The Central South Island Farmer South is a specialised
stand alone publication delivered through the Herald Communities.

manufacturers, retailers and service providers to reach their specific
market.
Advertisers cover the rural delivery across our two communities
(Waitaki and South Canterbury regions) to reach 8,100 homes. With news
and features covering dairy, cropping, sheep, cattle, farm machinery and
a variety of other subjects of interest to local farmers.

North Canterbury/Selwyn District, through The Northern Outlook and
Central Canterbury News. An Advertising package called "Southern Combine
Advertising Pack" also includes the Otago Southland Farmer and you can
effectively reach 49,527 Rural mail boxes (see rate card for details (PDF 787.2KB)).
Newspaper Display Advertising
Display advertising is located
throughout the publication and utilises size, colour, illustration and
typography to attract the reader's attention. Display advertising is
primarily found in the editorial sections but can also be placed within
classified sections if deemed appropriate and relevant.
You can
request a preferred position within the newspaper for a fee or choose
"run of paper" whereby the advertisement is placed in any position in
the paper at our discretion. Opting for run of paper generally results
in a reduced charge to an advertiser.
