The term Viking (from Old Norse víkingr) is customarily used to refer to the Norse explorers, warriors, merchants, and pirates who raided, traded, explored and settled in wide areas of Europe, Asia and the North Atlantic islands from the late 8th to the mid-11th century.
These Norsemen used their famed longships to travel as far east as Constantinople and the Volga River in Russia, and as far west as Iceland, Greenland, and Newfoundland, and as far south as Al-Andalus. This period of Viking expansion – known as the Viking Age – forms a major part of the medieval history of Scandinavia, Great Britain, Ireland and the rest of Europe in general.
Popular conceptions of the Vikings often differ from the complex picture that emerges from archaeology and written sources. A romanticised picture of Vikings as Germanic noble savages began to take root in the 18th century, and this developed and became widely propagated during the 19th-century Viking revival. The received views of the Vikings as violent brutes or intrepid adventurers owe much to the modern Viking myth which had taken shape by the early 20th century. Current popular representations are typically highly clichéd, presenting the Vikings as familiar caricatures.
Ivar Ragnarsson (Old Norse: Īvarr; died possibly 873) nicknamed the Boneless (inn beinlausi), was a Viking leader and by reputation also a berserker. By the late 11th century he was known as a son of the powerful Ragnar Lodbrok, ruler of an area probably comprising parts of modern-day Denmark and Sweden.
In the autumn of AD 865, with his brothers Halfdan Ragnarsson (Halfdene) and Ubbe Ragnarsson (Hubba), Ivar led the Great Heathen Army in the invasion of the East Anglian region of England. An accommodation was quickly reached with the East Anglians. The following year, Ivar led his forces north on horseback and easily captured York (which the Danes called Jorvik) from the Northumbrians who were at that time engaged in a civil war.
Ivar and the Danes succeeded in holding York against a vain attempt to relieve the city in AD 867.
Ivar is also attributed with the slaying of St. Edmund of East Anglia in AD 869. The story is first known from Abbo of Fleury's Latin Passion of King Edmund and Ælfric's Old English adaptation thereof. By their accounts, when Edmund refused to become the vassal of a pagan, he was killed in much the same way as Saint Sebastian was martyred. Ivar had Edmund bound to a tree, whereupon Vikings shot arrows into him until he died. According to later accounts, Edmund was shot in the nave of a church.
Harald Fairhair or Harald Finehair (Old Norse: Haraldr hárfagri, Norwegian: Harald Hårfagre), (c. 850 – c. 933), son of Halfdan the Black, was the first king (872–930) of Norway.
Little is known of the historical Harald. The only contemporary sources mentioning him are the two skaldic poems Haraldskvæði and Glymdrápa, which have been attributed to Þorbjörn Hornklofi or alternatively (in the case of the first poem) to Þjóðólfr of Hvinir. The first poem has only been preserved in fragments in 13th century Kings' sagas. It describes life at Harald's court, mentions that he took a Danish wife, and that he won a battle at Hafrsfjord. The second relates a series of battles Harald won. The validity of this evidence is doubtful and the facts offered by the poems are scant. Their unity is in any case questionable, as they have been reconstructed from fragments in the Kings' sagas, where they are attributed to more than one author.
Harald is not mentioned in any foreign sources earlier than the 12th century. His life is described in several of the Kings' sagas, but the first of these were not written until the end of the 12th century, over 250 years after his death. Their accounts of Harald and his life differ on several points, and much of the content is clearly mythological. He is credited with having unified Norway into one kingdom. Modern historians have generally assumed that his rule was limited to the coastal areas of southern Norway.

Plot
David Riley, once the assistant prop-master of the Metropolitan Opera, enters his retirement home's talent show in a last-ditch effort for artistic immortality. But rehearsals for his five-minute dramatic rendition of Wagner's Ring Cycle aren't going well. David convinces himself that a prop helmet he created forty years ago can save his production. He quickly enlists the help of his son, Tom, and young grandson, Richie, to break into the vaults of the Met and steal the helmet. Richie, already suspicious of his grandfather, has a more basic concern: distinguishing real from imaginary. During their quest for the 'magic' helmet, Richie connects with his grandfather and discovers that, on the stage, life can be lived in a fantastical gray zone between memories and dreams.

