Avelino B. Lim, Jr. (born April 1, 1962), better known as Samboy Lim, is a former basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association. As a shooting guard, the iconic Lim distinguished himself with Magic Johnson-like ball handling skills and Julius "Dr. J" Erving leaping and dunking abilities, he is best remembered as a player who would leap towards the basket, switch the ball from one hand to the other while in mid-air, and finish off with a dunk.

In the early 80s, former San Beda Red Cub Samboy Lim, played heads up college basketball in Letran in the NCAA and led the Knights win three straight NCAA seniors championships from 1982 to 1984, under the able leadership of Coach Laurentino "Larry" Albano. This "3 Time Winning" Letran Knights team surpassed the success of the 1950 team, emerging from the championship having won nine games out of ten.

In the amateur league during 1986, Lim played for Lhuillier in the Philippine Basketball League, then known as the Philippine Amateur Basketball League. His hardcourt presence in the PBL games resulted in a sell out crowds and jampacked audiences. With Lhuillier, Lim teamed up with another future PBA star, Jojo Lastimosa and they led their team to the PABL championship.

Jolina Magdangal-Escueta (born Maria Jolina Perez Magdangal, November 6, 1978) is a Filipina actress and singer. She is mostly known to be a pop icon. During the 1990s, she was mostly known as a household name of ABS CBN as part of the weekday afternoon children gag variety show Ang TV which was known as a homegrown show with the most talented young actors. She was cast on the '90s Saturday afternoon TV series Gimik with ex-leading man Marvin Agustin from 1997 to 2000. Her last TV series with her home network was Labs Ko Si Babes (1999–2000) a primetime weekday sitcom with Magdangal as the main character.

Her popularity was mostly known for her success in business. In the fashion industry she is known for having her own doll inspired by her in designs; it was known as the "Pinoy Barbie of the '90s" and had rapid sales. She has a mezzo-soprano three octave voice.

In 2002, she was part of GMA-7's Sunday variety show SOP. In 2003, Jolina Magdangal moved to rival station, GMA 7. The network was revamped in 2003 with more primetime TV series; she was part of the primetime soap Narito Ang Puso Ko from 2003 to 2004. She was also part of the weekend afternoon drama Kahit Kailan.

Vice Ganda (born March 31, 1976) is a Filipino stand-up comedian, television host and actor. He is best known as the main judge on ABS-CBN’s talent show It's Showtime and the host of Gandang Gabi, Vice!.
He is declared as 43rd Box Office Entertainment Awards, Phenomenal Box Office Star & Male Concert Performer of the Year, in the year 2012.

He is also known for his lead roles in commercially successful films Petrang Kabayo and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin which became the highest-grossing film in Philippines.

He gained popularity for his comic routines, for which he uses observational comedy on typical “Pinoy” lifestyle and his use of situational irony and sarcasm when reacting to Filipino culture & behavior and human sexuality. He is the first openly gay endorser for a major product in the Philippines, which is Globe Telecom in the Philippines.

Vice, Jose Marie Viceral, is the youngest of five children. He grew up in the neighborhood of José Abád Santos Street in Manuguit, Tondo, Manila. His father, a barangay captain, was murdered when he was young prompting his mother to work as a caregiver abroad leaving them by themselves. He obtained his college education at Far Eastern University studying Political Science. Around the age of 19, Vice was writing and performing his stand-up comic routines in comedy bars in Ermita, Manila.
