Things To Do In BELGRADE Serbia. Belgrade Top 11. Belgrade is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, and a city with the most turbulent history. As more and more people move there, Belgrade is growing and now has almost 2 million inhabitants. Serbia’s capital has been compared to Berlin in the 90s. There’s brutalist architecture from the former socialist Yugoslavia, food so fatty it can give you an instant heart attack – and there’s the famous nightlife, with clubs catering to all tastes. Belgrade Serbia - Europe's Best Kept Secret
Belgrade Serbia was once the capital of Yugoslavia but now it's the party capital of Europe. Belgrade is also one of the most affordable capital cities in all of Europe! Serbia has had quite a turbulent past but now has emerged with a vibrant cafe culture, unique architecture, and a lively nightlife. Serbian food is so delicious too. Ana's dad grew up in Serbia and moved to America when he was 25. It was amazing meeting up with her family to get the authentic Serbian experience. We visited Kalemegdan, Belgrade Fortress, Ada Ciganlija, Knez Mihailova. This city is truly one of a kind

25 years ago, NATO troops began bombing Yugoslavia as part of Operation "Allied Force". The alliance's airstrikes lasted 78 days and hit not only military but also civilian infrastructure. The operation took place without the approval of the UN Security Council, which was a gross violation of international law and, in fact, an act of aggression against a sovereign country. Those events claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent people, marked the beginning of the end of the existence of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and also caused colossal environmental damage to the territory of modern Serbia.
The list of victims of that long-standing war continues to grow. About 30 thousand people get cancer in Serbia every year alone. Research has recognized that uranium is to blame for everything.
At last count, a total of 15 thousand tons of depleted uranium were dropped on Serbia. Its particles were carried by winds and settled in soil and water. Areas contaminated with radioactive dust still pose a terrible threat to local residents.
The alliance's operation turned out to be merciless not only to the soldiers of Milosevic's army, but also to those who had to live on this land years after those terrible events. How did it happen that no one condemned the uranium bombings?

Belgrade (Belgrado, Beograd or Београд 2024 дрон) is a beautiful city of almost 2 million citizens in its metropolitan area. Belgrade is the capital of Serbia and the third largest city of the Danube River. Beograd means literally the White City. Belgrade is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and it was founded on the shores of the Sava and the Danube rivers on the Pannonia Plain of the Balkan Peninsula. The city was long part of the Byzantine Empire and adopted the Greek Orthodox Religion. The Greeks Kyrillos and Methodios developed the Serbian alphabet which was based on the Greek Alphabet. Later on the city came under Hungarian and Ottoman rule and the Serbians resisted the foreign empires with continuous wars and the struggle for independence which left the city in ruins. Belgrade was however well defended at Kalemegdan with the Belgrade Fortress. During the Yugoslavian War the city was bombed by NATO forces. Nowadays the city is very vivid and lively and at the waterfront many new skyscrapers are being built. The main building is the Belgrade Tower.

The experience of the latter meets the inspiration of the former a very vital platform for the film world to participate in. Since 2009 hosting of art, animation, demo reels and acting samples of new and forthcoming talent. In 2010, the prize "Dialogue en perspective", sponsored by the French television channel TV5 Monde in cooperation with the German-French Youth Office, Filmbay was awarded for the first time. The prize jury has eight members: it is headed by a president, a professional whose work represents the cinematographic dialogue between France, Italy and Germany, and further consists of four French and three German members, who are selected by the prize donators by means of a public call for application.

Ustaše: The Men Who SCARED The Nazis
The history of humans is full of terrifying, adn even disgusting events. Many of them, such as the Holocaust, the great Chinese famine, or the Russian gulags, but for some bizarre reason, many of those events have been lost to the eternal void of history archives... and one of those events was the rule of the Ustase in Croatia...
Today, we will embark on a journey marked by extreme brutality, sadism, and human barbarity as we explore the disturbing reality of life under the Ustase dictatorship from 1941 to 1945 in Croatia... Enjoy!

The good, the better & the silly: looking back at #Eduwiki2023 in Belgrade | wikis and wikipedia
Teaching #Wikipedia: in 2023, 120 people from the Wikimedia movement met in Belgrade, Serbia, for the Eduwiki Conference. The last one took place in 2019 in The Basque Country.
This video is a compilation mainly of streaming videos from the conference. It gives you an impression of the conference and its topics. With Shani Evenstein Sigalov, Annie Rauwerda, LiAnna Davis, Mohammad Hijjawi, Florence Devouard, Nebojša Ratković, Bukola James and many others.
Maybe you want to check out a contribution on the official streaming video. Sorry that I could not include everybody in this compilation, I wanted to make it not too long.
The conference was organized by the Wikipedia & Education User Group, of which I am a board member.

How Macedonism Saved Macedonians
The existence of the Macedonian nation is unfortunately viewed as an anti-Bulgarian plot created by an outside hostile force. Is the Macedonian nation inherently anti-Bulgarian and who is responsible for its existence? I felt that it was important to make a video on this topic because i believe that the mainstream thesis on the Macedonian ethnogenesis in Bulgaria is only doing harm to Bulgaria and the Macedono-Bulgarian relations. Besides, this channel is called "PublicNemesisMedia", it's one of its main points to challenge mainstream narratives. Also, this might be my most provocative video yet, but it's in good faith (feel free to have a laugh).

