Scandinavia is a historical cultural-linguistic region in northern Europe that includes the three kingdoms of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, characterized by their common ethno-cultural heritage and related languages. Modern Norway and Sweden proper are situated on the Scandinavian Peninsula, whereas modern Denmark is situated on the Danish islands and Jutland. The term Scandinavia is usually used as a cultural term, but in English usage, it is occasionally confused with the purely geographical term Scandinavian Peninsula, which overlaps with Scandinavia. Sometimes the term Scandinavia is also taken to include Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Finland, on account of their historical association with the Scandinavian countries. Such usage, however, may be considered inaccurate in the area itself, where the term Nordic countries instead refers to this broader group.
The southern and by far most populous regions of Scandinavia have a temperate climate. Scandinavia extends to the north of the Arctic Circle, but has relatively mild weather for its latitude due to the Gulf Stream. Much of the Scandinavian mountains have an alpine tundra climate. There are many lakes and moraines, legacies of the last glacial period, which ended about ten millennia ago.
Johan Magnus Glans (born April 9, 1974, in Eslöv, Sweden) is a Swedish stand up comedian and TV actor. He started doing stand up comedy in 1994 and has worked on Swedish TV with David Batra. He is often featured in SVT's Stockholm Live and TV4's Parlamentet. He has at numerous times been called "Sveriges Roligaste Man", in English meaning "Funniest Man in Sweden". The only other Swedish comedian who have been called by this name is Robert Gustavsson.
Richard "Rick" Steves (born May 10, 1955, Edmonds, Washington) is an American author and television personality focusing on European travel. He is the host of the American Public Television series Rick Steves' Europe, has a public radio travel show, Travel with Rick Steves, and has authored various location-specific travel guides.
Steves started his career by teaching travel classes at his alma mater, University of Washington, and working as a tour guide in the summer. At the time, he also worked as a piano teacher (his father had owned a piano store). In 1979, based on his travel classes, he wrote the first edition of Europe Through the Back Door (ETBD), a general guide on how to travel in Europe. Steves self-published the first edition of his travel skills book ETBD in 1980. Unlike most guidebook entrepreneurs, he opened a storefront business, which at first was both travel center and piano teaching studio. He held travel classes and slide shows, did travel consulting, organized a few group tours per year, and updated his books. He did not provide ticket booking or other standard travel agency services. He incorporated his business as "Rick Steves' Europe Through the Back Door." The store was in Steves' hometown of Edmonds, Washington (a city north of Seattle). The company's headquarters are still in Edmonds.

You made us wonderful
You made us wonderful
Leaving on an aeroplane
in the mood of april rain
The one and only
fills your heart
when you are lonely
We played a show with great routine
so many faces we have seen
and sometimes
you wonder
was just a dream
Chorus:
The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen
turns to gold in the morning sun
We are gently flying in from Asia
‘Cause we belong in Scandinavia
We all prepare for landing now
Watching the blue sky with no clouds
The cabin crew
takes a photograph
standing next to us
Chorus:
The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen
turns to gold in the morning sun
We are gently flying in from Asia
‘Cause we belong in Scandinavia
You made us wonderful
You made us wonderful

The sun meets the ocean
in a world of gold
Extending the shadows
speaking in bold
Your face in the clouds
is leaving no doubt
There are still songs to sing
you came to pull my strings
Take my heart and keep it with you
Show me love is someone real
Take my life and make it simple
Touch me now and make me feel
When I hear your whisper in my ears
I know you're the one to catch my falling tears
Take my heart and keep it with you
Show me love is someone real
Take my life and make it simple
Touch me now and make me feel
Uhhh don't ever let it go
Uhhh even when the wind gets cold
Nobody knows just how much you mean to me
Nobody knows and I gotta let it show
