Central Districts Farmer

The Central Districts Farmer is delivered on the first Friday of each month, directly to every property on rural delivery in the eight regions of the central and lower North Island from Featherston to Ohakune.

The Central Districts Farmer is the dedicated rural publication of the Manawatu Standard covering rural stories from local, national and international sources, moving messages deep into the heart of the rural regions of Wanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu, Horowhenua, Kapiti, Wairarapa, Southern Hawkes Bay and Southern Taranaki.

Reporting on topics as diverse and rich as the area we serve, including dairying, beef, sheep and arable farming, through to diversification such as forestry, fishing, organics and exotic breeds.

We like to inform our rural readers of new trends and developments that affect people on the land and those with the country at heart.