Plot
Young Prince Valiant, son of the exiled King of Scandia, journeys to Camelot to become a knight at King Arthur's Round Table. He hopes to help his father reclaim his throne from the pagan usurper Sligon and restore the Christian faith to their homeland. On his journey he stumbles on the mysterious Black Knight plotting with the Viking pretender to overthrow Arthur. Barely escaping with his life, Valiant encounters Sir Gawaine, a friend of his father's who tutors the young Viking in the skills needed to be a knight. Valiant and Gawaine's pupil/mentor relationship is complicated by their romantic involvement with Princess Aleta and her sister Ilene, daughters of a British nobleman. Sir Gawain: You were a young fool. But I was an old fool, which is worse.
Prince Valiant: I called you a traitor when you delivered me into Sligon's hands and now I say it again - traitor!
Sir Gawain: Stop interrupting and I'll tell you what happened. After you left I went out after you. That's when I came upon the Black Knight.::Prince Valiant: You found him?::Sir Gawain: Aye. He was searchin' the wood when I challenged him. We fought and he was good. His lance broke and I outhorsed him. I came in to finish him, when a dozen armed men came charging out at me.::Prince Valiant: They were on foot? Armed with bows?::Sir Gawain: Aye. It was only with luck I escaped through a hail of arrows.::Prince Valiant: So did I!::Sir Gawain: You what?::Prince Valiant: I was set upon by a band of archers, escaped with an arrow in my back.::Sir Gawain: Where was Sir Brack?::Prince Valiant: I don't know. I was nearly captured where he told me to wait for him. Now he says he went back to find me and found no one. Isn't that strange sir?::Sir Gawain: What do you imply?::Prince Valiant: It's hard to put into words, sir, but could it be that he covets King Arthur's throne more than anyone knows?::Sir Gawain: Sir Brack. A foul suspicion, Val. Unworthy of you.::Prince Valiant: Yes, I suppose it is unworthy.::Sir Gawain: Sir Brack may have been born on the wrong side of the blanket, but he's a Knight of the Round Table, sworn to pledge allegiance to our King, and to defend justice, the weak and the helpless.::Prince Valiant: I'm sorry, sir.
Sir Gawain: You turned out to be flinging rocks like any lowborn ruffian. Why I've never been unhorsed by such a scurvy trick!
Sir Gawain: A man does not risk banishment or death in borrowed armor unless the stakes are high.
Princess Aleta: [to Valiant] I hate you! I love you! I'll never marry anyone else!
King Luke: What's wrong with Sir Brack? His blood is as good as Arthur's!::Princess Aleta: And he never lets us forget it as his own father apparently did.
Sir Brack: Traitor is a word that winners give to losers, and you've lost.
Sir Gawain: The truth hurts sometimes, but it's the only thing to build happiness on.
Sir Gawain: If you're King Aguar's son, why did you fling that rock?::Prince Valiant: I thought you were the knight that was after me.::Sir Gawain: What knight?::Prince Valiant: All I saw was his black armor.::Sir Gawain: The Black Knight? You saw him?::Prince Valiant: I near had his lance in my back. Who is he?::Sir Gawain: A ghost.::Prince Valiant: Oh, ghosts don't chase a man in daylight.::Sir Gawain: Right.
Looking out forward over the prow of our long ship,
pulling our oars and listening to the foam;
helmets and sheepskins salt-damp in the sea-mist:
we're going home.
Aslak of Langadale, Einar Thorgeirsson,
Olaf the White and Sigurd the Powerful...
Looking for constellations above the horizon,
West wind cutting sharper than our blades;
smiling forever into an endless sunrise,
we're flying on the waves.
Thorfin Karlsefny, Aud the Deep-Minded,
Snorri Thorbrandsson, Thorstein the Black...
Out of dark Vinland, with grey waves racing before us –
we want no rest.
Back to the homeland, Iceland, sleeping in winter –
back from the West.
Five years we roam;
The last time I seen viking
He was about this tall
With a tattoo
Where a smile should've been
Of his sweetheart's name
Of his sweetheart's name
Do you remember viking?
He was about you and me
With a big scar
Where his heart should've been
Inside his chest
Inside his chest
Do you, do you remember viking?
Do you remember viking?
