Candis Cayne is an American actress and performance artist.
Known in the New York City nightclub scene since the 1990s, Cayne came to national attention in 2007 for portraying transgender mistress Carmelita on ABC's prime time drama Dirty Sexy Money. The role makes Cayne the first transgender actress to play a recurring transgender character in prime time.
Cayne, known as Brendan McDaniel prior to her transition, and fraternal twin brother Dylan were born in 1971 in Maui where their parents taught at a Waldorf school, and the family lived on campus. McDaniel graduated from Maui's Baldwin High School in 1989 and then spent a year in Los Angeles, where she trained as a dancer.
McDaniel moved to New York in the early 1990s, making a name for herself as a choreographer and drag performer. Unaware of "what a transsexual was" until she lived in New York, about three years after her arrival McDaniel realized that the term described how she felt about herself. Already performing as "Candis Cayne" at New York gay bar Boy Bar and as a featured performer at Tour in New York's Chelsea, the entertainer also participated in Wigstock, the annual drag festival in the East Village. In 1995 Cayne appeared in the related documentary film Wigstock: The Movie, the comedy-drama film Stonewall, and the Universal Studios comedy film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, for which she also did choreography. Cayne began transitioning in 1996.[citation needed] In 1997 Cayne co-starred in the music video for RuPaul's "A Little Bit of Love" with female impersonator Jazzmun. Cayne also starred as the title character in the 1998 independent film Mob Queen, and won the 2001 Miss Continental pageant. In 2007 Cayne was cast as Annaka Manners in the 2007 RuPaul film Starrbooty.

Chorus: Charlie's gone where there is no touch
And none of the crew will miss him much
Charlie's gone to where he was grown
Living with others yet always alone
Charlie tried to be polite
But Charlie couldn't control his fear
Nor yet distinguish wrong from right
Nor laughter for fun from a jeer
But we who had to share this ship
With such a monster in shape of man
Are glad to see him end his trip
Right back where he first began
Charlie reached for someone's love
He never learned you must not use force
And underneath his velvet glove
Were talons of steel of course
And lashing out at all the crew
Until his Keepers had stopped his game
He never learned the things to do
To merit the human name
Charlie went back home today
We were not sorry to see him go
The magic tricks he chose to play
Made quite a remarkable show
Now he's left for a land of ghosts
With no one reaching to him at all
He hurt his friends and killed his hosts
Wake up, Charlie, rise and shine.
Pour the tea, I'll draw the blinds,
Sunlight halo, you look wonderful,
Darling, Charlie, pale and deathly still,
For heavens shake wake up Charlie.
Was a full moon last night, I was full of bravado.
Dead drunk, dead sure one of us had to go.
Raised my hand in anger, hurt you again.
Dust to dust and fire to ashes, you can
Thank me for nothing now, Charlie.
I was eaten up with jealousy,
Bones to pick and rumours to feed,
How my heart bleeds, love's a big mistake,
Mercy, Charlie, oh for pity's sake,
Forgive me, speak to me, Charlie.
Wake up, Charlie, rise and shine.
Pour the tea, I'll draw the blinds,
Sunlight halo, you look wonderful,
Darling, Charlie, pale and deathly still,
I could have been Charlie, I could have been dead
Could have been hopeless, put a hole in my head
There's a fine line between us, Charlie and me
Soon to be forgotten or remembered as a freak
His was a madness I identify with
I don't know who's scarier, him or me
He's already gone there, I'm on the same family tree
Cause Charlie had potential, just like me and you
Something in him misfired, it could happen to me too
I can see Charlie sitting on his hands
Drowning in his chaos and formulating plans
If I had stayed that day, it would have been me
Wishing for a handgun or a rope on a sturdy tree
When I wake up, I'm just like him
He's got madness I can get with
There is a beauty in succumbing to fear

Charlie don't let the girls hurt your heart
Don't let the angry boys tear you apart
I know you're tired of not fittin' in
But it's not fitting in that will help to begin
To show you, your beauty
Where is the red-headed girl?
