Idaho (i/ˈaɪdəhoʊ/) is a state in the Rocky Mountain area of the United States. Idaho is the 14th most expansive, the 39th most populous, and the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States. The state's largest city and capital is Boise. Residents are called "Idahoans". Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state.
Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England. It is landlocked, surrounded by the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and the Canadian province of British Columbia. However, the network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.
Idaho's nickname is the Gem State, because nearly every known type of gemstone has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found (the other is the Himalaya Mountains, in India)[citation needed], and is the only place six-pointed star garnets have been found[citation needed]. Additionally Idaho is sometimes called the Potato State owing to its popular crop. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever").
Plot
CBGB follows the story of Hilly Kristal's New York club from its conceit as a venue for Country, Bluegrass and Blues (CBGB) to what it ultimately became: the birthplace of underground rock 'n roll and punk. When Kristal had difficulty booking country bands in his club on the Bowery he opened his doors to other kinds of rock music. Kristal had one demand of the acts he booked; they could only play original music. No top 40's, no covers. It was the credo he lived by, support the artist at whatever the cost. Hilly Kristal ironically became known as the godfather of punk giving a chance to such bands as Blondie, Television, Ramones, Talking Heads, Dead Boys and The Police.
50,000 bands and 1 disgusting bathroom.
Legs McNeil: [Talking about a new magazine] Cool, I can be like the editor, or something.::John Holmstrom: No. I'm the editor and the illustrator.::Legs McNeil: Whoa... what does that leave me?::John Holmstrom: You're just a punk.
Hilly Kristal: What kind of music do you play?::Terry Ork: Ohmmmm... new music.
Hilly Kristal: [Being introduced to the Ramones] What do you guys have for me?::Joey Ramone: We got four songs. I don't wanna walk around with you, I don't wanna be learned, I don't wanna be tamed and I don't wanna go down to the basement.::Hilly Kristal: Lot of things you don't wanna do.

Plot
In the year 2013 civilization has all but destroyed itself. After a war that decimated the government and most of the population of the United States (possibly the world) people struggle to survive against starvation and rogue groups of armed men. One such group is called the Holnists. This group is bigger than any other and their leader, General Bethlehem, has delusions of ruling the country. A drifter is captured by the group and forced to join. He escapes at the first chance and happens on a mail jeep with a skeleton in it. The skeleton is wearing a postal uniform and the drifter takes it to keep him warm. He also finds a mailbag and starts conning people with old letters. The hope he sees in the people he delivers to changes his plans and he decides that he must help bring the Holnists down.

The year is 2013. One man walked in off the horizon and hope came with him.
It is 2013. War has crippled the Earth. Technology has been erased. Our only hope is an unlikely hero.
The Postman: Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.
Sheriff: You're nothing but a drifter who found a bag of mail.
Postman: The President's name... is Richard Starkey!
The Postman: Tell me something: how much mail can a dead Postman deliver?
The Postman: Wouldn't it be great if wars could be fought just by the assholes who started them?
The Postman: You're no general. You're not even a good painter.
Abby: You made Mrs. March feel like she could see again. You made Ford believe he was part of something. You give out hope like it was candy in your pocket.
Postman: I know you. You're... famous.::Bridge City Mayor: I was once... sorta.
Postman: When I was a kid, we all wore our hats backwards. We thought it was cool.
The Postman: It takes one postman to make someone else a postman.::Ford Lincoln Mercury: Sorta like vampires, huh?
Father Dan: We don't harass the Lord enough. We should be more demanding, like a small boy asking his father for a bicycle. Ask for your inheritance. Ask for a miracle, a couple of miracles. Demand your share. Holler! Our rich father isn't very far away. After all, all you're asking for is a fair shake. It shouldn't take much of a miracle for that.
Mrs. Madigan: Praying, was ye! What are ye, hollering hyenas? I thought you was Catholics! Ye'd better get down on yer knees and say yer prayers like decent Christians. Or else!
Slim: There oughta be a law against lettin' ambulances have sireens!::Duke: Why doncha write yer congressman?
Mike: I sure hate to do it. That dame's sure nuts about that guy.::Hank: What's the matter with you, you some kinda love nut?
Idaho: Aw, to heck with the Monsignor. We're leavin' this money for Dysmas. We're callin' it his cut.
Slim: You like to read so much, why doncha go over and knock off the public li-berry!
Slim: I may be a louse, but I ain't gonna rob a church!
Mrs. McKenzie: If they're parishioners, the car's as good as gone.
Father Dan: The bigger the deal, the better it is for the side that's in no hurry.
Slim: You know, I've never been up so early in my life. The city looks queer, like it ain't finished.

