Wrong drink to order.
Suspicion grows,
wrong situation...
Oh, no-one knows where you've gone to
in the pagan night
and the neon reflections
spread cadmium white.
You came here looking for something
but this wasn't it, quite.
Hey, take a Polaroid, exit,
and well you might.
Sign the picture, get out of the frame;
sign the picture, and throw it away.
Sign the picture, sign the picture,
throw the picture away.
Now she turns her attention
and her camera on you:
this could be all of the moments
that you'll ever live through,
oh, but your heart beats the rythm
of primeval tattoo...
I hear you make your excuses
as you usually do.
Sign the picture, get out of the frame;
sign the picture, and throw it away;
Sign the picture, sign the picture,
throw the picture away...
... although it's going to come back.
You've got a certain knack
of making of such things
Far from here, a house forsaken
On lands of yesterday
The silence of the night has crept in
As weeping of the women
As thoughts of solitude
As sadness and as grief
In a dim deserted room
A token left on the table
A talisman, a hairbrush from his father
Oozing from the shaft
A stream of bitter sap
Dripping scarlet flow, so slow
They know it to be an emblem of death
A sign of destruction
They recognize the end of a friend
The agony of a man and son
They look at the brush
Remember the black hair
They weep a bitter sap
Oozing from the shaft
A stream of bitter sap
Dripping scarlet flow, so slow
Bristles weeping wet
To a pool of red

I've got a nightmare.
It is the presentiment which pursues us.
Where is the stars´ way, where do you on lead up to? What can I see?
I'm waiting for the sign, for your sign.
I wander through the golden valley in my dreams,
The ancient trees enchanted my eyes.
Let the heart guide me in this scenery.
But what is the purpose of my way, what I am looking for?
I can see the ruined palaces and huts,
The time stopped here.
I spend my dream times here alone.
But where are the stars that lead my steps?
I can see several golden grapes and the ancient tree
Illuminated by the star, I stand there alone, dumb.
Is it still a dream or reality?
Maybe I am being immortal
The time passes, but the gleam is preserved
The sign of the stars is given.
I'm reading through the mysteriuos book of magic,
I can feel it's power,
There is no other way there, only one on the way back.
The magic of rebirth creeps,
Somewhere between the clouds I've finally seen a good sign
All of the sudden what was dark now became so bright
But you are asking me if weed took me higher
Or maybe what I saw was God? (cha!)
The point is not what I saw and I am not liein'
You wont understand without triein'
Under the stormy surface my mind is always quiet
Instead of chasing happiness I've found it in my life
Still you are asking me if weed took me higher
Or when I wrote it was I drunk?
The point is not what I did and I am not liein'
You wont understand without triein'
All I know sometimes we have to stop
Let our mind take a shape of a drop
Scrumble out of this devolish trap
All I know sometimes we have to stop
To take a look inside of our mind
oh oh whoa
hey yeah yeah
i saw a sign of your actions
this is not a complaint
but things have seemed to changed
as of everyday
maybe in a good way
how do you feel?
ima take things slow
but from here to go
but i never really knew
that you would act like this
it started out liking you
had no clue from the began
there was a sign
there was a sign
there was a sign on this road
there was a sign
there was a sign
but i dont know if you you know
it was you
it was you
it was you i saw
on the sign
on the sign
on the sign, yeah yeah
it crossed my mind
at first that you could have been
the one for me
but then i didnt know
that i would feel this way
before it didnt last to be
they wearnt a part of me
but if this feeling is true
then you know truth dont lie
it is kind of a clear veiw
i dont know if i am on your mind
there was a sign
there was a sign
there was a sign on this road
there was a sign
there was a sign
but i dont know if you you know
it was you
it was you
it was you i saw
on the sign
on the sign
on the sign, yeah yeah
some people try to tell me that
i would soon get over this feeling
but they dont know the truth inside me, inside
this feeling seemed to last
since that day that something changed
if they only knew the truth inside me, inside me
there was a sign
there was a sign
there was a sign along this path
there was a sign
there was a sign
while this feeling seemed to last
it was you
it was you
it was you i saw
on the sign
on the sign
on the sign
yeah yeah
yeah yeah
covered by the white sweep of the sky
waiting for sleep
to flood my eyes
all what I'm looking for...
listening to the whispers of the wind
glad to be here and not out
on a limb
oh what I'm looking for...
is a visible sign of an invisible world