The one with the green lunch box
Even though you had a brown paper bag
Sandwiches hard as rocks
Lunch was the happiest 45 minutes of the day
(Lunch was the happiest 45 minutes of the day)
For the red-headed angel would glide your way and say
"Hello, hello, Charlie hello"
Wake up it's after 9 and now you're late
Yellow school bus is brimming with hate
They love your face when it's blush as red
Get out of bed, you're stronger now
Get out of bed, you're stronger than before
Get out of your bed
Where is that red-headed girl?
The one with the green lunch box
Even though you had a brown paper bag
Sandwiches hard as rocks
Lunch was the happiest 45 minutes of the day

For the red-headed angel would glide your way and say
"Hello, hello, Charlie hello
Hello, hello, Charlie hello
Hello, hello, Charlie hello
Now be free
The sky must have fallen when I couldn't see
Your life's weak strain, I take a step back and you've fallen again
But if you'd listened a little closer, reaching over this cold shoulder
And oh Charlie, a boy and his toys
I see you lying stiff and cold, spread out upon the bedroom floor
Kiss me darling with those pale lips once more
Hands could never comfort you, not so well as steel could do
Freak on in, did you think this time you would finally win a trip of life
But if you'd listened a little closer, reaching over this cold shoulder
And oh Charlie, a boy and his toys
I see you lying stiff and cold, spread out upon the bedroom floor
Kiss me darling with those pale lips once more
Hands could never comfort you, not so well as steel could do
Reeling spinning out of lies
Daisy vision in your eyes
Boat is sinking someone cries
You have left me to surmise your surprise
Oh Charlie, a boy and his toys
I see you lying stiff and cold on the bedroom floor
Kiss me darling with those pale lips once more
Hands could never comfort you, not so well as steel could do

son ombre glisse et sa semelle claque
Charlie caresse le trottoir
il n'a que les os, l'esprit et la peau
Charlie va danser ce soir
allez Charlie
tiens-toi droit
c'que c'est beau
quand elle coule
la riviere de sang chaud
la ils se tiennent au fond
le temps et le son
pour la vie, sweet little blues
accroche toi aux plis
de la melodie
qui ne sait pas qui elle suit
Charlie, Charlie
les filles fondent
vieux salaud
la elle coule
la riviere de sang chaud
le coeur dans les tempes
la tempete au ventre
Charlie sort et se perd
dans le dedale des rues
ou un taxi le prend
sur son capot d'argent
maintenant dans l'eau sale
elle traine sa bouche pale
au fond du caniveau
ou elle coule, ou elle coule,
ou elle coule, ou elle coule,
Yeah, uh huh!
Yeah, uh huh!
