Barcelona
Barcelona (/bÉ‘Ë?rsəˈloÊŠnÉ™/, Catalan: [bəɾsəˈlonÉ™], Spanish: [barθeˈlona]) is the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain and Spain's second most populated city, with a population of 1.6 million within its administrative limits. Its urban area extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 4.7 million people, being the seventh-most populous urban area in the European Union after Paris, London, Madrid, the Ruhr area, Berlin and Milan. It is the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea, located on the coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Besòs, and bounded to the west by the Serra de Collserola mountain range, the tallest peak of which is 512 metres (1,680 ft) high.
Founded as a Roman city, in the Middle Ages Barcelona became the capital of the County of Barcelona. After merging with the Kingdom of Aragon, Barcelona continued to be an important city in the Crown of Aragon as an economical and administrative center of this Crown and the capital of the Principality of Catalonia. Besieged several times during its history, Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and is today an important cultural center and a major tourist destination. Particularly renowned are the architectural works of Antoni Gaudà and LluÃs Domènech i Montaner, which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean is located in Barcelona. The city is known for hosting the 1992 Summer Olympics as well as world-class conferences and expositions and also many international sport tournaments.

Barcelona, Venezuela
Barcelona is the capital of Anzoátegui State, Venezuela and was founded in 1671. Together with Puerto La Cruz, Lecheria and Guanta, Barcelona forms one of the most important urban areas of Venezuela with a population of approximately 950,000.
History
Unlike Puerto La Cruz, which was mostly built in the 20th century, Barcelona has a mish-mash of historical and modern architecture from its several years of growth and development. The settlement of Nueva Barcelona del Cerro Santo (English: New Barcelona of the Holy Mountain), was originally established by the Spanish conquistador Joan Orpà (a native of Piera, Catalonia in Spain). It was later re-founded and populated by governor Sancho Fernández de Angulo two kilometres from the original settlement, and by a small community of Catalan colonists around 1671. Barcelona was one of the provinces under the governmental authority of the New Andalusia Province (Nueva AndalusÃa, or New Andalusia), and referred to commonly as New Barcelona. One of the remaining buildings of this period is the Museo de Anzoátegui, considered the oldest building in the city.

Barcelona (album)
Barcelona is an album recorded by Freddie Mercury, frontman of popular British rock band Queen, and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé. Released in 1988. It is the second and final solo album recorded by Mercury.
After Barcelona was selected to host the 1992 Summer Olympics, Mercury was approached to write a song as a theme for the forthcoming games. The idea was to create a duet with Montserrat, as she is from the city. He had been a long standing admirer of her and she in turn grew to respect his talents very highly. They decided to work on an album together, with Mercury and Mike Moran taking the creative lead as songwriters. Mercury and Moran made and sent her tapes of the music with Mercury singing in falsetto as a guide vocal for Montserrat's parts. As they rarely had an opening in their schedule to meet, her parts were recorded at another location.
A special edition of the album was released on 3 September 2012. It features a new version of the album with the previous instrumental tracks replaced with new, live symphonic orchestration and percussion rather than synthesisers and drum machines. The new edition also has a new unique album cover.

Barcelona es una ciudad muy grande anteriormente fue fundada como NUEVA BARCELONA ,pero actualmente Nueva Barcelona queda junto a la ciudad de Barcelona, eso se lo mostrare en otro video si Dios quiere.
El dia a dia del Venezolano es salir diariamente por sus familias aun tenemos a PDVSA trabajando a medias pero esta supermercados comercios ,no les voy a negar que no es lo que era antes pero quedamos Venezolanos aun echandole pichon a la vida por esta ciudad y por el estado Anzoategui para llevarle el pan a nuestros hijos ese es el dia a dia de esta ciudad.

This wonderful 1987 video, capturing Freddie Mercury's unforgettable collaboration with Spanish opera diva Montserrat Caballé, accompanied the very first single from the 'Barcelona' album (which was to follow a full year later). This unexpected and unlikely merging of talent took the world by storm, and this was the first of three singles released from the album. The Director was David Mallet and it was filmed at Pinewood Studios in London. The single was released in the UK on 26th October 1987.

On 29th May 1987, a huge festival was held on the island of Ibiza, at a venue called Ku Club. Titled 'Ibiza '92', the event was held to celebrate Spain hosting the Olympic Games in 1992. Along with many other artists, Freddie appeared with Montserrat Caballé to showcase the song they had been working on - seventeen months before it was released as a single.

He was the ultimate showman, but he kept his private life away from the prying eyes of the media; a larger than life rock star who loved disco, classical music and ballet. He was a restless spirit, a true chameleon who revelled in his own contradictions.
All the different sides of this iconic musician can be found on Freddie Mercury: Messenger Of The Gods - The Singles. All formats released September 2nd 2016.
On 29th May 1987, a huge festival was held on the island of Ibiza, at a venue called Ku Club. Titled 'Ibiza '92', the event was held to celebrate Spain hosting the Olympic Games in 1992. Along with many other artists, Freddie appeared with Montserrat Caballé to showcase the song they had been working on - seventeen months before it was released as a single.

