Omri (Hebrew: עמרי, Modern Omri Tiberian ʻOmrî; short for Hebrew: עָמְרִיָּה, Modern Omriyya Tiberian ʻOmriyyā ; "The Lord is my life") was a king of Israel, successful military campaigner and first in the line of Omride kings that included Ahab, Ahaziah and Joram.
Omri was "commander of the army" of king Elah when Zimri murdered Elah and made himself king. Instead, the troops at Gibbethon chose Omri as king, and he led them to Tirzah where they trapped Zimri in the royal palace. Zimri set fire to the palace and died after a reign of only seven days. (1 Kings 16:15-18) Although Zimri was eliminated, "half of the people" supported Tibni in opposition to Omri. (1 Kings 16:21-22) It took Omri four years to subdue Tibni and at last proclaim himself undisputed king of Israel. (1 Kings 16:15 and 16:23)
Omri became king of Israel in the 31st year of Asa, king of Judah and reigned for 12 years, 6 years of which were in Tirzah. (1 Kings 16:23) The biblical reference to the period of rivalry with Tibni is from the 27th year of Asa (1 Kings 16:15) to the 31st year. (16:23) William F. Albright has dated his reign to 876 – 869 BC, while E. R. Thiele offers the dates of 888 BC to 880 BC for his rivalry with Tibni and 880 – 874 BC for his sole reign.
Plot
A Production Designer (Smith) and his Assistant (Grazi) journey through the world of low budget film production. These two raconteurs imaginatively entertain themselves while attempting to survive the perils of working on a 24 hour viral video contest that features a party girl pop star as the lead actress.
Plot
The story is minimal; love lost, love regained, love destroyed. Our characters are Caleb and Rin. Caleb lives comfortably in his upper/middle class lifestyle as a columnist and blogger. Rin is a prominent student filmmaker in the gay community at his college. Their lives intertwine when Caleb's wife is killed in an accidental hit and run, and Caleb's only memory of the accident is a bumper sticker of a one legged bird. The two develop a relationship that opens up Caleb's world to a new meaning of love, but transcends into dangerous and destructive when he begins to suspect Rin had something to do with his accident. The film is told in four intertwining storylines, shot in four different film styles respectively; Melodrama, French New Wave, Mumblecore (or 'Indie'), and Documentary which will actually feature real interviews from notable members of Minnesota's GLBT community. FAUX takes place during America's current perceptions of sexuality; specifically, the gay rights movement. It will center on Minneapolis's own GLBT community, and shall offer insight as well as provoke thought. But as this is the focal point, it will also embody a broader philosophy, disseminating ideologies of narrative time and history, as well as cultural concepts of sexuality and 'humanism' in the modern American capital. The film aims to approach sexuality in cinema from a typically untouched agenda. This isn't a movie about gays, straights, blacks, whites, bad guys or good guys; this is a movie about people; this is a movie about human beings.
The economy of cinema. The economy of sexuality. The economy of life.

Two religions. One land. Two brothers. One destiny. One book.
