Poco is an Southern California country rock band originally formed by Richie Furay and Jim Messina following the demise of Buffalo Springfield in 1968. The title of their first album, Pickin' Up the Pieces, is a reference to the break-up of Buffalo Springfield. Highly influential and creative, they were pioneers of the country rock genre. Throughout the years Poco has performed in various groupings, and is still active today.

During recording of the third Buffalo Springfield album (Last Time Around), each of the three lead singers (Stephen Stills, Neil Young and Richie Furay) recorded songs without the other members present. One of Furay's solo songs was the country-influenced ballad "Kind Woman", which he recorded with the help of producer/engineer/bassist Jim Messina and pedal steel guitarist Rusty Young. When Buffalo Springfield then split up, Furay, Messina and Rusty Young decided to start their own group oriented toward such songs.

The original lineup of this new group was Furay (vocals and rhythm guitar), Messina (lead guitar, vocals, producer), Rusty Young (pedal steel guitar, banjo, Dobro, guitar, mandolin and vocals), George Grantham (drums and vocals) and Randy Meisner (bass and vocals). The group was signed to a recording contract with Epic Records, which acquired the rights to Furay from Atlantic Records (the Springfield's label) in return for the rights to Graham Nash from the Hollies (who was moving to Atlantic as part of Crosby, Stills & Nash). Originally, the new group was named "Pogo" after the famous comic strip character, but it had to change its name when Pogo creator Walt Kelly objected to their use of the name and threatened to sue. "Poco" in Spanish and Italian means "little" or "un-", as "poco importante", and is also a musical term meaning "a little" or "by small measures".

Javid David Álvarez Fernández (born December 13, 1989 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico) known artistically as J Alvarez is a Puerto Rican reggaetón singer.

Javid David Alvarez Fernandez was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on December 13, 1983. When Alvarez was 12 years old he took the microphone to sing in front of several of his classmates and teachers, his first ever song "Lo Que Ella Trae" (What She Brings). Paying respect to reggaetón artist that he listened to from the reggaetón genre including Tego Calderon. Then, through his cousin, he met with DJ Nelson, and soon quickly emerged a working chemistry between the two. He was then signed to Flow Music in 2009.

Edgar Ricardo Arjona Morales, (born 19 January 1964, in Jocotenango near Antigua, Guatemala), known as Ricardo Arjona (Spanish pronunciation: [arˈxona]), is a Guatemalan singer-songwriter and former basketball player and school teacher. In 1993, he received the Rafael Álvarez Ovalle Order from the then President of Guatemala, Ramiro de León Carpio, for his international merits. Arjona began his music career in 1985 at age 21, when he released Déjame Decir Que Te Amo. He rose to prominence in 1989 with his sophomore album Jesús, Verbo No Sustantivo, which garnered him media attention and moderate success.

After joining Sony Music in 1990 he released, in 1993, his fourth album Animal Nocturno, which gained him significant popularity throughout the United States and Latin America, and paved the way for subsequent albums Historias, Si El Norte Fuera El Sur and Sin Daños a Terceros. In 1999 he released his first live album Vivo, which garnered him his first number-one hit on the Billboard Latin Songs chart, "Desnuda". In 2005 he released his tenth album, Adentro, which won both a Latin Grammy Award and a Grammy Award. In 2008, he abandoned Sony Music and signed a record deal with Warner Music, through which, the same year, he released his eleventh studio album, 5to Piso. In 2011, after 26 years within the music sphere, Arjona independently founded his own record label, Metamorfosis, through which he released his thirteenth studio album, Independiente, in 4 October 2011.

Octavio Rivera (born 1986) better known by his stage name Toby Love, is a Puerto Ricanbachata musician. Love is known for performing a style of bachata music that combines traditional and urban singing and production.

Toby Love was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. While his mother is Puerto Rican Parents.

Toby Love was a originally a backup singer for the bachata band Aventura before beginning a solo career with his 2006 LP, Toby Love, released on Sony Records. In 2008, he received four nominations to the Billboard Latin Music Awards for songs included in his debut album. Love won awards for two categories, Tropical Airplay Song of the Year, and Latin Rap / Hip Hop Album of the Year.

Toby Love is recognized as the artist that made the subgenre of crunkchata popular. As the result of having recorded half of his debut album in Miami, Love became a fan of crunk music, and incorporated it into his bachata music.

Love produces the majority of the music used in his albums, along with co-producer Eddie Perez.
