Plot
Koh and Hua, 2 old school radio deejays, learn that their tiny radio station has been bought over by a mainland Chinese multimedia MNC. They are assigned to produce a radio drama as part of a trans-media project about the Chinese diaspora. Koh and Hua feel daunted by new technologies, so they perform all their sound effects live, just like in the good old days of radio. This lends the radio drama a lot of charm. As the drama unfolds, we realise that its fictional story of migrating pandas mirror the lives of Koh and Hua, who came to Singapore with only the clothes on them to eke out a new life. The men had fun working on the project, but the Hong Kong executive isn't impressed. So they are made to write the theme song instead.