When her ghost lives inside my body

As the lids of my eyes get heavy
Yeah, are you feeling it too?

All the way to USA, I've thought about you every single
second since I got home
I may find a better view, find a better... view

There's someone I left behind
She found a place in my mind that's steady
A constant wave of regret
I need a change in my life, I'm ready

Is calling you home
All that love all those mistakes
What else can a poor man make?
So I gave up a life of crime
I gave it to a friend of mine
Something else was on my mind
The only ghost I'm haunted by
I hear her howling down below
Idaho oh Idaho
Wolves oh wolves oh can't you see?
Ain't no wolf can sing like me
And if it could then I suppose
He belongs in Idaho
Packs of dogs and cigarettes
For those who ain't done packing yet
My clothes are packed and I want to go
Idaho oh Idaho
Out at sea for seven years I got your letter in Tangier
Thought that I'd been on a boat
'Til that single word you wrote
That single word it landlocked me
Turned the masts to cedar trees
And the winds to gravel roads
Idaho oh Idaho
In the back of a car on a road in the dark,
In the stillicide, silently falling snow,
I have packed everything that I own in a bag,
And I'm driving, I'm driving to Idaho,
A poem for leaving, a reason to go,
So I'm driving, I'm driving to Idaho.
'Cause I can't be anyone but me, anyone but me,
And I can't keep dreaming that I'm free, dreaming that I'm free,
I don't want to fall asleep and watch my life from fifty feet,
My hands are on the wheel so I'm driving to Idaho,
'Cause I hear it's mighty pretty...
And oh, I've been dumb, I've been perfectly beautiful,
Lain on my back buying lovers with stealth,
But I'm sick of you all, and I'm sick of opinions,
And I'm sick of this war I wage on myself...
I don't know why I'm so gripped to go there
A universe riddle that only I know?
Mr. Robert he says, "It's all in the head!"
Tell me, Phaedrus, what's good, is it Idaho?
'Cause I can't be anyone but me, anyone but me,
And I can't keep dreaming that I'm free, dreaming that I'm free,
I don't want to fall asleep and watch my life from fifty feet,
My hands are on the wheel so I'm driving to Idaho,
'Cause I hear it's mighty pretty...
What if the sky in Idaho is black and dark?
What if the sun in Idaho doesn't set at all?
And what if I loved you with all of my heart?
And what if my love wasn't good enough?
What if the sky in Idaho is filled with clouds?
What if the sun in Idaho has burned out?
There'd be miles and miles behind us
We'd look back at the miles and miles we'd come
Don't tell me all those miles were for nothing
Don't tell me all of those miles were for nothing
What if the sky in Idaho is black and dark?
What if the sun in Idaho doesn't set at all?
And what if I loved you with all of my heart?
And what if my love wasn't good enough?
There'd be miles and miles behind us
We'd look back at the miles and miles we'd come
Don't tell me all those miles were for nothing
Don't tell me all of those miles were for nothing
With your arms around me, I think I can do this
With your help, I think that I can do this
Help me do this
Help me help you do this
There's another brazen day
Things kinda move that way
Good lord above, now he don't have to fuss
Not for good hardy people like us
Born with a weary eye
Plain to see, my oh my
These crazy ideas, oh they don't last long
But they come and they go in america
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
There's another fallen man
With hair I don't understand
Its just bout as long as my wife marlene
Don't it all kinda keep you to wondering
Staring at the stars above
Wonder what are we made of
Some folks say that they know right away
So you look on a cloud for a lullaby
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
And i said hey
Everywhere i see, hey
Everywhere i see
There's another busted dream
Staring me right in the face
Good lord knows why we don't give in
Trying to leave, maybe run from this place
Instead of staring at the stars above
Wondering what are we made of
Some folks say that they know right away
So you look on a cloud for a lullaby
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
And we're staring at the world from my home little idaho
And i say staring at the world from my home little idaho
Staring at the world from my home little idaho
And i say hey
Everywhere i see, hey
Thunderclouds have been making face
My friends are on the front porch getting wasted
Freedom sits aside of the hill
Calling me back but I never will
Yeah, we'll hang low
Like they do it out in Idaho
Don't run, we roll
As they're heading out to row this boat
Some say that shit's for dreamers
We pack up our things
And make our way to the theater
The suits will drop the ball again
We'll pass a hat and make another plan
Yeah, we'll hang low
Like they do it out in Idaho
Don't run, we roll
As we're calling up the radio
So there have been crimes of using words
We hear out in the distance a get over
The brother's got his eye on you
Walk a block and it'll tell the truth
Yeah, we'll hang low
Like they do it out in Idaho
Don't run, we roll
As we're heading out to row this boat
Don't run, we roll
As we're calling up the radio
Don't run, we roll
Going for a road trip in Idaho
My friends had money but no place to go
Sitting in the car, what have I done?
Looking for some fun
The tank was full and the engine roared
Tearing down the highway like a devil sword
My daddy doesn’t know I’ve gone away
He won’t catch me today
Hearing all the voices call
Come back
We headed to the station, needed some gas
