Meeting to discuss tax powers
By Gary McDonald Business Editor
DETAILS of how powers to vary corporation tax will work when they are devolved to Stormont
next year will be outlined to business leaders in Lisburn this morning.
Secretary of State Theresa Villiers has summoned members of Grow NI, the business body set up two years ago to campaign for enhanced fiscal powers, for what she says is a "significant announcement".
It is understood they will be presented with an 80-page draft copy of legislation, which is due to go before Westminster in the coming weeks.