The last time I saw viking
He was about so tall
With a tattoo
Where his heart should've been
He was about everything
He was about everything
Do you remember viking?
Do you remember viking?
We are the Vikings that is looking for war
Slaying and raping and killing them all
We travel around from town to town
Searching for women to have us some fun
We are the last of the evil
Nobody gets in our way
Thor is our God and our guide on the way
We're gonna make you pay
As we walk on our journey through life
We're gonna see some pain in your eyes
Sometimes are good times and sometimes are bad
We must carry on
We must carry on
Right now
People are trying to fight against us
With speers and axes and life as a loss
We are the strong and we are the cruel
We're only here to get You
We are the last of the evil
Nobody gets in our way
Thor is our God and our guide on the way
We're gonna make you pay
As we walk on our journey through life
We're gonna see some pain in your eyes
Sometimes are good times and sometimes are bad
We must carry on
We must carry on
Right now
Graves been digged on places we been
Blood on our hands and blood on our feet
We are the Vikings that sailed through the seas
We're gonna kill you and set your soul free
We are the last of the evil
Nobody gets in our way
Thor is our God and our guide on the way
We're gonna make you pay
As we walk on our journey through life
We're gonna see some pain in your eyes
Sometimes are good times and sometimes are bad
We must carry on
We must carry on
Marie, Marie, playing guitar
On the back porch
I sit in my car while she sings
So sad, Marie, Marie
Marie, Marie, it's so lonely
In these farmlands
Please come with me
To the bright lights downtown, Marie, Marie
I said, Hey pretty girl
Don't you understand
I just want to
Be your loving man?
Marie, Marie, the sun is down
In the corn fields the evening is dark
And you sing so sad, Marie, Marie
Watch me, boys, watch me
Marie Marie, I got two weeks of pay
And there's gas in my car
And your folks say I must go, Marie, Marie
I said, hey, pretty girl
Don't you understand
Well, I just want to
Be your loving man?
Marie Marie, playing guitar
On the back porch, I leave in my car
While you sing such a sad song, Marie, Marie
Watch me, boys, watch me, now
The last time I seen Viking
He was about this tall
With a tattoo
Where a smile should've been
Of his sweetheart's name
Of his sweetheart's name
Do you remember Viking?
He was about you and me
With a big scar
Where his heart should've been
Inside his chest
Inside his chest
Do you remember Viking?
Do you remember Viking?
The last time I saw Viking
He was about so tall
With a tattoo
Where his heart should've been
He was about everything
He was about everything
Do you remember Viking?
Do you remember Viking?
I remember Viking

A year ago, it was the light of my life
Infatuated and devoted was I
Matrumony forever? I find revolting the thought
I need an escape, need to pick the wedlock
To be released from my vow and epithalamium
Now emotions are pure where I felt only numb
Won't grant me my freedom, we'll still separate
Dissolution - a parting of the ways
(Chorus)
Too late to annul, so I plan her demise
Creative Divorce - Asphyxiate the bride
Where once was love is only loathe and dislike
Creative Divorce - To do away with my wife
You say I can't break it - I'd like to break you
You can live or just die, but I'm saying it's through
As a lifetime companion, it's ball and chain
Either total detachment, or my constricted airway
(Chorus)
His immortality will be my release
I have reached the end - my life's new lease
I knew that better half would be better off dead
Situation was revolting - cut it all at the head
(Solo:Brett, Ron, Brett)
How far it might have gone - I'd rather not say
She got out of hand - So I killed Mary Jane
The addiction to her - well it had to be tamed
The source of corrodion was how it ended in flames
Too late to annul, so I paln her demise
Creative Divorce - Asphyxiate the bride
Where once was love is only loathe and dislike
Creative Divorce - To do away with that life
Till death do us
Children working overtime
To satisfy his whims
Off scot free? Well I think not
The three invade his dreams...
You won't be back toMorrow Vic
Sneak preview never comes
What a waste for just a taste
Of blood filling your lungs
(Chorus)
He took away two children's lives
For entertainment's sake
No thoughts for naught but his alone
Their blood was his to slake
Where were the stunt men paid so much
To take away the risk?