The 2024/25 season is well and truly under way. This Thursday, the first team squad trained for the very time under new head coach Hansi Flick, the day after taking medical and fitness tests at the Ciutat Esportiva. Today they took to the Tito Vilanova field for their first day of actual training.
These were the same set of players that took the routine tests on Wednesday, although the injured Alejandro Balde, Julián Araujo, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong worked in isolation on their respective recoveries.

After a double session on Thursday, there was more training for the FC Barcelona players who have reported back for duty this Friday morning. The players who are quickly getting used to life under Hansi Flick worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva, where the injured Gavi, Julián Araujo, Balde and Frenkie de Jong continued their recovery programmes on the same pitch.
There will be two further session on Saturday and one more on Sunday, with the main focus being the trip to the United States, which is just two weeks away.

Hola mis amigos muchos lo pidieron y nos fuimos a recorrer la Ciudad de Barcelona Estado Anzoategui Venezuela a ver como es el dia a dia de los Venezolanos en esta ciudad oriental.
Recorrimos diferentes calles como, la Av Cajigal, El Avion, el Casco Colonial, El Casco Central,Boulevard 5 de Julio,La Plaza Bolivar, AV INTERCOMUNAL entre otros , La idea es mostrarle o enseñarles como se encuentra dicha ciudad en AGOSTO del 2023 ya que hay muchos paisanos venezolanos que emigraron a otro pais por la situacion , de igual forma como podran ver aunque se a ido mucha gente igual sigue movida la ciudad de Barcelona, todos los comercios abierto tratando de vender algo ya que las ventas y la situacion esta un poco dificil, buhoneros comida rapida etc.
Barcelona es una ciudad muy grande anteriormente fue fundada como NUEVA BARCELONA ,pero actualmente Nueva Barcelona queda junto a la ciudad de Barcelona, eso se lo mostrare en otro video si Dios quiere.
El dia a dia del Venezolano es salir diariamente por sus familias aun tenemos a PDVSA trabajando a medias pero esta supermercados comercios ,no les voy a negar que no es lo que era antes pero quedamos Venezolanos aun echandole pichon a la vida por esta ciudad y por el estado Anzoategui para llevarle el pan a nuestros hijos ese es el dia a dia de esta ciudad.

En España, cerca de 25 mil venezolanos se han registrado para votar, y para ello se han habilitado varios centros de votación en Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo, Bilbao y Tenerife. En nuestro paÃs, los colegios electorales están abiertos desde las 6:00 am hora local y cerrarán a las 18:00 siempre que no haya personas en la fila.
Muchos de ellos han denunciado dificultades para votar en estos comicios. Cerca de 69.000 venezolanos podrá votar fuera del paÃs, una cifra muy por debajo de los cerca de ocho millones de personas que calcula ACNUR, que residen.

This wonderful 1987 video, capturing Freddie Mercury's unforgettable collaboration with Spanish opera diva Montserrat Caballé, accompanied the very first single from the 'Barcelona' album (which was to follow a full year later). This unexpected and unlikely merging of talent took the world by storm, and this was the first of three singles released from the album. The Director was David Mallet and it was filmed at Pinewood Studios in London. The single was released in the UK on 26th October 1987.

This lovely footage was filmed at La Nit festival at Montjurich Castle in Barcelona on 8th October 1988, by Gavin Taylor. 'The Golden Boy' was the second single to be released from the 'Barcelona' album. See also the beautiful 'Barcelona' and 'How Can I Go On', also filmed at this event. This single was released in the UK on 24th October 1988.

This is a rare version where Freddie Mercury sings the song 'How Can I Go On' from the album 'Barcelona' solo without Montserrat Caballe who was on this track in a duo with Freddie on the Barcelona album. Freddie always had one amazing voice which you can hear here.
How Can I Go On' was the third and last single to be released from the 'Barcelona' album. The live performance was filmed at La Nit festival at Montjurich Castle in Barcelona on October 8th 1988, by Gavin Taylor.

Freddie Mercury was a man of many talents and many different sides. The songs he wrote for and with Queen filled stadiums around the globe and have rightly gone down in history, but he also embarked on a solo career that took him from the clubs of Munich and New York to the great opera houses of the world.
He was the ultimate showman, but he kept his private life away from the prying eyes of the media; a larger than life rock star who loved disco, classical music and ballet. He was a restless spirit, a true chameleon who revelled in his own contradictions.

On 29th May 1987, a huge festival was held on the island of Ibiza, at a venue called Ku Club. Titled 'Ibiza '92', the event was held to celebrate Spain hosting the Olympic Games in 1992. Along with many other artists, Freddie appeared with Montserrat Caballé to showcase the song they had been working on - seventeen months before it was released as a single.

'Barcelona' was the first single to be taken from the album of the same name, in October 1987. You can see the original David Mallet video elsewhere on this channel. This alternative footage was filmed at the open air La Nit festival at Montjurich Castle in Barcelona on 8th October 1988, by Gavin Taylor.
