Kapiti Observer
Kapiti's most credible, timely and accurate source of community
information is The Kapiti Observer. Published every Thursday
this colourful, informative tabloid circulates to nearly 25,000 homes and
businesses in Pukerua Bay, Paekakariki, Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Otaki, Te
Horo and Raumati.

The Kapiti Observer's mixture of hard news, features, topical
advertising and reader feedback has kept it as the market leader during
its 50 years of publication. Nielsen CMI Survey (Q2 2012 - Q1 2013)
found that the Kapiti Observer had an average issue readership 15+ of
41,000.
Newspaper Display Advertising
Display advertising is located
throughout the publication and utilises size, colour, illustration and
typography to attract the reader's attention. Display advertising is
primarily found in the editorial sections but can also be placed within
classified sections if deemed appropriate and relevant.
You can
request a preferred position within the newspaper for a fee or choose
"run of paper" whereby the advertisement is placed in any position in
the paper at our discretion. Opting for run of paper generally results
in a reduced charge to an advertiser.