The government inspectors
Preventing things like this
Decapitaion brings frustration
And sorrow to the soul
All the lawyers getting rich
In this the headless hole
(Chorus)
(Solo: Ron, solo: Brett)
Children working overtime
A fate we'd surely dread
Please, just one last question sir
Did they ever find his head?
(Chorus)
The man who brought us fantasy
Has stung us with reality
Millions spent
But it's too late for them
I draw satisfaction
Knowing that he will

Judgement day - will you comprehend?
Beckons close at hand
Those of us that were born again
And those who curse the Holy Land
Brought forth before the Son of god
The One who loved enough to die
We will be not judged by our words and deeds
But by our faith when we are tried
Respond to the Holy One
Why you think that He should spare
A man who mocked and cursed His name
Or knew the truth and did not care
Drink the blood of the King of Kings
Love the Savior of the human race
Kneel before Him, discard your rings
And pray that He will give you grace
He was born unto a virgin
A birth from royal seed
The truest test of prophets
Is truthful prophesy
Know the Prophet was no bastard
We did not deserve His death
Just the thought of what He did for me
Forever I will be His slave
His own kind of refused acknowledgement
Crucified the Chosen One
As the sun set behind the cross of thieves
Dying, He knew His work was done
(Solo: Ron)
Our cross he had to bear
He rose as the final sign
Still searching for the prophet "true"
The Jews are left behind...
He was born unto a vrgin
A birth from royal seed
When youa are brought to trial
Human life expentancy
No longer man a century
There are those that would
Cheat death if they could
Most who die just pass along
Assuming there's no choice at all
Some just do not realize
That there is sight in dead eyes
Th illusion of life
Created by ignorance
The end of life
Prolonged by chance
Death is cheated
By one man's insistance
Death depleted
Delayed advance
Expiration date is spent
And blood in veins turned sour
Many days ago we passed
Supposed final hours
Unused organs start to swell
Limbs begin to stiffen
Though life continues
Death advances
Avoidance of oblivion
(Solo: Ron)
(Chorus)
Grandpa Tolliver
Passed away one night
But he was like no other
He just refused to die
That stubborn old man
Not looking death in the eye
(Solo: Ron, Brett)
Death ripens, flesh rots
Rigor mortis, cane to walk
Animation from belief
Lips are blue
Still they speak
Denial is a medication
Oh to die, end our frustration
Vital functions cease to work
When will be believe?
(Solo:Ron)
senza meta e senza scopo
fatta solo per morire
Radunerò i miei soldati
e ti riporterò in vita
Sarò forte come la roccia del tuo sito
e cemento della tua tradizione
E noi Aquile voleremo verso il Sole
Uccideremo le serpi dell'oscurità
sul terreno né umano né divino
Walking down Queenstown Road
I come from busy town to unknown world
When its dark my lonely steps run
like the enthralling evasions of the ingenious mind
At night Battersea Park looks so sensual
When you embrace a tree, will you remember of me?
Like the touch of leaves my hands will be
I will taste you like your bronze ales
like the pastries of the day
I came here to know about love that I had never seen before
I will cover your roads with daisy flowers
and in a night under the moonlit smoke towers
I will teach you how to make love
I will teach you how to make love
I will teach you how to make love
I came here to know about love that I had never seen before
In the shyness of Cringle Street the Goddess is dancing now
Nine Elms Lane brings its desert at her feet
Make silence now on Cringle Street, the Goddess is singing now
On the Thames Battersea is sleeping peacefully
I see the scars on your fairy face
but now the stars will knit a lace
and until Ill be there no one
will ever scorch your bloomy bark
The light will shine again
and brighten your dewy air
The moody times are still too near
but Im the scarecrow and theres nothing to fear
No, don't touch me,
why do you want to destroy
my beauty that lived
eternally engraved in the centuries?
No, don't hurt me,
why do you want to censure
the mind of the artist
just to have fun?
You don't fight any war!
May the Statue live for ever
May Art live for ever
away from destruction
destruction, so common in our time.
No, don't mock me,
why do you want to erase
the wisdom of the man
creator of art as ideology?
No, don't swop me,
why do you want to change
the ground under my feet?
I belong to this soil
since the day of my birth!

