Footage of a Police Shooting and a K9 saving his ass. The K9 is deployed from his police car when the passenger of the suspects vehicle attempts to sneak up on the deputy from behind. The Deputy observes the butt of a gun the driver is trying to get out from his waistline. The passenger door creeps open from the hidden second suspect and the deputy hits his door release for his K9 partner to engage the suspect. The Deputies focus on the immediate threat saves him from being shot. The K9's focus and fearless apprehension saves both of them. Gunfire and chaos but the K9 does his job and the officer shoots the suspect as he pulls the gun from his waist. The K9 engages the second suspect just before the suspect hits the deputy with a pipe from behind. The deputy keeps a clear head after shooting the driver, commands the second suspect to drop the weapon as the K9 is punishing the second suspect. The Deputy returns to the incapacitated driver and removes the gun from his hand and tosses it away from the driver before going back and securing the second suspect. Deputy and K9 excellent work. The K9 is an IrondogK9 trained Malinois named Blu with 4 Titanium canines.

If the Zionists and the Crusaders had never invaded and colonized the Islamic lands after WW1, then there would be no need for Jihad! Which is better, to sit around and do nothing, or to Jihad fisabeelallah!” Thompson’s comment was on a video explaining the idea of creating an Islamic caliphate, or borderless kingdom, which is ISIS’s ultimate aim. (CNN) A man charged at four New York police officers Thursday afternoon, metal hatchet in hand, hitting one officer in the right arm and another in the head, the city’s police commissioner said. The two officers who weren’t struck shot and killed the suspect, according to police Commissioner Bill Bratton. The suspect was identified as Zale H. Thompson, a law enforcement official said. Thompson had a criminal record in California and had been discharged from the Navy for misconduct, according to the source. The police officer who was struck in the head remains in critical but stable condition. Authorities are looking to see if the unprovoked attack, in the New York borough of Queens, is tied to recent calls by radicals to attack military and police officers, law enforcement officials say. Asked about a possible connection to terrorism, Bratton said, “There is nothing we know as of this time that would indicate that were the case. I think certainly the heightened concern is relative to that type of assault based on what just happened in Canada.” On Wednesday, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was shot and killed as he stood guard at Canada’s National War Memorial before shots erupted in the halls of the country’s Parliament minutes later. The Ottawa gunman had “connections” to jihadists in Canada who shared a radical Islamist ideology, including at least one who went overseas to fight in Syria, multiple U.S. sources told CNN on Thursday. In the New York attack, the officers were posing for a photo when the man carrying a 18.5-inch-long hatchet charged them, Bratton said. The 25-year-old officer who was struck in head was in critical but stable condition at New York hospital. The other officer, who is 24, was struck in the arm and was expected to be released soon. A 29-year-old bystander who was struck by a bullet in the lower back was also taken to a hospital. Her condition was not known. Meet other POC candidates and view the facilities that will be available during your training. Gym tests (remember to bring and wear non-slip trainers) Progressive shuttle run (the ‘bleep test’): run between two lines, 20 metres apart, at a pace dictated by bleeps, beginning at level 1. Each level has several shuttles at the same pace and the pace gets quicker at the start of each new level. Your target is to reach level 13. Press ups: complete as many full press ups as possible in two minutes. 60 press ups will get you a maximum points. Sit ups: complete as many full sit ups as you can in two minutes. 85 sit ups will get you maximum points. Overhand grasp pull ups: carried out on a wooden beam, your target should be eight quality pull ups. 16 pull ups will get you maximum points. You will need to do the pull ups to bleeps for both the upward and downward movements to make sure you are moving correctly and not using momentum to help you. Essay: you will write a short essay in one hour on a current affairs topic that we will provide. We are looking for your knowledge of defence-related issues, your ability to reason, justify your arguments and communicate them clearly in writing. Finally, you will have an interview with your course corporal or course officer. This interview is for you to show you are serious about a career in the Royal Marines and that you have a broad understanding of the Corps. To do well in this, study the literature given to you by your Careers Adviser. DAY 2 The second day is quite gruelling and starts off with the confidence test and assault course. This is carried out in all weather conditions and you will be outside and active for over two hours. It's your opportunity to show your determination and stamina. You will then go on to do: A high obstacle course (or an element of the Tarzan Assault course if on the POC) involves climbing ladders, moving across ropes and negotiating obstacles up to 30 feet off the ground. There is also a timed run around the obstacle course. Listen and watch your demonstrations carefully as this will save you time and reduce your chance of injury. Presentation: you will deliver a three minute presentation on a topic of your own choice to your course members without using any visual aids. This allows us to assess how confidently you can give your views to a small audience. Remember to plan your presentation, as three minutes is a short time to clearly explain a subject. Endurance course: this is the last physical test. It lasts about 3 hours and covers over 2.5 miles of cross-country ground in Woodbury Common (four miles from CTCRM). You will tackle tunnels and water obstacles – which includes the ‘sheep dip’ (submerged tunnel) before going on a run through country lanes. The endurance course will test your dedication. We will expect you to keep going while staying positive, despite being wet, cold and tired. Discussion exercise: you will take part in a group debate on a few controversial and topical issues, which will let us see how well you can formulate ideas and put your point of view across when you are tired. We will see how well you listen to others and how you react to them, particularly when they disagree with you.

Wild Police Chase Ends in Crash,Two NYPD Officers Hurt And 2 Children

A wild police chase that started on Synder Ave and Nostrand Ave and went through many Brooklyn streets ended when a runaway van crashed into a car being driven by an off-duty police sergeant with her two children in the car. NYPD officers first pulled over a van suspected in a robbery, and as the officers approached the van, the vehicle took off, running over an officer's foot, police said. The van driver nearly hit pedestrians and hit many cars along the get away path. Police pursued the van through three precincts, 70,63,61 pct before ending at Stuart Street and Avenue U in Marine Park, when the van crashed T-boned a car driven by an off-duty sergeant, according to police. Witness Jack Vanasco said, "I heard all the sirens, I said what the heck's going? It's like a movie." "It was a pretty loud crash," he said. "The cops came and they surrounded the van." The sergeant and her two children, who had to be extricated from the car, were injured but it's not clear how seriously. Police arrested the suspect at the scene after a brief foot pursuit.
