[Intro: sample]
"Wanna see the world, ain't scared to do it
Even if, your shocked by it
Me and you, lost when you do it
By myself, better off bein' you"
[Intro: Method Man]
Smoke cess nigga, smokin' that A.K
Norther lights, yeah.. stick 'em!
Uh, ahhh, baby, you know it like a poet, baby doll
Yeah, yeah, crooked letter in, uh uh, S.I., better
known as the crooked letter I
Come on! Self Service
[Method Man]
Y'all know me since '93, now let that weed burn
Back in this bitch, class dismissed, it's the return
Of the super sperm, game over, lose a turn
Takes a germ to kill a germ, when will y'all killas learn
Your only as good as your last hit
Soon as you put them automatics on safety that's it
I calm them bastards, I call them ratchets
Till you blasted, till y'all come ashes to ashes
We make classic, huh, bring you a rougher sound
You either up or down, don't get that ass kicked
Ya'll niggaz fuck around, y'all only tough around
The crowds, scared to bust a round, don't get that ass kicked
What part of the game is this?
I came to break bread, evidently y'all killas came to bitch, nigga
So, whose the whipped nigga, don't even trip, nigga
Some say they pull trigga, I think they bullshitter
I just begun to fight, if mommy like daddy talk
Then daddy might get him some tonight
Give me, my limelight, give me, my five mics
Give me, some weed and a light to get my mind right
Is he, the illest M.C., to ever play the tough city
To find out it'll cost you bout a buck fifty
Across your face swiftly, my after taste shitty
Whose built by New Yitty, whose milked like two titties
And I ain't even got to say my name
I got this duck wit her legs up like, "say my name, trick"
You think it's all a game, like pussy all the same
I'm speakin' toilet slang, not seakin' hall of fame
It's raw, sushi, stain in your drawers, dooky
Quarter a Lucy, quarter more for a groupie
That like to pop snoopy, think she gon' pop coochie
Just cuz you got Gucci, don't mean you not hoochie
Girl, I tell it like a T-I-N
Ain't no other kids eatin' till I feed my kids
Trick, oh, you ain't crushin', sister, I can't do nothin' wit you
My money's celebate, honey, and we ain't fuckin' wit you
I do it for the nookie, some say I'm too pushy
Only thing better than pussy, that's some new pussy
There that go, looky, it's gettin' ugly even
With niggaz so broke, they couldn't spend a lovely even
[Outro: Method Man]
Yeah, that's it
Yeah, Method Man has just left the muthafuckin' building
This love has taken a turn
My maps are no good now
I'm lost in these woods
I say, Black Mountain show me your face
Bring on the oblivion of your sweet embrace
I say, this love has taken a turn
Where we go now, I can't wait to learn
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
I'll show you free tonight
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
You are my diamond of grace
Angelic little devil of the most secret space
I say, there ain't no one quite like you, girl
You save your nectar for the wise
While you smile at the world
I say, you make me laugh at myself
You take me straight to Heaven
By going straight through Hell
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
I'll show you free tonight
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
I'll show you free tonight
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
Free, yeah
If you want to walk with me
Then leave that false innocense behind
If you want to know me tonight
Then drag me to the river and hold me tight
If you want to love like a god
You got to bleed like a god
You got to fight like a god
Let go of who you are
Cling to me now
Cling to me now
Here we go
Here we go, yeah
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
I'll show you free tonight
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
I'll show you free tonight
Show a little love to me
Show a little love to me
Darlin', I'll show you free
Yeah, I'll show you free
Show a little love to me
Show a little love
Standing in the spotlight
Listening to the crowd
Screaming for his insides
Wantin him to let it out
But can they handle what they want?
Can they handle what they get?
There's a creature coiled inside
Been wantin out 3 hundred thousand years
Hits one lick on his guitar
Holds it to the ground
Tryin to kill every livin thing
A hundred miles around
Your Momma warned you about this
Your Daddy bought a gun
But there is no turning back
Once the show has begun
And there's Jesus the promoter
Standing in the wings
Waiting on some cocaine
An twidlin with his rings
He's got a black gospel hairdo
Haloed in the light
Like he could walk on water
If his shoes just weren't so tight
And Magdalina the groupie
Just OD'd on the bus
But she seems kind of stupid
So Hey what's all the fuss?
But someone called the police
Now they're out drivin her around
Trying to cop up some feels
Before they take her downtown
And soundman Izzy Judas
Squats way up in the booth
Smokin ganja like some Buddha
In his quest for the truth
And all their is is highs
Izzy's fingers on the board
Got his 30 piece of silver
Throws a kiss out to the Lord
Ah standing in the spotlight
Listening to the crowd
Hits one lick on his guitar
Holds it to the ground
Tryin to kill every livin thing
A hundred miles around
Your Momma warned you about this
Your Daddy bought a gun
There is no turning back
Jamie Adenuga that's me, confessed I'm the best I'm a don,
I been shoppin' spendin' P, and I heard lady sing man song,
You might see me with President T, dun know, we call him ching chang chon,
'Cause he cuts up rocks with scissors, and makes paper, that's what big man's on,
Bruv, when I'm out spending cash, I might run into some local scruff,
And they start showin' off, true say they don't see JME on road too tough,
On some ediot childish hype, showin' off all they white bone and stuff,
Take a look at me rudeboi, you don't see paper, but I'm holdin nuff,
[Chorus:]
Everywhere I go,
I see the same bro's,
They lookin' at me funny,
Yeh, there puttin' on a sho-ow, sho-ow
No wonder why they make no dough,
[x2]
Area Watford, me and Skeps,
Sam an' Ez get searched on the steps,
All pat down and a metal detector,
Incase mans got a shank in their crepes,
Straight downstairs, straight to the bar,
No space for order, it's a par,
While I paitiantly wait, one guy always wants to screwface,
Ediot,
I'm not afraid of him cause I pump up tone up weights in the gym,
I don't know what this guys thinkin',
All I know is he's not blinkin',
A girl taps him shoulder,
He turns round, smiles, starts drinkin,
I don't understand, there's bare girls but he's on some badman ting...
