Cristiano Ronaldo is debated to be the best in the world at football, and a second straight Ballon D'or award only strengthens that argument. Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer fell short of FIFA’s most prestigious award. “The Portuguese earned 37.66 percent of the votes, while Messi edged Neuer, 15.76 to 15.72 percent, for runner-up.” “This season, he has scored a remarkable 26 goals in 16 games in La Liga and an additional five goals in six Champions League games.” - http://es.pn/1u0c3Qd Leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Many of them, like this Yazidis community in Zakho, are still living in temporary accommodations and camps enduring harsh weather and fearing the coming cold. Now, they are also at risk of going hungry as funding for WFP’s aid operations in Iraq runs out at the end of December. WFP is appealing for US$29 million to provide the displaced Iraqis with food from January to March 2015.

Since the upsurge in violence in June, WFP has provided food assistance to more than 1 million Iraqis.

North Korea suffered a massive Internet blackout on Monday - taking all state agencies and media offline for several hours. The US declined to say whether it\'s responsible - in light of the row over the humiliating hack attack of Sony Pictures which Washington blames on Pyongyang. It\'s another tantalizing twist for American media which has slowly become obsessed with the small Communist country. RT\'s Marina Portnaya has more.