No, oh no, Charlie oh no, oh no
All the time you wonder why
People always tell you that you're oh so strange
You hide a funny face behind the head of hair
You never care what they say (You never did)
Everyone would love you the way that I love you
But they don't (oh no) they don't know you like I do
Charlie, oh how starstruck in your eyes
Just one look and we're all hypnotized
Charlie, you're like sunlight in the rain and if you go
The world without you just won't be the same
Don't try to hide a smile
If you shop and walk with me you'll be fine
Let it go, because you know that all
I wanna do is be by your side (by your side)
Everyone would love you the way that I love you
But they don't (oh no) they don't know you like I do
Charlie, oh how starstruck in your eyes (in your eyes)
Just one look and we're all hypnotized
(One look and we're all hypnotized)
Charlie, you're like sunlight in the rain and if you go
The world without you just won't be the same
Got a diamond in the rough
Pretty sweet but lookin' tough
Somethin' about you, so mysterious (mysterious)
Just so perfect how you are
You'd be the biggest superstar
If you'd quit acting oh so serious
Everyone would love you the way that I love you
But they don't (oh no) they don't know you like I do
Charlie, oh how starstruck in your eyes
(And you're so beautiful)
Just one look and we're all hypnotized
(We're all hypnotized)
Charlie, you're like sunlight in the rain and if you go
The world without you just won't be the same
(So keep shinin uh-huh)
The world without you just won't be the same
Oh Charlie's neat, Charlie's sweet
Charlie is a dandy
And every time he goes to town
He brings me sugar candy
I don't want none of your weebly wheat
Don't want none of your barley
Just take some flour and in half an hour
You'll bake a cake for Charlie
It's Charlie here it's Charlie there
It's Charlie over the ocean
And Charlie he'll come back again
If he don't change his notion
My pretty little pink I once did think
I'll never do without you
But since I lost all hope with you
I care very little about you
How old are you my pretty little miss
How old are you my honey
If I don't die of a broken heart
I'll be sixteen on Sunday
My rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink-timma-doo-doh
Rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink timma-doo-doh
Now can you court my pretty little miss
Now can you court my flower
I'll court more in a minute and a half
Than you can in an hour
Oh rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink-timma-doo-doh
Rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink timma-doo-doh
Oh marry me my pretty little miss
Oh marry me good looking
I'll marry you but I won't do
Your washing or your cooking
Oh rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink-timma-doo-doh
Rink-timma-dink timma-diddle-lie-dum
Rink-timma-dink timma-doo-doh
Oh Charlie he's a nice young man
Oh Charlie he's a dandy

Where have you been?
Bruises on your body, a flesh wound on your chin
Why won't they do something?
Why won't they do something?
Why won't anyone do something?
You're calling out for mummy, but there's no one there
And now you're all surrounded but no one can hear
When will they do something?
Why won't they do something?
When will anyone do something?
Try to leave a mark
Who wants to live in vain?
But they won't ever listen
I'm waiting for the sun to take away the rain
Singing "it's gonna be okay"
You lost the grip of her hand as the gun fell to the ground
It's hard to slip and then land without making any sound
Why won't they do something?
Why won't they do something?
Why won't anyone do something?
Charlie, Charlie, Charlie
Where have you been?
Went looking for your ethics in the recycle bin
When will they do something?
Why won't they do something?
When will anyone do something?
Try to leave a mark
Who wants to live in vain?
But they won't ever listen
I'm waiting for the sun to take away the rain
Singing "it's gonna be okay"
Singing "it's gonna be okay"
The tallest trees will tell you I wasn't like this from the start
But if you really love me, lock me up when it gets dark
I've been inside this body for twenty-seven years
I know they stole my laughter, they will never get my tears
Try to leave a mark
Who wants to live in vain?
But no one ever listens
I'm waiting for the sun to take away the rain
Singing "it's gonna be okay"
Singing "it's gonna be okay"
Talk to her, she yearns for conversation. Arms crossed, foot tapping in frustration. She’s getting impatient, thinking, what’s gone on here? Take her hand and don’t let go. Spin her around like a ballerina. She always dreamed you had it in you. Let her rest her head on your chest. She longs to feel your heart beat. Don’t be alarmed if she cries. She loves you, your ballerina loves you. Don’t talk about fair, when you haven’t even been there. She doesn’t see right or wrong or reasons, excuses. She sees red and blue and now you and she wonders if she can forgive again. Take her hand and don’t let go. Spin her around like a ballerina. She always dreamed you had it in you. Let her rest her head on your chest. She longs to feel your heart beat. Don’t be alarmed if she cries. She loves you, your ballerina loves you. You’re a dad now, don’t let her down now. Always keep room for her. She’s still your baby girl. Just a little older, your ballerina needs you. Take her hand and don’t let go. Spin her around like a ballerina. She always dreamed you had it in you. Let her rest her head on your chest. She longs to feel your heart beat. Don’t be alarmed if she cries. She loves you, your ballerina loves you. She loves you, your ballerina loves you.
charlie had a mission
charlie had a quest
charlie had a question that stumped the very best
how do i get a girl close enough to me
to make her mine perpetually?