I don't want to hear tonight your sorrowful complaint/ You are looking for something that nobody will ever give you/ Freedom of speech, that is how you call it, I think it doesn't exist/ So take the pen, take the microphone and scream what you'd like to scream// Put it right inside of your head/ the others want you to shut up (hush, hush)/ Freedom of speech is abstract for me/ Speech or non-speech?/ I speak!/ Chicca rules always and everywhere!!// If you give up they'll win the power and your voice will be sunk/ Deeper and longer makes the difference, but don't forget to be wise/ It's a war for survival, a war for existence, show your iron temper/ Knock down your enemy, you know that the destiny of your cause depends on you// Put it right...//

Do you know what that thing is about?"/ And we began to talk in his stinking car.// He said "We're like you against Christianity,/ but we could like them if they give us amnesty/ and I don't agree with your Heathen view/ of Personal Jesus"/ I said "I like my Gods and I'm ready to fight for them"/ "Yeah, fascist!" he said "You only take the war on Earth"/ I said "You seem to prefer chaos and destruction".// I was going to die, yeah, I was going to die/ He drove to the unknown land where they would have hanged me./ Oh, I was going to die, yeah, it was my last day of life/ He drove so fast and he did not watch the way.// He switched the radio on and made me listen to 99 Posse/ They sang a song "Anti-fascist regurgitation"/ I already imagined my death, we were going to the town called Montepagano/ oh, what a beautiful name, but there I would have been killed.// And they screamed, they sang, they were so happy/ and I could only smile friendly/ they smiled to me to say/ "Do you understand?"/ And they wanted to go and get a beer/ and I thought "Shit! Alcohol! There's no way to survive/ if they get drunk, they will kill me!"// I was going to die, yeah, I was going to die/ He drove so fast and he was totally drunk/ Oh, I was going to die, yeah, it was my last day of life/ He was full of hate, sweet sweet hate against me.// I heard Odin tell me "Kill or die"/ but I had a problem/ I could have killed the bad guy but the girl,/ I and she were relatives!/ But the clock stroke 11 and we finished our time/ yeah, we had to go home/ I was still alive, I was there/ at home and safe.// La la la.../ Let's have a trip to Montepagano/ Let's have a trip to Montepagano/ All together! Streetfight in the city!!//
Hey, baby, you are great today/ I wanna touch you and see myself reflex in your blue eyes/ You know, your hair lights all this grey room/ You make me feel outside, outside there is a northern sky// Faded, please keep on crying/ you're like the rain when there's the sun, too/ Fade, please keep on listening/ and never say that you are ugly, no/ You are the only thing that I like/ when I see your eyes I feel like flying/ I will always give you respect/ and I'll stay with you// You represent the Aryan race/ with your kind white face/ you're made to walk through Stockholm's streets/ and get the power that the trolls give/ No, you don't need lens or colour on your blond hair/ You are faded, everybody wants to be like you// You can paint my days, You can paint my life
Dark, cold, that is/ some fog around me/ I can feel the smells/ hear the last bells/ And icy wind wraps me up/ and gently like the waves rocks my arms/ everything disappears/ here comes the time of the fears// And all my thoughts line up like soldiers/ but in my mind there is no disorder/ I'm looking for the might in my hidden life/ this is the way towards the light// Dark, stout, that is/ some leaves on my feet/ I can feel the cold seeping of the stones/ the deep cracking of my bones/ I hear the noise of my steps/ and I think that this trip will never end/ every night I'll live it again/ inside the forest of my head// The moon is shining on the frozen stream/ I touch the ice, it's so keen/ the pain and the joy are revealed/ I reached the light, I'm able to see// I want to scream and hurl away all the pain/ I want to kill// I never saw my life before/ no, I won't trick it anymore/ Revenge and hate are what I store/ the light is dying, I'm waiting for the new dawn//
"Take a walk in the middle of a winter night/ in a forest all alone/ and you will understand what I mean/ it actually speaks"/ The noisy silence will never leave alone/ It's the wind that every night wildly blows/ Welcome to Scandinavia, Welcome to Scandinavia// Come with me/ I'll take you to a place where you've never been/ And the snow falls down over me/ so free// The best colours are brown, green, white and blue/ the trees, the snow/ the lakes/ I see the elks running through the wide meadows/ oh oh / Welcome to Scandinavia, Welcome to Scandinavia // Come...// I'm in love with all the people of the North/ even with the enemies/ I know they might change/ Everything is incredibly perfect/ there's nothing that rots/ Odin made Scandinavia, yeah, Odin made Scandinavia//
