#GPS A tricky landing on a Cessna Citation 2 in bad IFR conditions but on a strip with no radio instruments (no localizer, no glide slope, no vor, no ndb). I used GPS to line up with the magnetic heading of the runway as best I can but that can be off by a few degrees. This is one of those landings you'd do in a flight simulator but in real life you would just go somewhere else.

this is a visual approach going into aspen. the the video starts right around the turn from ELWAY intersection then towards red table DBL. With the airport in sight cleared for the visual. When cleared for the visual coming from this direction you are told to make your base turn prior to DBL, which gives you plenty of time to set up and land. I get the plane configured for landing, flaps and gear just passing the runway. Start descending at probably 2500fpm and made the base turn inside of about a 5 mile final. The sovereign does this no problem. This video also shows where to park and how the ramp is run. enjoy