charlie never got an answer that he used
but due his results he should be excused
charlie had a mission
charlie had a dream
charlie had ambition like you have never seen
charlie had one driving goal in his life
to get a woman close enough to him to make her his wife
he had plenty of shots at the opposite sex
but he always uttered a pessimistic hex
wrong time wrong place
wrong person wrong clothes
and to top it off you got a funny nose
charlie hung at bookstores
charlie hung at bars
he could make a book for his emotional scars
charlie thought that he had reached the end of his rope
when a leggy blonde masqueraded by as hope
charlie staked his life in this...his last attempt
he strutted up beside her and grumbled "ahem!"
[chorus]
charlie got a girl
charlie got a gal
charlie was a squirrel she was his peanut pal
they did everything together both day and night
and despite cohabitation they rarely had a fight
but charlie's dame was a camaro who soon became a hearse
that's when charlie uttered the familiar curse
[chorus]
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
The Amazing Chocolatier.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
Everybody give a cheer!
He's modest, cleaver, and so smart,
He can barely restrain it.
With so much generosity,
There is no way to contain it...
To contain...to contain...to contain...to contain.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
He's the one that you're about to meet.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
He's a genius who just can't be beat.
The magician and the chocolate wiz...
The best darn guy who ever lived.
Willy Wonka here he is!

You, you, you, you. Our house still stands though your room is empty, our car still goes though you can’t drive it. I thought I knew when you died the sun wouldn’t even want to shine. With you gone who’ll save my days, with you gone where’s reason. I don’t want to feel, I want to feel numb, I don’t want to breath when you don’t. You, you, you, you. My heart’s still beating when yours wont, I saw the morning though you won’t. This can’t be right, I can’t be here, without you what’s left of me? I’ll give you all my heart beats, I’ll give you all my mornings. I don’t want to feel, I want to feel numb, I don’t want to breath when you don’t. Taught me so much, changed the way I think, gave me so much trust, let me so far in. Gave me chances, no one else compares, I’ll be better beside… You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. I can’t look at her because I see you, I’m angry because she never knew you. I take her to see you every day and we lay flowers on your grave. You were more than my friend, you were my oxygen. I don’t want to feel, I want to feel numb. I don’t want to breathe when you don’t. You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you.
Insomnia’s lullaby, drinking wine and counting down the time. You know what time it is, so quickly it has crept. You see the look in his eyes it’s time to undress. You’ve been stressed, there’s no rest, till you win the battle with your mind. Insomnia’s lullaby, drinking wine and counting down the time. Sleep’s knocking at your door but refuses to come in. He laughs at your weeping, this is his doing. Come in, you beg him, he is now an ally to your mind. Insomnia’s lullaby, drinking wine and counting down the time. Sleep hasn’t been in four days but won’t let you wake. Tests you beyond midnight, how much can you take? Your legs ache, there’s no break. Will you surrender to your mind? Insomnia’s lullaby, drinking wine and counting down the time. I can’t sleep, I can’t breathe, I fill these empty spaces, oh.
Tongue tied, trying to get the words out.
Dead airs all that's playing in this car.
What's wrong why are you so nervous,
For someone who was such a jerk.
Your big head is suddenly deflated,
Cause you thought that you had the wheel.
This time I’m the one who's leaving,
The tables will be turning now.
You had me spun,
but look who's coming undone.
Now I’m good good good as gone,
I was right right that you were so wrong.
But it's to late now to try and get me back.
You can knock knock knock on my door,
But I’m not not yours anymore.
And the best revenge is to write this song
Gotta get it out and move right on.
Yeah I’m good good good yeah I’m good as
Good good good yeah I’m good as
Good good good yeah I’m good as gone.
You had, you had a million chances,
But strike three it's time to call you out.
Too bad cause i know i'm the best thing,
That you wish that you still had.
I’m out of here,
Won't shed a tear.