[Chorus:]
Everywhere I go,
I see the same bro's,
They lookin' at me funny,
Yeh, there puttin' on a sho-ow, sho-ow
No wonder why they make no dough,
[x2]
How many people are gonna tell me that JME's not reppin the ends,
Shut ya mouth you stupid speng,
I was representin' in year 10,
Whinchmore uniform Heat FM,
So, I don't wanna hear no bullshit again,
I live on the north of the LDN,
But I represent the north and south of the Thames,
And the left to the right,
Bruv, I represent anyone who has lived the street life,
So no-one chat to me,
Cause before I Mc'd,
No-one used to chat to me,
But now you think your a real goon,
You ain't even made one real tune,
Shut ya mouth stop lyin' to me,
I don't know who your tryin' to be...
[Chorus:]
Everywhere I go,
I see the same bro's,
They lookin' at me funny,
Yeh, there puttin' on a sho-ow, sho-ow
No wonder why they make no dough,
Everywhere I go,
I see the same bro's,
They lookin' at me funny,
Yeh, there puttin' on a sho-ow, sho-ow
No wonder why they make no do-o-ough,
Sho-ow, Sho-ow,
Sho-ow, Sho-ow,
Ya make no Do-ow-ow-ow-ow-ough...
Lights go out on Sunset Blvd
Never trust a town to tell you who you are
I'm gonna love you ‘til it kills me
Love you ‘til I'm outta my head
How's that for devotion baby?
Nobody here still believes in “til death”
And if we break through the night
It won't feel right
I never wanted you unsatisfied
Shake to the sin
Keep pulling me in
I never wanted you to cry again
If we fight ‘til the dawn
Tell me what's wrong
I never wanted you to feel alone
I'm never ever gonna know
If you don't show
Lights go down on everything we know
Never trust a city when your blood's gone cold
But I'm gonna love you ‘til it kills me
Love you ‘til I'm blue in the head
How's that for devotion baby?
Nobody here still believes in “til death”
And if we break through the night
It won't feel right
I never wanted you unsatisfied
Shake to the sin
Keep pulling me in
I never wanted you to cry again
If we fight ‘til the dawn
Tell me what's wrong
I never wanted you to feel alone
I'm never ever gonna know
If you don't
Gimme all your lovin'...
And if we break through the night
It won't feel right
I never wanted you unsatisfied
Shake to the sin
Keep pulling me in
I never wanted you to cry again
If we fight ‘til the dawn
Tell me what's wrong
I never wanted you to feel alone
I'm never ever gonna know
If you don't show
I'm never ever gonna know
If you don't show
I'm never ever gonna know
Let the show begin
It's a sorry sight
Let it all deceive
Now I'm
Pains in me that I've never found
Let the show begin
Let the clouds roll
There's a life to be found in this world
And now I see it's all but a game
That we hope to achieve
What we can
What we will
What we did suddenly
But it's all just a show
A time for us and the words we'll never know
And daylight comes and fades with the tide
And I'm here to stay
But it's all just a show
A time for us and the words we'll never know
And daylight comes and fades with the tide
I live with the ghosts
Upstairs on the fifth floor
I give away most of my cares but they walk out the door
I guess that it's time
To give up all those bad ways
And realize
All that counts is our good days
Show yourself
Come on and show yourself
Show yourself
Come on and show yourself
I guess it all depends on you
I guess that it's time
To get up and find a good place
Where I can see beauty and find eternal grace
But I don't know where you are
And I can't cope
I don't even know
Who you are, but your my only hope
Show yourself
Come on and show yourself
Show yourself
Come on and show yourself
I guess it all depends on you
I guess I could pretend it's you
Show yourself, why don't you
Show yourself, why don't you
Show yourself, why don't you
Show yourself, why don't you
Show yourself...
Let the show begin
It's a sorry sight
Let it all deceive
Now I'm
Pains in me that I've never found
Let the show begin
Let the clouds roll
There's a life to be found in this world
And now I see it's all but a game
That we hope to achieve
What we can
What we will
What we did suddenly
But it's all just a show
A time for us and the words we'll never know
And daylight comes and fades with the tide
And I'm here to stay
But it's all just a show
A time for us and the words we'll never know
And daylight comes and fades with the tide
I'm up against the wall when you come home
I'm up against the law when you lose home
There's only one thing I need to know
What would you take away if I said no?
Count the hours, need more time
Won't you give another sign?
Call me up I want to know
What would you take away if I said no?
What would you take away if I said no?
When you're caught a riot, caught in a storm
When you're losing your head, when you're out in the zone
Got a promise to keep, going back to the bone
What would you take away if I said no?
What would you take away if I said no?
When you're caught a riot, caught in a storm
When you're losing your head, when you're out in the zone
Got a promise to keep, going back to the bone
What would you take away if I said no?
What would you take away if I said no?
