Disabled objects within space naturally become encased with space matter. Mars unusual moon Deimos would be my first look into the possibility of being a alien space vessel which over millions of years had become entomb by space matter. Then I would begin to systematically select such other possible objects throughout space and look at them in the same fashion. Space is a hostile environment and any given foreign object placed in space by alien means would ultimately become encased in the fabric matter produced by space. It is a very realistic and very reasonable scenario given the fact that everything in space consist of organic rock covered material substances. So here we are again with Gerone Wright being the first person of this world to place science on a true path to discover a alien vessel. Gerone Wright

Top Documentary Films // THE SECRET STORY OF PLANET MARS. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second smallest planet in the Solar System, after Mercury. Named after the Roman god of war, it is often described as the "Red Planet" because the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance. Top Documentary Films // THE SECRET STORY OF PLANET MARS Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the volcanoes, valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Mars are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. Top Documentary Films // THE SECRET STORY OF PLANET MARS Mars is the site of Olympus Mons, the second highest known mountain within the Solar System (the tallest on a planet), and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons. The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 40% of the planet and may be a giant impact feature. Mars has two moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are small and irregularly shaped. These may be captured asteroids, similar to 5261 Eureka, a Martian trojan asteroid. Top Documentary Films // THE SECRET STORY OF PLANET MARS

Hi. Note: I know what I am trying to do is not realistic at all so forgive me. The equipment in the game is for Mars, not the moon so I am tinkering around with how I could make things work. If you have any ideas by all means take part in this, I will like to hear from you. Well since the Moon has no atmosphere to speak off, and since we have a small atmosphere processor which would be useless in this enviroment, I decided to let the drill take care of it all. I decided to edit the Deimos.loc file, and I assigned the minerals to be found only in the ground which makes the atmosphere processor not required unless someone knows how to edit the properties of the processor itself, and have that process the minerals drilled from the moons surface, and have it pump in directly into structures. I just copy & pasted this (below) from another worlds .loc file into the Deimos file, and changed how the minerals are extracted. Just a bit odd that I didn't die because I have been known to push my head into things, fall out of open doors, and be crushed by tires. Anyway, it appears that it works so far. Let me know what you think.

Take a spectacular trip to distant realms of our solar system to discover where secret forms of life may lie hidden. Combining the latest telescope images with dazzling animation, this program immerses audiences in the sights and sounds of alien worlds, while top astrobiologists explain how these places are changing how we think about the potential for life in our solar system. We used to think our neighboring planets and moons were fairly boring—mostly cold, dead rocks where life could never take hold. Today, however, the solar system looks wilder than we ever imagined. Powerful telescopes and unmanned space missions have revealed a wide range of dynamic environments—atmospheres thick with organic molecules, active volcanoes, and vast saltwater oceans. This ongoing revolution is forcing scientists to expand their ideas about what kinds of worlds could support life. If we do find primitive life-forms elsewhere in the solar system, it may well be that life is common in the universe—the rule, and not the exception.

WHY PHOBOS AND DEIMOS AND NOT MARS DIRECTLY? - First step/precursor mission before going to Mars surface (step-by-step, Apollo approach) - Explore its origin - 1 month short stay mission (total 541 days travel) instead of long 1 year stay mission (more than 1000 days travel suggested by NASA DRM5) - Phobos, may be peppered with material from Mars itself (source: http://spacecoalition.com/blog/mars-moon-phobos-may-hold-red-planet-materials?doing_wp_cron) - FASTER: less technology development required - BETTER: simplicity, no landings only orbit maneuvers - SAFER: No gravity (microgravity only) and escape velocity - Works as radiation protection for the crew and equipment during the surface exploration - CHEAPER: than any Mars mission - Only 2 Heavy lift launches and 1 medium lift would be required to complete the mission, - Designed for 3 astronauts - Sample collection and delivery to Earth - Total spaceship mass (Habitat, Engines, Propellant,..) in Earth's orbit would be less than 150 MT - The best departure date for the first launch is on 9/19/2021 - Total Mission duration: 541 days (return to Earth on 3/14/2023)

Lehigh Valley 2015-04-17Deimos ( /ˈdaɪməs/ DY-məs; also /ˈdiːməs/ DEE-məs; Greek: Δείμος; also DAY-moce or DEE-moce) is the smaller and outer of Mars's two moons (the other being Phobos). It is named after Deimos, a figure representing dread in Greek Mythology. Its systematic designation is Mars II.
Deimos was discovered by Asaph Hall, Sr. at the United States Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C on August 12, 1877, at about 07:48 UTC (given in contemporary sources as "August 11 14:40" Washington mean time, using an astronomical convention of beginning a day at noon, so 12 hours must be added to get the actual local mean time). Hall also discovered Phobos on August 18, 1877, at about 09:14 GMT, after deliberately searching for Martian moons.
The names, at first spelled Phobus and Deimus, were suggested by Henry Madan (1838–1901), Science Master of Eton, from Book XV of the Iliad, where Ares (the Roman god Mars) summons Dread (Deimos) and Fear (Phobos).
Deimos, like Mars' other moon Phobos, has spectra, albedos and densities similar to those of a C- or D-type asteroid. Like most bodies of its size, Deimos is highly non-spherical with dimensions of 15 × 12.2 × 10.4 km. Deimos is composed of rock rich in carbonaceous material, much like C-type asteroids and carbonaceous chondrite meteorites. It is cratered, but the surface is noticeably smoother than that of Phobos, caused by the partial filling of craters with regolith. The regolith is highly porous and has a radar estimated density of only 1.1 g/cm³. The two largest craters, Swift and Voltaire, each measure about 3 kilometres across.
The Moon is the only natural satellite of the Earth, and the fifth largest satellite in the Solar System. It is the largest natural satellite of a planet in the Solar System relative to the size of its primary, having a quarter the diameter of Earth and 1⁄81 its mass. The Moon is the second densest satellite after Io, a satellite of Jupiter. It is in synchronous rotation with Earth, always showing the same face; the near side is marked with dark volcanic maria among the bright ancient crustal highlands and prominent impact craters. It is the brightest object in the sky after the Sun, although its surface is actually very dark, with a similar reflectance to coal. Its prominence in the sky and its regular cycle of phases have, since ancient times, made the Moon an important cultural influence on language, calendars, art and mythology. The Moon's gravitational influence produces the ocean tides and the minute lengthening of the day. The Moon's current orbital distance, about thirty times the diameter of the Earth, causes it to appear almost the same size in the sky as the Sun, allowing it to cover the Sun nearly precisely in total solar eclipses.