Not that you'd even care.
Good bye,
The end,
You'll never see me again.
I was good good as gone,
I was right right that you were so wrong.
Now I’m good good good as gone,
I was right right that you were so wrong.
But it's to late now to try and get me back.
You can knock knock knock on my door,
But I’m not not yours anymore.
And the best revenge is to write this song
Gotta get it out and move right on.
Yeah I’m good good good yeah I’m good as
Good good good yeah I’m good as
No u-turns little boy, you’ve had enough chances. No detours back to me, because honey we’re well and truly finished. We’ve reached our destination, we’re done and dusted. I’m warning you, there’s no coming back to me. You used me like a ladder my old friend, then you pushed me, the ladder over. There’s no coming back down. You used me like a map my old friend, but you’ve gone too far. I won’t get you where you want this time. No u-turns little boy, you’ve had enough chances. No detours back to me, because honey we’re well and truly finished. We’ve reached our destination, we’re done and dusted. I’m warning you, there’s no coming back to me. You didn’t stay to do right my old friend, you stayed because you doubted you’d survive. You look at me with such pity in your eyes. I’ll let you in on a secret, I was so relieved this time. No u-turns little boy, you’ve had enough chances. No detours back to me, because honey we’re well and truly finished. We’ve reached our destination, we’re done and dusted. I’m warning you, there’s no coming back to me.
We’ll get lost in the tall grass, we won’t know which way to turn, but to each other. We’ll make love in the tall grass, and we’ll never want to leave this forest again. Somebody stopped caring for this field but you’ll never love me like you do here. The vines could wrap themselves around me but I wouldn’t fight. As long as they’ve got you I’ve got you to. In the tall grass, in tall grass. Here I wear this dress, I know that you love this dress. I wear my hair down. It’s dark but not cold, it’s late but I don’t want to go. Love me here in the tall grass. Somebody stopped caring for this field but you’ll never love me like you do here. The vines could wrap themselves around me but I wouldn’t fight. As long as they’ve got you I’ve got you to. In the tall grass, in the tall grass. We will live off each other. Stay with me in the forest, we will grow together, tall with the grass. We couldn’t be closer, seen only by trees, naked in your arms. Somebody stopped caring for this field but you’ll never love me like you do here. The vines could wrap themselves around me but I wouldn’t fight. As long as they’ve got you I’ve got you to. In the tall grass, in the tall grass. We will live off each other.
It’s scary when your mumma cries, from watching your slow decline get faster and stronger, sees you lose all control, you know your pain is killing her. All reasoning’s are gone now it’s not just you, she looks you in the eye and says she just can’t do this much any more, it’s just not right, please give it a try. Little white saviours, I swear to you I don’t need to be saved. Bruised knees, from begging you to let me walk away. Can I do this alone? Little, little, little, little, little whites. Can I do this alone? It’s scary when you’ve got no choice, with the doctors and in your head that voice, telling you you’re unstable but you’re ok, they’re bad for you as he signs away, a little piece of paper that could change your life, a script for a hundred of them little whites. A cold glass of water, they go down fine. At once you’re addicted to the little white saviours. I swear to you I don’t need to be saved. Bruised knees, From begging you to let me walk away. Can I do this alone? Little, little, little, little, little whites. Can I do this alone? It’s scary when you sit in that chair and you plead to him that it is not working. Your lips start to tremble, your chest is tight, your mind isn’t coping with the little whites. He writes on his paper says you need more time, a script for a hundred of them little whites. A cold glass of water they go down fine and you’re still addicted to the little white saviours, I swear to you I don’t need to be saved. Bruised knees, from begging you to let me walk away. Can I do this alone? Little, little, little, little, little whites. Can I do this alone? Can I do this alone? Little, little, little, little, little whites. Can I do this alone?
