The Sunday Star-Times is New Zealand's only national broadsheet newspaper with a readership of 367,000. Sunday Star-Times
is a newspaper which breaks and backgrounds stories of national
significance, at the same time providing a quality leisure read for an
audience which has time to take it in. It could best be described as
adult, contemporary, relevant and newsworthy.
Its seven sections: News, Sport, Focus, Business, Culture, Escape and Sunday
magazine allow defined targeting to a range of key demographics with
particular strengths in the middle to upper socio and income levels.
This sectional format is one of the most attractive and effective
attributes. Each section has a strong and immediately recognisable
identity.

The Sunday Star-Times has invested substantial resources to
produce a truly national newspaper. It is based in Auckland with news
