Phillip Hugh Norman Rudd (born Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecuis; 19 May 1954) is an Australian drummer. He is best known for his membership of rock band AC/DC from 1975 until 1983, and again from 1994 to present. After the 1977 departure of bass guitarist Mark Evans, he became the only Australian-born member of the band. In 2003, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members of AC/DC. He is currently living in Tauranga, New Zealand.

Rudd played in several bands in Melbourne before joining Buster Brown with future Rose Tattoo vocalist Angry Anderson. They went on to release one album, Something To Say, in 1974 but Rudd left for a brief spell in the Coloured Balls with Lobby Loyde. During 1974 he was told about AC/DC's rhythm section auditions by his former Coloured Balls bandmate Trevor Young. He asked Buster Brown bassist Geordie Leach to accompany him, but Leach refused. Rudd tried out and was hired immediately. He fitted in with the band very quickly and contributed his solid drumming style to great effect on the string of albums recorded from 1975 to 1983. The band relocated to the UK in 1976 and followed a heavy schedule of international touring and recording.

The High Court was an American pop punk band from Mount Holly, New Jersey. They released one full studio album, Puppet Strings in 2007, before disbanding in June 2008.

The High Court's name is an alternate acronym for THC, the psychoactive substance found in marijuana. The group formed in 2005 from the ashes of several local metal acts. Members Lou Cuello, Kyle Shellhammer, and Denny Carvell placed an ad for a singer on Craigslist, and formed The High Court after John Brown answered the ad. They signed to I Surrender Records and released their debut album, Puppet Strings, in mid-2007. The group played the Warped Tour to support the album. Lou Cuello left the group in September 2007.in late 2007 and early 2008 they toured with 2*Sweet, Fireworks,Bedlight for Blue Eyes and Asteria.The High Court disbanded in June 2008.the band stated that some of the members are going to be starting other projects in the future.

Angus McKinnon Young (born 31 March 1955) is a Scottish-born Australian guitarist best known as a co-founder, lead guitarist, and songwriter of the Australian hard rock band, AC/DC. Known for his energetic performances, schoolboy-uniform stage outfits, and his popularization of Chuck Berry's duckwalk, Rolling Stone magazine has ranked Young as the 24th greatest guitarist of all time. In 2003, he and the other members of AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Angus Young, the youngest of seven children of William (1911–1985) and Margaret Young (1913–1988), was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He dropped out of school at 15. In 1963, he emigrated to Sydney, Australia, with his parents, older brothers Malcolm and George, and older sister Margaret. Older brother, Alex, remained in Scotland and would later form the London-based group, Grapefruit.

Angus first started playing on banjos but re-strung them with six strings. Angus first started playing guitar on a cheap acoustic model purchased second-hand by his mother. Angus's first Gibson SG was bought second-hand circa 1970 from a music shop just down the street from his home:

Chris Slade (born Christopher Rees, 30 October 1946, Pontypridd, Glamorgan, South Wales) is a Welsh rock drummer.

Slade has worked with Gary Numan, Tom Jones, Olivia Newton-John (as co-members of the band Toomorrow), and Uriah Heep. He was a member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1972 to 1978. In the early 1980s, Slade played with Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page in The Firm. He has played with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and Gary Moore on his 1989 world tour.

Slade probably received his highest exposure in 1989 when he was asked to join the Australian hard rock Band AC/DC after their then-drummer Simon Wright had departed. AC/DC were signed to the same management company as Gary Moore who Slade had just finished touring with. The Young brothers (Angus and Malcolm) initially hired Slade only temporarily through management, then asked him during the recording of the only album he made with them, to join the band. Slade played on The Razors Edge album in 1990 and the accompanying world tour, and the "Big Gun" single released in 1993. The Young brothers, however, asked Slade to leave after four years with the group and reinstated former drummer Phil Rudd, saying that Rudd had demonstrated a "groove" more fitting their style of rock.^{[citation needed]}