Touching your skin makes me happy, when I feel it but not after. Because it makes my heart go crazy because it’s just how far we’ll go. I can’t be with you and not be one with you, there is no half way I can’t be me without you. I’ll take you away to a far away sea, where I can love you because I can’t love you here. It’s forbidden but I need you , I know it’s wrong but it’s real, I admit this has gone too far away. Will you let me? I could let you touch my face and kiss me slowly. But think of all the hearts that we’d be breaking, by giving ours what they need? I can’t be with you and not be one with you, there is no half way. I can’t be me without you. I’ll take you away to a far away sea, where I can love you because I can’t love you here. It’s forbidden but I need you , I know it’s wrong but it’s real, I admit this has gone too far away. Will you let me? I’ll flee this town I can’t be here with you and I don’t think that you’ll come to. Stop begging me to stay here and be one with you. I can’t avoid their eyes. I can’t be near you and not be one with you, there is no half way I can’t be me without you. I’ll take you away to a far away sea, where I can love you because I can’t love you here. It’s forbidden but I need you , I know it’s wrong but it’s real, I admit this has gone too far away. Will you let me? You take me driving to the ferris wheel and something changes, this kiss is real. Your hands assure me, that your arms are stronger than their eyes. Where I can love you. It’s forbidden but I need you, I know it’s wrong but it’s real, I admit this has gone too far away. Will you let me?
They wake up in the morning and laugh at last night’s cricket game, things have changed. She fixes his tie and he passes her handbag every day, things have changed. They get in the 1962 model they’ve had since new, things have changed. Her eightieth birthday is near and she fears that his breathing will change. He’s eighty-five now and she prays that his heart will stay as strong as when she met him. They’ve sat through so much change without complaint, let his heart stay the same. He opens the door for her, he’s always been such a gentleman, things have changed. She holds the hand she’s held for sixty-two years, the skin is old now, things have changed. He reads the paper, she chats to the waitress, she’s got so many stories to tell, of things that changed .Her eightieth birthday is near and she fears that his breathing will change. He’s eighty-five now and she prays that his heart will stay as strong as when she met him. They’ve sat through so much change without complaint, let his heart stay the same. Sixty-two years ago when she met him, sixty-two years ago when she loved him. Sixty-two years ago when she married him, let his heart stay the same. Till death do them part and she prays that that day will be far away. They’ve sat through so much change without complaint, let his heart stay the same.
Her world’s crumbling, my help she needs. It seems my arms are as my words weak. I’m the fallen hero, who was as blind as optimistic that she’s fine. There is my mother, in the dark room. Lay in my lap for a little while. This is a season, only a mood. It will be over soon. Her tears are pouring, a summer time flood, in which I’m drowning. The season has come. One we expected but dreaded all the same. Now I can’t help myself I blame. There is my mother, in the dark room. Lay in my lap for a little while. This is a season, only a mood. It will be over soon. I steal some air, pull myself together. There’s so many things that I want to tell her. I grab her shoulders wanting to shake. I beg you my word you can take. There is my mother, in the dark room. Lay in my lap for a little while. This is a season, only a mood. It will be over soon. And I’ll turn your light on and I’ll turn your light on. I rock forward, backward again. Beautiful sleeper, rest through the pain. Early tomorrow you’ll wake with the sun. I’ll hold you till the hurt is done.
Bello hold my hand, Bello make me feel right. Bello don’t speak my language but he reads my body like a book. Make me a women Bello, you’re teasing like I’m a girl. Get to know me Bello make my toes curl. I’m no girl anymore, I won’t let you tell me that I’m not ready for you and to do what my mumma told me not to do and she warned me of you but Bello I crave you. We’ll go running through the vineyards, breathing in Italian air, not the fire come keep me warm. Make me a women Bello, you’re teasing like I’m a girl. Get to know me Bello make my toes curl. I’m no girl anymore, I won’t let you tell me that I’m not ready for you and to do what my mumma told me not to do and she warned me of you but Bello I crave you. Make me a women Bello, you’re teasing like I’m a girl. Get to know me Bello make my toes curl. I’m no girl anymore, I won’t let you tell me that I’m not ready for you and to do what my mumma told me not to do and she warned me of you but Bello I crave you. Bello show me the way, keep me for the night. Read me like you said you would tonight.