Don't go round with the Jews/ You don't know which danger you'll find/ On the rail of your life/ It's so hard to change your direction once you are running// Guy, don't trust in the Jews/ Their identity is not the face you see/ They show you what they want you to see/ And then you're compelled to believe, you may not agree/ But you will never know the truth// Don't go round with the Jews/ You should be afraid of their kind attitude/ When you're invited to a feast/ Don't expect to have fun, to be a guest respected and hailed// If you are lucky you only have to serve/ Otherwise you're an instrument to keep their hatred calm/ You have to keep the peace in their world/ And receive all their tensions, their apprehensions/ They don't care if they humiliate you// Don't go round with the Jews/ They use and discard you and use you and kill you slowly in your brain/ No, there will be no alliance/ I will never mix my lymph with the blood of the Jews// Being part of their system?/ No, I prefer a sorrowful death.// No, no, don't go round with the Jews/ Reclaim you independence, reclaim your purity/ Decode their system/ They'll suck your blood, they'll use your energy/ And the fear will lead you to agree/ They will destroy you...
So much time has passed but I still remember you/ It's like you are here and I can feel you breathing/ I remember your eyes, blue as bright as dew/ And you looked at me as you wanted to say:// My sister, my sister/ I want to play with you/ don't you want it, too?// Now in Valhalla you are sitting by the Gods/ You were my kitten and now you're serving Freyja/ You drag her coach and you keep this dream alive/ And you are in my nightmares as you wanted to say:// My sister, my sister/ I want to play with you / don't you want it, too?/ My sister, you are my sister/ I want to meet your look again/ don't you want it, too?// Your life was short/ but you had your time to live/ and I lived with you/ Then my heart was broken/ death pulled you away from me/ and I could only cry/ I could only cry// Freyja's cat now lives in an other world/ but when he was here he played like an earthly cat/ he scratched the trees and his claws caressed my face/ and he listened to me when I played the flute// Time can't stop and it can't start again/ and you'll never come back home/ you must be where you are/ You live where the warriors live and the glory is for you/ and you'll wait, I will die/ you'll wait, I will die
There is something you don't seem to control/ but it's part of your existence/ grown in your life, born in your life/ and older than you/ You can't react against it/ you can't announce it/ There is a time when you get to know/ that it's made for you// It invades you are you are rebel no more/ It finally orders your life/ and you understand: there are things that must be done/ (things ordered by a natural law)// You cannot choose another way/ if you don't accept you'll die/ and I won't recognise you/ and I won't recognise your actions/ In this chaos of modern world/ it is the only consolation/ it gives a sense to all this confusion/ it's indispensable to life// It's so natural...// Destiny makes our life a battle/ Destiny, slowly we become/ Destiny gives the world a measure/ Destiny creates and sets out// There is no judgment in your future/ There is only your route/ you will find no anguish/ you'll find only action/ No God will send you to Hell/ because you god-made or dead/ will determine your being/ and in your destiny it is written// Destiny that is already drawn/ Destiny that wants to be fulfilled/ There's only one destiny in your life/ the rest is your death and another life// Destiny...//

The change of seasons passes
Neverending iwth the day
The wizard we call winter
Can bring storms into our bays
First we pray for sunshine
Then we plead for rain
But the deadly time of year
Is the season we cannot change
Tramping through the snowdrifts
We'veweary and battle fatigued
Anticipating ambush
At every rustling tree
We're two months away from death
Trudging ever onward
Frostbitten feet and frozen breath
White winter brings the new-fallen snow
Nature's eulogy for sin
The coming of winter, a season of love
And the waging of war between men
Headed for a battlefield where we will surely die
Our fate is written in the stars tonight
Our future changes, though I know not how
Destiny is changed - now!
A wizard upon us , eyes blazing, spells spewing from his mouth
Flames leaps from his hands, hallucinations
We will never know as we're engulfed in flames
Oh, to die this way, when we're defenseless
At the hands of this occult master gone insane...
