The Hutt News, New Zealand's Best Community Newspaper as judged at
the 2005 Qantas Media Awards, represents everything that is best in
local news. Circulating over 43,452 copies to Lower Hutt, Petone,
Eastbourne, Wainuiomata, Stokes Valley, Naenae, Taita, Normandale,
Maungaraki, Kelson the newspaper (founded in 1928) has a very proud
history.
Nielsen CMI Survey (Q2 2012 - Q1 2013) found that the Hutt News has
an average issue readership 15+ of 72,000. Dominating the area with both
advertising and local news, the Hutt News continues to maintain its No.
1 position in the local market.
Newspaper Display Advertising
Display advertising is
located throughout the publication and utilises size, colour,
illustration and typography to attract the reader's attention. Display
advertising is primarily found in the editorial sections but can also be
placed within classified sections if deemed appropriate and relevant.
You
can request a preferred position within the newspaper for a fee or
choose "run of paper" whereby the advertisement is placed in any
position in the paper at our discretion. Opting for run of paper
generally results in a reduced charge to an advertiser.

Classifieds are advertising only
pages across a number of different categories e.g. for sale, trade
services or situations vacant.
Inserts - $68.25 per thousand commission bearing.