Watching T.V. - the American shows
Watching T.V. - with those super heroes
Watching T.V. - and I'm gonna be someone just like them someday
Well, I like T.V., 'cause it shows me what the world's all about
And I watch endlessly, every car chase, every fatal shoot-out
I wanna be like Starsky & Hutch, and those
Sweet Charlie's Angels say 'Look, but don't touch'
I wanna be in Hawaii-Five-O, I say
'No way, McGarret, let's go!'
Watching T.V. - the American shows
Watching T.V. - with those super heroes
Watching T.V. - and I'm gonna be someone just like them someday
And I like cop shows, all that action and the life on the street
And I dig Harry-O and Steve Austin, well, he's never been beat
I wanna be like the bionic man
And break down iron doors with one blow of my hand
Run like a cheetah - fight with such flair -
Jump thirty feet in the air
Watching T.V. - the American shows
Watching T.V. - with those super heroes
Watching T.V. - and I'm gonna be someone just like them someday
I live each day just waiting for the time
My heroes come to me ... on my T.V.
Watching T.V. - the American shows
Watching T.V. - with those super heroes
Watching T.V. - and I'm gonna be someone just like them someday
Oh, I love Star Trek, Captain James Kirk, he's the Master of Space
And there's Scott's flight deck, beams the crew down to another strange place
I wanna travel the aeons of time
Speed through the cosmos at warp factor nine
Beat off the Klingons with phasers on stun
Killing strange people is fun
Watching T.V. - the American shows
Watching T.V. - with those super heroes
Watching T.V. - and I'm gonna be someone just like them someday

The Seventh Day, the day of rest, we're told
It's Church Parade, time to save your soul
Armageddon's on its way, insure against the coming day
Your premium's due it's time to pay, so please pass the tray
Your sins laid bare, preacher hits you strong
But don't despair, he'll soon forgive your wrongs
Contributions guarantee, eternal freedom, ecstasy
Just pay the price and then you'll be ...
No strangers in Paradise ...
The Altar's gold, congregation's poor
Salvation sold, costs a little more
Contributions guarantee, eternal freedom, ecstasy
Just pay the price and then you'll be ...
No strangers in Paradise ...
Yeah I’m good good good yeah I’m good as
Good good good yeah I’m good as
Good good good yeah I’m good as gone
neat side-effect
neat side-effect
full of defect
youre bathing in mud
neat side-effect
like keen slice with tooth
close to the fact, fill-up 50/50
finger planters, frozen dead
shiny marbles, in their eyes
i grind them up
then twinkle circle
shine on my eyes, shine on my eyes
lay scattered
again i see
just another type of crime
happened like cell division
you got your neck out of a halter but you got stiff
neck
you got ten ways to get out of there but you got blank
mind
you got your neck out of a halter but you keep
forgetting it
i drag out my trap from my closet
finger planters, still out there
shiny marbles killed them down
how many circles if counted?
more than ten shine on my head
lay scattered
again i see
just another type of crime
happened in my brain mixed up and burst!
...to catch a tapir...

youre bathing in mud
neat side-effect

full of connect, your face is in mud
neat side-effect leads you defect
50 gravity gives you vanity
i stab in his head again and again
you got your neck out of a halter...
you got ten ways to get out of there...
you got your neck out of a halter but you keep
forgetting it
i drag out my trap from my closet
...to catch a tapir to give my nightmare...
A-Charlie come, a-Charlie comeA-bubble gum
Charlie!
