The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is the agency of the United States government that is responsible for the nation's civilian space program and for aeronautics and aerospace research. Since February 2006, NASA's mission statement has been to "pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research." On September 14, 2011, NASA announced that it had selected the design of a new Space Launch System that it said would take the agency's astronauts farther into space than ever before and provide the cornerstone for future human space exploration efforts by the U.S.
NASA was established by the National Aeronautics and Space Act on July 29, 1958, replacing its predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA). The agency became operational on October 1, 1958. U.S. space exploration efforts have since been led by NASA, including the Apollo moon-landing missions, the Skylab space station, and later the Space Shuttle. Currently, NASA is supporting the International Space Station and is overseeing the development of the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and Commercial Crew vehicles. The agency is also responsible for the Launch Services Program (LSP) which provides oversight of launch operations and countdown management for unmanned NASA launches.

(Staring at the window panes)
(Russian roulette with some names on the phone)
When I stare at your face, are you even alive?
(Oh my god, you're so fucking intelligent)
(Don't you just love the use of Andy Warhol?)
We always knew that we were never the best advocates
And it's okay
If I'm gray today
(Holy fuck I'm impressed)
(Too bad I don't have a pussy to plunge in)
(While I sit here and stomach this)
(Here's a noble prize, lets gamble our demise)
Staring at the window paint
Russian roulette with some names on the phone
Hey you, where you from?
Never mind just leave me alone
(I drained the wells so the town has no water)
(I cut the phone lines and buried the grain)
(I drained the blood from the fortunate ones)
(It's self destruction 'cause we're all the same)
"Hurry up, trade in your gold for cash."
That's what everyone's saying
(Don't blame me for post economical backlash)
That's what everybody's doing
Sometimes I can't believe myself
(Consequence in the purest form)
(I've seen it coming from miles away)
I'm down with brown town
I'm down with brown town

I'm down with brown town

Touch and go situation universal dream
Major malfunction witnessed by a million eyes
Faulty apparatus split apart at the seams
Massive explosion engulfing seven lives
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
A nation in anguish, a country in despair
Empathy for loved ones and those who lost their lives
Voluntary sorrow within a breath of air
Suicidal countdown not one of them survived
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
Krista McAuliffe life ending tragically
Teaching little minds you will no more
Famous for a moment Life and Time magazine
Short time later it'll all be ignored
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
N.A.S.A.
Oh say can you see spacecraft exploding in the air
By the early morning light seven families in despair
Watching their sons and daughters burning in the sky
Remnants plunge into the water but they already died
What so proudly we hail we thought they had all the brains
But in front of all the world we've been put to shame
In the sky no one left alive
The fault is yours and you can't deny their good luck passed them by
Whose broad stripes and bright stars led a perilous flight
That ended in disaster panic and frustration
You need another seven spacemen willing to take a chance
And dumb enough to trust you when you say all systems go
Rockets red glare bursting in air we thought they had all the brains
But N.A.S.A. proved otherwise that day in the sky
No one left alive died in the sky
The fault is yours and you can't deny their good luck passed them by
You know exactly why they're all dead
They couldn't survive. The fault was yours and you know just why
They're all dead
Now you got another seven astronauts dead
Their good luck had passed 'em by now they're dead
Man say the love have money (come on)
So no matter what dem say,
It's the order of the DJ!
Adam said "Eve, now listen to me.
Anything you want you can have.
So be a good girl, and let's make a deal.
Swimming pool and four car garage.
The world is your friend.
The door's opening.
Anything you want that you need.
Whoever you need, they're acting so sweet.
Money changes everything.! "
[x4:]

With this funny money still cycling around.
You know the Euro, kicking Uncle Sam in the who know
You know, deniro, the root of all evil.
Yeah I know you can't stand it,
Being broker than the Ten Commandments,
And the broker ain't planned this.
Now they talkin' the Amero damn it.
When it come down to it,
Some can see right through it.
Chuck D, sorry that drink's not on me.
You can stick to it, just don't flip to it.
For the sake of money, superstar cars, you see hi-def on somebody's
Plasma TV.
Who go from rags to riches and spend their riches on rags,
Similar bags with designer name tags.
Be glad you got yourself cause they mad.
They fake, plus they making mad mistakes!
(They tell you your wise,)
You wait and see you can't replace that space.
And I bet money can't keep that smile on your face!
Everybody's nice to you now. (Money!)
Dollars and sense, (You mad at the money that you spent. uh!)
It's fun to do but is it allowed? (sing)
Poor girl in a house of correction.
You're sexy as hell but it won't pay the bills forever.
Bright lights and no information.
Your feet hit the ground, when you lost what you found.
[x8:]
Money! Money, money, money, money, money, money
Money is the root of all evil!
Stay on top!
Make sure you make it,
Make sure that it don't make you!
That goes back old school as far as you can go back.
That's right, you make the money,
Make sure the money don't make you.
[Intro: Kool Keith]
Yeah! This is a national message! N.A.S.A. worldwide! One... Take the spotlight off me. (take the spotlight of me)
[Verse 1: Kool Keith]
I remember when the Cubans was first on Broadway.
With dark and yellow gold,
I was 11 years old.
The inspiration was spread out like a blanket, ask em'.
My discovery was beyond the pick, the Lee suit, and the afro.
Now from the flair jeans on 169th and College.
Watching the dude lean on one-seven-o
With a Kangol 'cross America,
I saw the hippies cross.
By Herc on Technique needles syncopated time was on time,
The same time as the Beatles.
I was up there watching James Brown's pockets, stuffed withJolly
Ranchers.
When the NFL had the Rams in Los Angeles,
Charles Finley in Oakland,
And my kindergarten moment was the beginning.
'Til the Caribbean people came to New York and sheepskin
Was bought,
The wind breaker
[Chorus: Tom Waits & Kool Keith]
The building never fall down.
They are the teeth of the town (spacious thoughts)
They crush us up in they grind,
The meat and bone of the mind.
We gather here on the block (spacious thoughts)
They key broke off in the lock.
I'll meet you down by the well
I'll meet you down by the well (spacious thoughts)
[Verse 2: Tom Waits]
The balloon drops down at midnight
Stranglin' the monkey with the hands of a clock
Good can't help but do a little Evil
Evil can't help but,
Do a little Good.
Who's that singing in the kitchen by the stove?
All aboard for the night train!
They say the moon, it smells just like a cherry bomb.
Come on home,
All is forgiven.
Everything costs.
Deliver us from evil,
And carry your own cross.
[Bridge:]
[Kool Keith:]
The time gathered with poppy seeds and grass,
Growing nobody faster than Jesse Owens.
With everything I'm seeing and knowing.
London Heathrow,
Walking through the airport with green Pro-Keds
Sixty-niners from the designers,
Tom McCann above the hill,
Next to my man, Lou Man,
The cardigan sweaters,
The still sell the New Eras now at Jew Man!
[Tom Waits:]
Ghetto Bhudda in the second set,
Breaking out in a cold sweat.
I'll meet you in the music.
We meet in the music,
Those we never met.
Keep dancing like there's nobody watching
Everyone can win the toss.
I may wander, bit I am never lost.
[Chorus: Tom Waits & Kool Keith]
The building never fall down.
They are the teeth of the town (spacious thoughts)
They crush us up in they grind,
The meat and bone of the mind.
We gather here on the block (spacious thoughts)
