Es orientiert sich stark am Serienteil A Link to the Past und setzt dessen Handlung einige Jahrhunderte später fort. Zu neuen Spielelementen der Zelda-Reihe, die in A Link Between Worlds anzutreffen sind, zählen die Funktion, die Spielfigur in ein Graffito zu verwandeln, sowie ein neues Item-System, das dem Spieler mehr Entscheidungsfreiheit gewährt. Im Spiel herrscht zudem die Vogelperspektive vor. Für die Entwicklung von A Link Between Worlds war das Studio Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development unter der Regie von Hiromasa Shikata verantwortlich. Die Planungen zum Spiel begannen direkt im Anschluss an die Vollendung von Spirit Tracks, dem vorherigen Handheld-Teil der Serie. Die eigentliche Entwicklungsphase startete Ende 2011. Mit einem Metascore von 91 von 100 Punkten gilt A Link Between Worlds als eines der besten 3DS-Spiele. Die Fachpresse hob insbesondere die Rätsel sowie den Spielfluss und das Spieltempo positiv hervor, während manche Publikationen Kritik an der Grafik und an der starken Ähnlichkeit zu A Link to the Past übten. Nach dem Urteil mancher Kritiker führt das Spiel Innovationen in die Zelda-Reihe ein, ohne die Traditionen der Serie zu vernachlässigen. Und doch fielen die Meinungen der Fachpresse bezüglich dieser Neuerungen eher gemischt aus. Bis März 2014 hat der Hersteller laut eigenen Angaben zweieinhalb Millionen Exemplare des Spiels verkauft.

Info confirms CIA link to Paris attack

The new information has almost confirmed that Paris attack was a false flag operation carried out by the CIA, says Soraya Sepahpour Ulrich, an independent researcher and writer based in Irvine, California. According to The Associated Press, one of the men responsible for last week's terrorist attack that killed 12 people in the French capital claimed to have lived with the Nigerian man behind the failed al-Qaeda “underwear bomb” plot five years ago, Yemeni Journalist and researcher Mohammed al-Kibsi who met Said Kouachi, the alleged Paris attacker, said on Monday. In a phone interview with Press TV on Tuesday, Ulrich said, “The whole Paris incident has been a puzzle for many... and one has to find connections to find what really is going on.” “We have been told by the mainstream media, the Western media, that a Yemeni reporter has claimed that he had interviewed Kouachi who was responsible for the Paris attack, or one of those who were responsible,” she said. “And he had ties with ‘the underwear bomber’, ‘the underwear bomber’ who was held responsible for wanting to blow up an airliner at Christmas in 2009,” Ulrich added. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was convicted of attempting to detonate plastic explosives hidden in his underwear while on board Northwest Airlines Flight 253, en route from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan. “Well, it so happens that the mainstream media here is so busy turning up this information that they turned to forget the very information they gave us in the first place. For example, in 2012, we were told that ‘the underwear bomber’ was in fact working with the CIA intelligence and with the Saudis,” she pointed out. US and Yemeni officials told The Associated Press in May 2012 that the so-called underwear bomber was in fact working under cover for Saudi intelligence and the CIA when he was given a new non-metallic type bomb aimed at getting past airport security. Ulrich said it iss important to mention that the so-called underwear bomber slipped past the security “when Israeli intelligence was in charge of the Amsterdam airport -- [its] security.” She added that intelligence officials failed to scrutinize the bomb and helped the bomber get on the plane, which “indicates to me that they all were aware of this individual’s job.” “Six or seven months ago, the UK airport security supposedly received a warning from the US intelligence… that al-Qaeda terrorists were going to attack airports and airliners using a new generation of non-metallic bombs developed by them in Syria and Yemen,” Ulrich said. “What is really very alarming for me is all this information, or misinformation we are getting,” she stated. “We have to understand who gain from” all this. A spate of violent incidents, including the attack at the Paris office of controversial magazine Charlie Hebdo, left at least 17 people dead last week in the French capital. Two days after the Charlie Hebdo attack, Said and Cherif Kouachi, suspects, were killed after being cornered at a printing workshop in the French town of Dammartin-en-Goele. “So at the end of the day, we have to understand who is gaining by all these alleged attacks,” Ulrich emphasized. People are not being told the truth; they are “told a bunch of lies that are supposedly not connected and somehow when they do get connected we trace it back to the intelligence services, like the CIA.” “So we have to be very alert, and do not forget what we read yesterday in order to absorb what we are reading today and connect the dots ourselves,” she warned. “I mean many have had doubts about the veracity of the incident in Paris. Many had thought it to be a false flag operation. And now with this new information they are feeding us and tying [it] to the underwear bomber who worked for the CIA, it has virtually established the fact that it was indeed a false flag operation,” Ulrich concluded. Although this time we on a racetrack instead of on a battlefield. Mario Kart 8 recently launched for the Wii U (May 30th...My Birthday!) and we came to the conclusion that it was a game that needs to be recorded simply because of the constant stream of Shenanigans that plagues the series and its players. There will be lots of laughs, lots of frustrations, and lots of bullshit. We hope you enjoy...we know we slightly did hah. The series will also receive very little editing (Much Like the Worms Series) Just trimming the lobby time to get the next games going as fast as possible...and if you happen to be reading this description...I hope that's okay. Actually...if your reading this, include the word "Koopa" in your comment. I'd like to know haha Mario Kart originally came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in the early 90's and even from a young age it was one of my favorites. Now, I never had a SNES, but my aunt did...and let me tell you...between Mickeys Quest, Super Mario World, and Mario kart...I was really hoping my aunt would adopt me, that is how much I adored this game haha. A lot has changed since it's inception though...there are even a lot of changes from the previous 3DS title as well. (Mario Kart 7) One thing that I have realized is that the game now puts an emphasis on actual racing instead of the items. Which is good and bad. Since there are a lot of cart customization options, no two people will ever be on equal ground essentially meaning that some Karts will just be down right superior. Also, No longer can you be in last place and still make it to the top spot just by getting a few items. You need to memorize the maps, and hope an almighty shitstorm reigns upon first place because items generally seem less potent. Meaning...if you're stuck in last...you'll probably be finishing in last. There also seems to be some item inbalances as well. The Star Power is absolutely useless, while bullet bill is overpowered to an extreme. I'm hoping a patch comes out to balance some things after Nintendo gets feedback, but knowing Nintendo...that wont happen Still, this isn't meant to be a super realistic racing game, it's meant to be a fun and silly experience, and I feel they definitely nailed that. World leaders link arms in Charlie Hebdo solidarity

More than one million people gathered in Paris today to stage a defiant march alongside world leaders in a moving tribute to the 17 terror victims. British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande were among the global leaders and dignitaries taking part in the march. Meanwhile US Attorney General Eric Holder was is in the city along with other security ministers for talks about the threat posed by Islamist extremism. The politicians stood arm in arm to lead the march, which was preceded by a declaration from Mr Hollande that 'today, Paris is the capital of the world'. Giant letters attached to a statue in the Place de la République spelt out the word ‘Pourquoi?’ (‘Why?’) and small groups sang the national anthem. As many as 1.5million people flooded Paris for the march today, while 600,000 rallied in towns and cities around France outside of the capital. Other noted world leaders in the city included German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko and Italian PM Matteo Renzi.
