Bean is a 1997 British-American comedy film based on the popular ITV comedy Television series Mr. Bean, which was written by and starring Rowan Atkinson as the title character. The main plot follows Bean entrusted to oversee the transfer of priceless painting Whistler's Mother from a gallery in London to a museum in the United States. In the process, a number of unfortunate mishaps see Bean inadvertently break up a marriage, annoy an American policeman and accidentally destroy the painting, although a shrewd plan results in these mistakes being rectified. The film was written by Atkinson and Richard Curtis and was directed by Mel Smith, all of whom originally worked together on Not the Nine O'Clock News. Its working title was initially Dr. Bean, based on a misunderstanding which forms part of the plot of the film.
Plot
Ryan struggles to find meaning in his provisional existence, exploring sex and death and the idea of 'becoming something.' This surreal film, enveloped in a classical string quartet piece, is a rumination on death, time, and the nature of existence. It posits the idea of a human life as a static, four-dimensional entity that exists at a specific moment in time and cannot be said to truly begin or end.
Plot
Three seemingly anonymous high school seniors attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough - let's throw a party that no one will forget, and have a camera there, to document history in the making. But nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born.

You're still mad. I get it. But if you are talking to me about my next birthday, I'd really like to spend it with just you.::Kirby: You're... [She kisses him]::Thomas: So we're cool again?::Kirby: I never said you were cool. [They hug. Thomas motions for Dax to stop filming]