The guy behind the counter asked
Which way are you going son?
Looking for some fun
Hearing all the voices call
Come back
And when we got to our destination
There was no-one there
And when we got to our destination
They were all dead
Going for a road trip in Idaho
We had no money and no place to go
The sun rose on the understay
With a click of a switch
The sub canopy roared when the
Business sign read open in neon lights
Climbing vines up desk, stools, pygmies and bats
Timecards and paychecks
The apes howl when you push the buttons in their stomachs
Hands play cymbals after a wind of a gear
The beetles and the birds
Are all pollinating flowers
Grown in the gardens of mansions
I am the primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
I am the primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
Let me climb these painted walls
And flourish in this man made habitat
Electronic talking parrots
Eating toothpicks as a mating ritual
The beast prays on it's employees
And eats on their summer's harvested fruits
The lion sleeps when it's antelope go home
I am he primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
I am he primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
I am he primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
I am he primate that swings
From the man made apparatus
I am the vines that grow underneath
Florescent lights from carpeted floors
Give me the sun before the night
Give me my wrong, I forfeit the right
Give me the sun before the night
Give me my wrong, I forfeit the right
Give me my kill and pay me well
Give me my pay, so I will pay my bills
Give me my kill and pay me well
Give me my pay, so I will pay my bills
Hear this
My life has become dry because of you
Insomnia, paranoia, anxiety
Dependence, relentless, worthlessness
You stole all my love
You stole all my love
You stole all my love
And I want it back
We are animals swinging
Can you paint with your eyes closed
Can you walk on the sea
Would you swim with your clothes on
And dance around and be free
Would you climb up a mountain
Climb your way to the top
Soar across the clear blue sky
And never let yourself drop
And I know
Sun always sets, the birds fly high
And the water is wet
People can laugh and others will cry
And I know we will be just fine
Be just fine
Did you ever drive away
In a car not your own
Drive across this country
Visit Idaho
And I know
Sun always sets, the birds fly high
And the water is wet
People can laugh and others will cry
And I know we will be just fine
Be just fine
And I know
Sun always sets, the birds fly high
And the water is wet
People can laugh and others will cry
And I know it will be just fine
Be just fine
And I know in the morning
The sun will rise
The light turns green
It will shine in your eyes
People grow older, and some grow wise
And I know we will be just fine
Be just fine
Be just fine
late at night in the still moonlight
the bedsheets settle on the floor
and i fall to sleep in the midnight things
and dream of you once more
will you love me in the morning
or is waking only dreaming come true
will you love me in the morning
will you love me like i love you
you were pure and good
like i knew you would be
with the heaven of forever in your eyes
your heart was true
and i fell hard for you
but in my dreams you were nothing but lies
in my dreams, it seems we are too good to be
in my dreams, you are everyone else leaving me
pull this sleep up off of me
cause every time i close my eyes
there's something in me i'm afraid that you'll see
that we are something that will wither in the light
From Stanley up to Sunbeam
from Clayton on to Chalice,
Heading down the Salmon river
To a rangeland palace
Sage brush all around
Where the deer and elk do roam
This place I may call home
Where the flatlands stretch for miles
And the mountains touch the sky
And the sun always shines
Chorus:
In Idaho, ohhhh
In Idaho, ohhhh
In Idaho, ohhhh
In Idaho
My mind is filled with images
Of saw-tooth bridges
Where the snow melt forms
Cold mountain creeks
Flowin' through the valley down below
I was standing 'neath the pine trees
On a bed of wild grass
This place has captured me, well far I can see
There ain't no place I'd rather be.
Still live, skin tight, make-up in the hall
A photograph of Garbo passing time on the wall
Every little thing but the truth
When you're big news, all used, cameras at the door
The film of your life takes a ride to New York
Every single frame has to end
As your sex lends appeal to a friend
Happy birthday
Have a nice day
Ripped off pin-up, cry out to belong
They can't love a woman now they've paid for a doll
Never trust a vulture to move
When he's looking for a shot in the nude
Happy birthday Mr. President
Have a nice day Mr. President
Your hair-man hovers round, make-up on the board
It was just a note -- a private joke -- "While I'm still warm"
The vultures queue up at the morgue
A dollar for a shot at the corpse
Happy birthday
Have a nice day
Happy birthday Mr. President
Have a nice day Mr. President
down in the bardo
there was nothing to hold so we let it go
we were empty, we were hollow
shined with everything we were living for
and you see your soul
like some picture show
across idaho
we were running through the autumn leaves
a couple kids just wearing out our jeans, running
mary she's our autumn queen
watch her smoking cigarettes in the street
and down she goes
cold she blows
across idaho
and there's lights up in the north
and i aint wondering where you are
yeah just lights up in the north
now it's white as snow
watch the evening glow

