Welcome to this Tutorial for Trend Micro Titanium. In this video, we'll teach you how to install a paid version of Titanium on your computer. There are a few ways to install a purchased copy of the program. You can use an the Installation CD included with your package or download the Installation package or a full version from the following website: www.trendmicro.com/titaniumhelp Once you've inserted the CD or downloaded the purchased product, double-click the Installation or Setup package. The Installer package will be mounted on your machine and opens the Trend Micro folder. Double click Install Trend Micro Titanium. If you are using an Installer package downloaded from the Trend Micro Website, a dialog appears, indicating the application is downloaded from the Internet and if you are sure you want to open the Trend Micro Titanium Installer. Click Open to start the installation. The installer will now check if the system is compatible. Click Continue. If your computer has passed the System Check, the Introduction screen appears. Click Continue. The License Agreement appears. In this screen, you can read the terms and conditions of the License Agreement. A checkbox to Help improve Titanium is also checked by default. Trend Micro recommends you leave this default setting. Click Continue. A popup appears, asking if you agree to the terms of the software license agreement. If you agree with the license agreement, click Agree. The Serial Number screen appears. Enter the serial number provided by Trend Micro in your box or in your confirmation email and click Continue. The Installation Type screen appears, indicating more information about the installation. Click Install. A dialog appears, asking for the username and password. Enter your username and password and click Install Software. The installation begins. This will take a few minutes. When complete, the Summary screen appears, indicating that the installation was completed successfully. Congratulations! You have just installed Trend Micro Titanium for Mac. If your browser was open during the install, a popup will appear, asking you to close your browser to enable the Trend Micro Toolbar. Click Quit Browser to close your open browser, then Close to close the installer. Titanium presents a window to Activate Your Protection. Enter your email address and click Next. If you have used this email address to activate Trend Micro software before,Titanium will activate and a screen will appear saying the Activation is complete. If you have not used this email address to activate a Trend Micro product before, a screen appears, asking you to Enter you Account Information. Type in your account information, read the Trend Micro Privacy Statement, then check "I have read and agree to the Trend Micro Privacy Statement" and click Next. A window appears, asking you to Check what You Entered. If you entries are accurate, click Next. A screen appears, indicating you Protection is Activated. Click Finish. Click the Close button to close the Titanium Console. In the installer window, click the Close button to close the installer. In the Finder, right-click the Trend Micro Titanium drive icon to eject it. This removes it from the Finder. For both Windows and Mac versions, it is highly recommended that you update your Trend Micro Titanium right after installation to gain the latest protection. Simply click the Titanium icon on your menu bar and click Update now. Note that, moving forward, Titanium will automatically update itself whenever necessary. This concludes this tutorial.
