Promises, Promises
This is a short animated film of my final year project called "Promises, Promises". it is done using a majority of AE puppeting and some hand drawn animation. it's about the importance of making promises.
The characters' animation is made by mainly AE puppeting plus hand drawn animation. All the scenes are being set up using AE as well, no Maya nor 3D max was used in this animation.
INSPIRATION AND IDEA
The story is inspired by my personal experience when I was still a child. My mum promised me to buy a gundam model for me when I got a high score in the coming exam and I did it. Therefore, I got the gundam.
However, what I think is what if my mum didn’t do what she had promised. Although it is not a big deal, to children, it is.
One more thing I want to mention is every person will have the chance to do things wrongly but the most important thing is whoever you are, you should apologize to others.

A girl is killed on the way home from the city's hottest subculture nightclub. Burnout detective Alex Taylor is assigned to investigate, but the case soon becomes more complex than expected. The death links to a drug derived from a fungus, Ergot: the real poison behind the Werewolf myth.
The club owner tells Alex nothing; but one of the regulars takes Alex under his wing. At first Alex is appalled by this alternative lifestyle, but the more Alex experiences, the more he is seduced. But then more deaths occur, and soon Alex faces a greater dilemma than he ever feared...
