanna wake up, wake up, wake up)
When I am sleepin, I can not keep the knife
When I am sleepin (Some days I don't even wanna wake up, wake up, wake up)
When I am sleepin, I can not keep the knife
When she called he had a knife to his wrist
Conseplatin if life made sense
See he just quit his job
Sick of flippin burgers, and livin in a garage
So he just let it drain
Didn't even check the caller ID
Thought about his girlfriend cheatin on him
He caught her in a bed with another woman
And another man, couldn't understand
How you could crush a persons heart, in the palm of your hands
Now he's depressed, even thinkin suicidal
Like how you going from a lover to a rival
Bottle of yack, knife on his lap
Death on his mind, matter of time before he just snaps
But he answers the phone
It's his mother on the other end, pleatin that he needs to come home
He puts the knife down, at the sound of her voice
Hesatating bout makin that choice
Wrong or right
That phone call might have saved his life
He said to himself
[Chorus:]
When I am sleepin (Some days I don't even wanna wake up, wake up, wake up)
When I am sleepin, I can not keep the knife
When I am sleepin (Some days I don't even wanna wake up, wake up, wake up)
When I am sleepin, I can not keep the knife
She could have been his wife, he could have been her husband
