The devs released an update as per usual on Thursday, but their main focus of their update video was to inform us that they would like us, the community, to submit more ships, and stations, for the upcoming Exploration game mode. As such, I have outlined some of the basic requirements that you will have to follow if you wish to submit a ship, or station for this second round of creations. They don't just want interesting ships this time, they need ones that serve a purpose, and that conform to the following rules. -----------------------------------Ship Rules------------------------------ Copied from u/Captain_Alaska's Transcript on Reddit. Round #2 of user exploration (faction) ships requirements: - Unified Visual Style (Both paintjob and design) - Purpose of design (Ships must be useful in some way; i.e. Fighter, Miner) - Small Ships: Less than 80,000 Triangles (Ship Menu/ Info Tab) - Large Ships: Less than 350,000 Triangles - Large Ship Stations: Less Than 500,000 Triangles - Conveyor systems must be connected - Must have necessary items; I.e: Uranium in reactor, ammunition in guns.
