Damn the machine the system's corrupted
Abusive power is everywhere
Our elected officals, pass laws to help
But who's paying them off
And in the end, we the people pay
Such a heavy price, just for being alive
And if this country was really free
We'd make paper from hemp and let the forest live
But corporate America, and billion dollar industries
Have so much power
Yet they stand to lose
Too much fucking money
There's nothing we can do... but...
Take back all that we've lost
At any price that it costs
Our freedom was worth fighting for
Resistance now or nevermore
Solo: James
And what about the CIA
What the fuck is their real job anyway
Starting civil wars in Third World countries
Importing heroin from the far east
Talk about cocaine, neither kept away
From the youths of today... now
There's nothing we can do... but...
Take back all that we've lost
At any price that it costs
Our freedom was worth fighting for
Some say it's wrong
But I don't know when
I'm unaware of things I said then
Never watch my mouth
I wish I knew the things that I'm not supposed to say
Because it changes everyday
Don't wanna talk
I can't get my foot out
Look where you step
There's too much judging
And I can't hang
But I 'm a hypocrite cuz I constantly complain
Political correctness makes me sick
They took a good idea and twisted it
Bandwagon prophets are what you see
Another fucking program for MTV
Political correctness makes me sick
They took a good idea and twisted it
There's too much judging
And I can't hang
But I 'm a hypocrite cuz I constantly complain
Political correctness makes me sick
They took a good idea and twisted it

you know, what pisses me off more than anything is all these people who
aren't exactly politically correct. like the other day, i was out walking
my siberian-american huskies. and you know how canines are: they like to
sniff everything, including each other's butts. so some guy walks up and
he says, "get your dog's ass out of that other dog's nose!"
so, i replied, "how dare you call them dogs! they're siberian-american
huskies. that's like calling an african-american a black. or calling a
mexican-american a mexican. or calling a homosexual a stupid faggot!" it
pissed me off so much i got a nose ring, died my hair blue and moved to
san francisco!
my bus is broken down
my spirit's broken too
my girl's by my side
so i don't feel so blue
thirty miles more
to make it to the city
where junk is king
and the air smells shitty
what a friendly town
it really suits us well
it took some getting used to
that fucking hippy smell
everyone corrects me
every time i speak
i'm sick and fucking tired
of feeling like a stupid l.a. geek
i like it
i like it
i like it
i like it, yes i do
i say it's not an issue
it doesn't shed much light
on a global scale
it isn't worth the fight
the tongue that girl speaks
is forked to you and me
that bitch has got a problem