Awaken shackled, and my men are here
As for my comrades, two are dead I fear
Until I see life in both of them
Torchlight approaches - here!
An old man unlocks me, and the rest of my men as he speaks these words
"I am Krakenaus, you must follow me,
We will escape from this forsaken pit of hell!
Now come quickly, if we're discovered
You will suffer a fate that is worse than death!"
(Solo: Brett, Ron, Brett, Ron)
Following a stranger, I'm dependent for life
Hoping the man is not a deceiver
The walls are getting cold, we must be nearing an out
In Krakenaus I am now a believer
Running blind through the flurry of snow
Guided only by the page of a master
We know the wizard's here, he has pursued us this night
Greeted only by his hideous laughter
(Solo: Brett, Ron)
"You have betrayed me!", the wizard screams
In a second, he's sprouted demon's wings
Four words are spoken, "La Fem Acroche Ach"
And Krakenaus is - gone!
The wizard upon us, eyess lunatic, spells spewing from his mouth
Flames leap from his hands, not illusions
We think otherwise then we're engulfed in flames
Oh to die this way, when we're defenseless
The stench of blood will permeate a thousand miles around
Know that the strongest one will be there within seconds
Gracefully horrifying, the fin cuts the water
Viciuos selachii is ready to devour
(Solo: Ron)
Tail pushing left and right, a living flesh disposal
An unfelt touch against its grain would shred a hand to ribbins
Megatons of crushing power exerted on three hundred points
Conveyor belt of teeth makes sure that all will feel...
(Chorus)
Time and tme again
He must prove his formidability
Preying on the unsuspecting ones
Only need to masticate
White Death
This has stood the test of centuries
Preying on the unsuspecting ones
Only need to masticate
White Death
(solo: Brett, solo: Ron)
His eyes roll back and upper jaw is thrust out and
Cutting skin so easily and thrashing side to side so that
Now the wound inflicted will finish started work so he's
Circling the bleeding prey until it is anemic
(Solo: Brett)
Foolish man lowers his steel shark cage and
Attempting to control what he cannot control
While a devil that creates its own hell waits below
Its surroundings become the feared domain...
Strip mining was born man's desire
For maximum gain from minimum strain
Using water cannons they washed away
Entire mountainsides that are just desert today
The deluge lasted for too many years
So long ago, but even now it appears
The floods cut the ground like a sacrificial knife
Now just gravel and dust, three can never be life
Mountains that stood, the waves erased
Man disfigured, destroyed the earth's face
Only infertile sand, like the dot from a bleed
Annihilated, taken by greed
(Chorus)
Maceration - the constant erosion
Total immersion - They raped the Land
Massive infusion - man's inclination
Hydraulic destruction - They raped the Land
The unholy baptism
A lymph unstoppable
Mother Nature lies violated
Used against herself
The retrogradation
Soil wearing away
MAnkind is responsible
For mass decay
(Solo: Ron)
(Chorus)
Water is lifegiving fluid
It is the cause of revolution
And can recreate
Man, whose instinctive nature is evil
Puts limits on himself
But is always too late
Earth, our only terra firma
Invincibly cnstructed
Both of shale and slate
Together, it seems
That man is weakest
But still he's had the power granted to abate
the debasement of our environment
Continues today in different ways
Two steps too far it seems we've gone
Full circle now, a sick perversion
(Solo: Brett)
Surrounding weakened, a quick decline
Demoralized, the last in line
Now defeated, the earth rebels
The atmosphere a living hell
A man in the corner talk to himself
Drawing spiteful stares from the passerby
He doesn't sleep in doorways
Well maybe half the time
Still be is a man...
A body shared is a body still the same
A mind divided cannot be blamed
For the torment caused itself
And for others
Still he is a man...
Chorus:
A schizophrenic's like a mirror
In that they have two sides
The first and last of generations
Only two to survive
They peacefully coexist
Neither knows they're alive
Until two lives are torn apart
When these worlds collide
A genetic imbalance or pressure on the brain
He knows not the cause
It is the furthest thing from his mind
Lack of thought is not a problem
For this man of straw
So named for his fragility of state
(Chorus)
(Solo: Brett, Ron)
Unable to support himself
he's borderline
And quickly falling inward
Once a man became a shell,
nonsensical
Like negative emotion