Burstin' your bubble like a Hubba Bubba nightmare
Charlie
Pink Mr Doom
Feel my chewy justice
Wrapping around your heart and mind and ripcage
Wrapping around your heart, your mind, your soul
We can jellico, we can jellico
Burstin' your bubble like a Hubba Bubba nightmare
Peering out of piercing eyes
He tells a tale of catonic demise
You are every one of us
And so much more than everything he cries
And innocence is relative to
Permanence you'll never live to see
So make your last obsessions and
Prepare your last confessions, follow me
Vampires and acrobats, computers and subway rats are
Ripping through my head
And cocaine girls write melodies of glorious fidelities, I dread
She says it as she's ripping me to shreds.
Madness makes a man become a martyr in the war for black and white
And solitary torture builds a character of unrelenting fright
So he lashes 'gainst the masses carrying a flag of burning doubt
Billows over bridges till the cities and the villages wash out
Vampires and acrobats, computers and subway rats are
Ripping through my head
And cocaine girls write melodies of glorious fidelities, I dread
She says it as she's ripping me to shreds.
Vampires and acrobats, computers and subway rats are
Ripping through my head

Well I was born December seventeenth, 1986
And I was cut out of my momma, just another new-born Texas kid
I met my brother on a wednesday, that day I don't remember much
But I knew that what we started, nobody else could ever touch
And I was born to protect you, you were born to protect me
Until we're both a couple of goners, that's the way it's gonna be
Brother, don't let anyone tell you what to do
Hey Charlie, well this one's for you
Yeah this one's for you
Well I miss playing hours of 64, I miss sharing a room
I miss playing baseball in the driveway,
And I miss when you used to say now batting Moises Alou
I thought we'd make it to that big show,
I thought we'd be first round draft picks
But I was always better than you baby,
You gotta stop swinging at that high pitch
And we ran away from church, ran away from school
We were climbing up that mountain, acting out movie scenes in the pool
We rode those go peds into the sunset, fearless and true
Hey Charlie, well this one's for you
Yeah this one's for you
Yeah this one's for you, yeah this one's for you
Yeah this one's for you, yeah well this one's for you
Yeah well this one's for you, yeah well this one's for you
Yeah well this one's for you, yeah well this one's for you
Yeah well this one's for you, yeah well this one's for you
Yeah well this one's for you, yeah well this one's for you
Charlie was a good boy,
He lived in a summer house
Never seen such things
Like zebras or giraffes
Emily was a good girl
She never skipped a class
She never heard of not married or a single life
Oh and Charlie,
You know that we need to talk
Oh cause surely
You know that people are worrying about
And charlie was a good boy,
He kept his dick in a jar
Never seen them beautiful films
Or seen paintings of modern art, no
Emily was a good girl,
Only one drink at her local bar
Never experienced such things
As throwing up on a monday night
Oh and Charlie
You know we need a serious talk
Cause surely
We wanna know were you've been spending time
Oh yeah now
Oh Emily's left the nest
Oh yeah now
Oh Charlie has met a girl
Oh and Charlie
You know we need a serious talk
Cause surely
We wanna know were you've been spending time
Oh and now
Oh Emily's left the nest
Oh yeah now
Oh Charlie has gone away
With ten dollars in his pocket and nothing to loose
Ten dollars in his pocket and nothing to loose
He wants to try and try and try
To find himself
Just wanna fuck himself
And don't expect him back
Get own with your own life
And Charlie is still a good boy
You fucking thing
I waste my life
waste petty cash
disrupt my peace
I just can’t seem to make you die
You fucking thing
you waste my life

charlie was a message from a higher place
waiting for delivery, could see it in his face
charlie was a cloud layer, held a mountain in his hands
he flew like a raindrop
didn't like to land
charlie didn't like crowds all up in his face
he was a long distance runner in the human race
charlie was a vision, stick to your mind
like a big wet kiss on the face of time
charlie had a dog friend, best old friend he had
didn't understand good
didn't know about bad
good is a concept like a loaf of bread
feed the living, say grace for the dead
charlie was eating food for thought
it was the best damn meal that he ever got
feeling ethereal
he floated away
he did not worry
he did it twice a day
