Weissenfels Guest Farm is 110km on the C26, west of Windhoek on the way to the coast of Namibia. It is an ideal stopover on route to the Gamsberg, Solitair, Sossusvlei, Namib Naukluft Park and Walvisbay. Weissenfels has been a guest farm since 1992. It is owned by Winston Retief and Rosi Rohr since 2001 who currently run the guest farm and all related activities. Vortex Wellness Centre Stress and discomfort may be corrected and relieved through a series of natural therapies, offered right here at the Vortex Wellness Centre on Weissenfels Guest Farm. Silent Retreats We offer six day retreats in the Valley of Daha, giving you the opportunity to be silent in nature. The opportunity to really see the world and listen to the messages which are so easily lost in our life of turmoil. Silence proclaims the beauty and grandeur of life more eloquently than the tongue. Labyrinth The Labyrinth enables you to shed old disturbing thoughts and emotions. It quiets the mind. It is a place of meditation and prayer. You become more empowered to find and do the work you feel your soul is reaching for. The Labyrinth on Weissenfels was established in 2001 and has served numerous vistors (local and international) during the day and on full mooned nights with astounding results. Mama Temba’s Village Mama Temba’s Village is an extension to Weissenfels Guest Farm and is a concept created to maintain the natural beauty and ecology of the surrounding area. With exception to the the water reservoir that supplies the village with fresh and clean borehole water, the village is a rugged accommodation built entirely of recycled materials that were available on the farm. Built in and amongst the granite boulder outcrops, this rugged and adventurous dwelling features a braai kitchen (aka BBQ kitchen) nestled on the rocks with breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including the majestic Gamsberg and a waterhole that attracts an abundance of wildlife. There are 5 rustic rondavels, fully furnished, that sleep a total of 12 people. It is ideal for groups but individual bookings are more than welcome. There are two open air hot water showers and two long drop toilets. Campers are also more than welcome as there are beautiful spots to pitch your tents. The Cherubim Equestrian Centre & Stud A Breed of Excellence The Cherubim Equestrian Centre is a home based business located on Weissenfels, owned and operated by Winston Retief and Rosi Rohr. The Stud was founded in June 2001 and is one of the most reputable Studs of the breed Nooitgedacht. There is no unique formula for preparing a successful Stud. There is no perfect size or level of details. There is no single magic list of contents. There is not even a single ideal way of starting off. However, by understanding your goal and objectives, it is possible for any competent person to put together a very satisfactory Equine Business.
