WWJ-TV, channel 62, is a CBS owned-and-operated television station located in Detroit, Michigan, United States. The station is owned by the CBS Television Stations subsidiary of CBS Corporation, as part of a duopoly with CW owned-and-operated station WKBD-TV (channel 50). The two stations share studio facilities in the Detroit suburb of Southfield; WWJ-TV's transmitter is located in Oak Park, Michigan.
The station is carried on several Canadian cable providers, predominately in the province of Ontario, and is one of five local Detroit television stations seen in Canada on satellite provider Shaw Direct.
WWJ is most notable for its brief weather forecast at 11 pm, when at the beginning of every forecast the meteorologist says "Two and a half Men, starts in two and a half minutes." At one point, viewers would submit videos of themselves saying the phrase. They would play the videos in a collage before before each forecast.
The station first signed on the air on September 29, 1975, as WGPR-TV (the callsign standing for "Where God's Presence Radiates"). The station was originally owned by WGPR Incorporated, formed by the Detroit-based International Free and Accepted Modern Masons. WGPR was the first wholly African American-owned television station in the United States, and was marketed towards Detroit's urban audience. At the time, WGPR's emergence was hailed as an advance for African-American enterprise, with the "color line" having been broken by the station's establishment. Station president William V. Banks, together with Jim Panagos and George White, sales and programming managers respectively of co-owned WGPR radio (107.5 FM), were the management team at the station's outset. Prior to WGPR-TV's sign-on, the channel 62 frequency had been used by WXON (now WMYD channel 20), which had originally broadcast on that channel when it signed on in 1968 before moving to channel 20 in 1972.
Detroit (/dᵻˈtrɔɪt/) is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan, the fourth-largest city in the Midwest and the largest city on the United States–Canada border. It is the seat of Wayne County, the most populous county in the state. Detroit's metropolitan area, known as Metro Detroit, is home to 5.3 million people, making it the fourteenth-most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the second-largest in the Midwestern United States (behind Chicago). It is a major port on the Detroit River, a strait that connects the Great Lakes system to the Saint Lawrence Seaway. The City of Detroit anchors the second-largest economic region in the Midwest, behind Chicago, and the thirteenth-largest in the United States.
Detroit is the center of a three-county urban area (population 3,734,090, area of 1,337 square miles (3,460 km2), a 2010 United States Census) six-county metropolitan statistical area (2010 Census population of 4,296,250, area of 3,913 square miles [10,130 km2]), and a nine-county Combined Statistical Area (2010 Census population of 5,218,852, area of 5,814 square miles [15,060 km2]). The Detroit–Windsor area, a commercial link straddling the Canada–U.S. border, has a total population of about 5,700,000. The Detroit metropolitan region holds roughly one-half of Michigan's population.
"A Boy" (Korean: 소년이여, Sonyeoniyeo) is a song recorded by the South Korean singer G-Dragon. It was released as the fourth and final single from his debut album Heartbreaker. G-Dragon stated that the song was released as an answer to the plagiarism controversy that surrounded his singles "Heartbreaker" and "Butterfly" when several people were telling him to quit singing, with G-Dragon answering that he "will not quit."
Although the end of G-Dragon's single "Breathe" included a teaser of "A Boy"'s music video, the single was not released as the following single. Instead, G-Dragon released the song "Butterfly." A couple of weeks after the release of "Butterfly," "Soneoniya" was officially confirmed and released as the fourth and final promotional single for the album. G-Dragon stated that the song's lyrics, which was written by the artist solely, are about the thoughts and struggles he went through as a young boy when he became YG trainee at the age of 13.

The final 10 minutes of WWJ-TV channel 4 in Detroit before it changed its call letters to WDIV. The Detroit News and the Washington Post traded flagship TV stations in 1978. This may have been an interesting time to do a scan. 14-5 is blank, 14-6 is exactly the same as the unlabeled 20-1. There are two virtual channel 20-1's and they are both Detroit stations. There are also duplicate 18-1 and 18-2's but one is a low powered Detroit station and the other is MyNetworkTV Lansing. 24-1 - 24-4 is NBC Toledo. This scan was done from a second floor apartment in Canton, Michigan using a DB4e antenna with the VHF kit. Because of the way the apartment is set up, the antenna is not pointed in the right direction, if it were it would have to travel throughout the entire apartment building. Video was filmed during 2 different times and it muted because my girlfriend was walking around and talking on the phone. This was filmed Thursday April 21, 2016.
