Lakshman Sen

Lakshman Sen (Bengali: লক্ষ্মণ সেন; reign: 1178–1206) was the last king of the Sen dynasty of Bengal. His reign ended with the invasion of Muhammad bin Bakhtiyar Khilji. He ruled for about 28 years. Lakshman Sen succeeded his father Ballal Sen. The history of his reign can be reconstructed from the epigraphs of his time so far discovered. Besides the writings of Umapati Dhar, Sharan and the book Tabaqt-i-Nasiri is helpful for collecting information about him. He was the ruler of entire Bengal. He defeated King Jaychandra. The capital city of his kingdom was at Bikrampur. He was interested in literature and wrote due part of Adbhut Sagar, a book incompletely written by his father.

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan, 2 November 1965), also known as SRK, is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. Referred to in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned numerous accolades, including 14 Filmfare Awards. Khan has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide. In terms of audience size and income, he has been described as one of the most successful film stars in the world.

Khan started his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, and the Government of France awarded him both the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Légion d'honneur.

Zayed Khan

Zayed Abbas Khan (born 5 July 1980) is an Indian actor and producer who appears in Hindi films. He is known for his performance as Lakshman a.k.a. Lucky in Main Hoon Na, Aditya Singh in Dus, Vikky Khanna in Fight Club - Members Only, Danny Yuvvraaj in Yuvvraaj, and as Sam/Aditya in Blue.

Early life

Khan's parents are former Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan and interior designer Zarine Khan. Sanjay Khan's real name is Abbas Khan and he is a Muslim, while Zarine is a Parsi (Zoroastrian) by birth. Zayed, who was raised as a Muslim, is the youngest of four children and the only son of his parents. His older sisters are Simone Khan (married to Ajay Arora), Suzanne Roshan (ex-wife of actor Hrithik Roshan), and Farah Khan Ali (married to DJ Aqeel). Khan is the nephew of late actor Feroz Khan and director Akbar Khan (brothers of Sanjay Khan) and first cousin of Bollywood actor, Fardeen Khan, son of Feroz Khan.

Khan attended Welham Boys' School, Dehradun, and later Kodaikanal International School, Kodaikanal, with childhood friend Esha Deol and Mallaika Parekh. He studied Business Management at the Montgomery College and Film Making at London Film Academy.

Amrita Rao

Amrita Rao (pronounced [əmriːt̪a ːraːʋ]) is an Indian film actor and model. She has appeared in Hindi films of Bollywood and a few films in Telugu. Rao was born and raised in Mumbai; she made her screen debut in Ab Ke Baras (2002), for which she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award in 2003. One of her most popular roles was in the romance film Vivah (2006).

Rao's roles in Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008) and Main Hoon Na (2004) earned her a Stardust Best Actress Award and a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award nomination respectively. She has made special appearances in Heyy Babyy (2007), Shaurya (2008), Life Partner (2009) and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (2010). She has been called "Bollywood's quintessential girl next-door" by various media outlets.Times Of India named Rao one of its "50 Most Desirable Women of 2011."

Early life

Amrita Rao was born in Mumbai. Her father Deepak Rao owns an advertising agency. Her younger sister Preetika Rao, is a model and a southern film actor. Rao attended school at Canossa Convent Girls School and graduated from Sophia College with a psychology degree. Rao describes her family as a "very conservative family—a traditional, Hindu, Indian family" and herself as very liberal. Her native language is Konkani; she also speaks Marathi, English and Hindi.

Jayam Ravi

Ravi Mohan (born 10 September 1980), better known by his stage name Jayam Ravi, is an Indian film actor in the Tamil film industry. Ravi has appeared in films including Jayam, which has since become part of Ravi's stage name, M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi, Unakkum Enakkum, Santhosh Subramaniam, Peranmai, Thani Oruvan and Bhooloham .

Background

Ravi was born to Mohan of Tirumangalam, Madurai, who was trained by Senthil Kumar Vajjiravelu editor of South Indian cinema and Varalakshmi. He has two siblings; his elder brother M. Raja is a noted film director, with most of his films featuring Ravi in the lead role, while his sister Roja is a dentist. He completed his schooling at Jawahar Vidyalaya in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. He studied dancing under the Bharatnatyam dancer Nalini Balakrishnan and performed his arangetram at the age of 12. After completing his degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, he decided to get into the film industry. He has also trained in acting at the Kishore Namit Kapur Institute in Mumbai.