For the single by Capital Bra, see Neymar (song). For the Belgrade neighbourhood, see Neimar.
This name uses Portuguese naming customs: the first or maternal family name is da Silva and the second or paternal family name is Santos.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior (Brazilian Portuguese: [nejˈmaʁ dɐ ˈsiwvɐ ˈsɐ̃tus ˈʒũɲoʁ]; born 5 February 1992), known as Neymar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He is widely considered as one of the best players in the world.[7][8]
Neymar came into prominence at Santos, where he made his professional debut aged 17. He helped the club win two successive Campeonato Paulista championships, a Copa do Brasil, and the 2011 Copa Libertadores; the latter being Santos' first since 1963. Neymar was twice named the South American Footballer of the Year, in 2011 and 2012, and soon relocated to Europe to join Barcelona. As part of Barcelona's attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, he won the continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, and finished third for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2015 for his performances. He then attained a domestic double in the 2015–16 season. In 2017, Neymar transferred from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in a move worth €222 million, making him the most expensive player ever.[note 1] In France, Neymar won three league titles, two Coupe de France, and two Coupe de la Ligue, which included a domestic treble and being voted Ligue 1 Player of the Year in his debut season.[11] Neymar helped PSG attain a domestic quadruple in the 2019–20 season, and led the club to its first ever Champions League Final.
With 61 goals in 101 matches for Brazil since debuting at age 18, Neymar is the third highest goalscorer for his national team, trailing only Pelé and Ronaldo. He was a key player in Brazil's victories at the 2011 South American Youth Championship, where he finished as leading goalscorer, and the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. His participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2015 Copa América was cut short by injury and a suspension, respectively, before captaining Brazil to their first Olympic gold medal in men's football at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Two years later, Neymar featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Off the pitch, Neymar ranks among the world's most prominent sportsmen; SportsPro named him the most marketable athlete. In 2017, Neymar was included by Time in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world.[12] By 2018, France Football ranked Neymar the world's third highest-paid footballer, and in 2019, Forbes ranked him the world's third highest-paid athlete.
This article is about the overall concept of games called football. For the balls themselves, see Football (ball). For specific versions of the game and other uses of the term, see Football (disambiguation).
Football is a family of team sports that involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball to score a goal. Unqualified, the word football normally means the form of football that is the most popular where the word is used. Sports commonly called football include association football (known as soccer in some countries); gridiron football (specifically American football or Canadian football); Australian rules football; rugby football (either rugby union or rugby league); and Gaelic football.[1][2] These various forms of football share to varying extent common origins and are known as football codes.
There are a number of references to traditional, ancient, or prehistoric ball games played in many different parts of the world.[3][4][5] Contemporary codes of football can be traced back to the codification of these games at English public schools during the 19th century.[6][7] The expansion and cultural influence of the British Empire allowed these rules of football to spread to areas of British influence outside the directly controlled Empire.[8] By the end of the 19th century, distinct regional codes were already developing: Gaelic football, for example, deliberately incorporated. The Football League was founded in England, becoming the first of many professional football competitions. During the 20th century.

Lyrics:
Look into the mirror
You'll see a beast so cruel
The creature of terror
You know that beast is you
Nature's worst error
All Nightmares will come true
Unending horror
The bringer of Doom
Show your true face
Intolerance and hate
Using brute force
Destroy without remorse
Rid of all bounds
To make his own rules
Haunted by truth
And the carriage he pulls
The spirit crusher
Destroyer of flesh
The need for power
And power is cash
Using pain for gain
All rights go down the drain
Impossible to start again
You've never felt strain
You've never been ashamed
Our lives will never be the same

Following his term as Attorney General Clark worked as a law professor and was active in the anti-Vietnam War movement. He visited North Vietnam in 1972 as a protest against the bombing of Hanoi. He was also associated with the New York law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison before resigning to run for political office.
In 1974, Clark was nominated in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senator from New York defeating the party's designee Lee Alexander, but losing the election to the incumbent Jacob K. Javits. In 1976, Clark again sought the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate, but was a distant third in the primary behind Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Congresswoman Bella Abzug.
Attorney General Clark & President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1967.
More recently, Clark has become controversial for his left-wing political views and publications. He has described the War on Terrorism as a war against Islam.[6]
In 1991, Clark's Coalition to Stop US Intervention in the Middle East opposed the US-led war and sanctions against Iraq. Clark accused the administration of President George H. W. Bush, J. Danforth Quayle, James Baker, Richard Cheney, William Webster[disambiguation needed], Colin Powell, Norman Schwarzkopf and "others to be named" of "crimes against peace, war crimes" and "crimes against humanity" for its conduct of the Gulf War against Iraq and the ensuing sanctions; in 1996, he added the charges of genocide and the "use of a weapon of mass destruction". Similarly, after the 1999 NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Ramsey charged and "tried" NATO on 19 counts and issued calls for its dissolution. Ramsey also traveled to Belgrade to receive an honorary doctorate from Belgrade University.
Ramsey Clark has been criticized by both opponents and supporters for some of the people he agreed to defend; this criticism has been exacerbated by some statements Clark has made in defense of his clients.
