ACTIVE SERIES 7 OR 79 REQUIRED, OPNLY APPLICANTS MEETING THIS CRITERIA WILL BE CONSIDERED
This role will focus on Managing investment banking project execution as a team leader. The ideal candidate will have extensive previous financial analysis experience and has worked on deals in the $200mm-$500mm range.
Responsibilities:
•Primary focus will be infrastructure project finance, but might participate in other type of investment banking deals.
•Planning, execution, control, and closing of projects.
•Participates on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client pitches to transaction closings.
•Oversees work being performed by analysts and associates assigned to specific projects, and ensures quality of client deliverables.
•Participates in pre-engagement activities including: identification of proper stakeholders to execute project, performs preliminary due-diligence, does action plans, and assists in elaboration of commercial offers and engagement letters.
•Leads team in structuring of investment banking deals including: definition of project action plans / critical paths, development of complex financial models, teasers, executive summaries, information memorandums, business plans, management presentations, term sheets, due-diligence of data rooms, identifies sources of funds, and develops marketing plans in conjunction with other areas within the organization.
•Participates in marketing of investment banking deals including contacting sources of funds and granting access to data rooms, conducting walk through of financial model with capital providers, conducting management introductions and roadshow.
•In the negotiation phases, assists the managing directors in securing terms sheets from investors, and negotiation of terms.
•Participates in the closing of the transactions.
•Good management skills and experience managing client relationships.
•Team player and team builder.
Job Requirements:
•Minimum of 5 years in project management , financial management or related analysis experience within the investment banking industry, including performing research and valuation analysis, debt and equity offerings or financing, M&A;, executing capital markets transactions, monitoring relevant transactions and economic information, preparing client-specific financial models, and building and maintaining relationships with corporate and financial sponsor clients.
•Demonstrable experience in executing and managing deals involving debt/equity transactions, preferably in Latin America.
•Proven negotiation and closing skills.
•Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
•Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to compose compelling arguments and to create visually appealing marketing materials and presentations.
•Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
•Clear knowledge of financial modelling, projection of financial statements, and financial analysis of projects.
•Fluent in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
•Fluent in English, Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
•Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects.
•Series 79 & Series 63 & 7 licenses.
•Provide list of transaction experience .