Headlights staring down the road ahead
Your silence beside me
And I don't want to ask
Last night, I couldn't help the things I said
But you kept your distance
Hanging on another mask
Hard times knocking at our door again
You just can't fight it
You've forgotten how to win
Cold hands like a stranger's on your skin
Can't sleep beside you so our eyes close in the sun
Where can we go from here?
Where can we go?
We keep trying to get back
To Idaho
To Idaho
Old songs keep us dancing around the room
Stuck in circles
Nothing new to see
How long can one heart beat so confused?
We can't stay here waiting on another day
Where can we go from here?
Where can we go?
We keep trying to get back
To Idaho
To Idaho
To Idaho
Certenely
To love can be a rhapsody
With one release
Your shadows all around to see
No one to know
A colder heart can't beat indeed
Pick up the pieces and start
Don't deny the fire in your heart
Before you know you walk right into
A lovers stroke that's so romantic
And even now tyou wanna band it
Oh nonono I wanna stand it
And anymore
He take me high high high
Everytime he's wanna try
Idaho I feel so fine
Idaho tell me why
Idaho
About a heart to go
Something inside feeling so fine
Every want to know
Don't you know
Way back in Idaho
Here by my side
Baby he comes
Way back in Idaho
Give me everything I long for
It's a miracle that you surrender
I let you know cause love is tender
And even now you understand it
And no no no no I can stand it
Not anymore
He takes me high high hig
