Mangalore i/ˈmæŋɡəlɔr/ (also called Kuḍla in Tulu, Maṅgaḷūru in Kannada, Koḍiyāl in Konkani, or Maikāla in Beary bashe) is the chief port city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located about 350 kilometres (220 mi) west of the state capital, Bangalore. Mangalore lies between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghat mountain ranges, and is the administrative headquarters of the Dakshina Kannada (formerly South Canara) district in south western Karnataka.
Mangalore derives its name from the local Hindu Goddess Mangaladevi. It developed as a port on the Arabian Sea—remaining, to this day, a major port of India. Lying on the backwaters of the Netravati and Gurupura rivers, Mangalore is often used as a staging point for sea traffic along the Malabar Coast. The city has a tropical climate and lies in the path of the Arabian Sea branch of the South-West monsoons. Mangalore's port handles 75 per cent of India's coffee exports and the bulk of the nation's cashew exports.
Mangalore was ruled by several major powers, including the Kadambas, Vijayanagar dynasty, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas, Hoysalas, and the Portuguese. The city was a source of contention between the British and the Mysore rulers, Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. Eventually annexed by the British in 1799, Mangalore remained part of the Madras Presidency until India's independence in 1947. The city was unified with the state of Mysore (now called Karnataka) in 1956.
Oh it hurts so much
Life is like a boat I see
The water rolls
The water strolls
All around me
Bury me bury me bury me deep
At the bottom of the sea
Probably probably
I will fall asleep
Oh it hurts so much
Love is like a boat I see
I tried so hard
To get in
To get out
Without getting wet feet
Bury me bury me bury me deep
At the bottom of the sea
Probably probably
I will fall asleep
Bury me bury me bury me deep
At the bottom of the sea
Probably probably
I will fall asleep
Bury me bury me bury me deep
At the bottom of the sea
Probably probably
I will fall asleep
Bury me bury me bury me deep
At the bottom of the sea
Probably probably
These are the paths you want to set feet upon
These are my lakes and rivers shimmering in the sun
This is the soil you may lay hand on
Travel my landscapes
Wander on
This is the straight line
Where your sun can set
In the arms of mine
This is a world beyond words
This is a place nameless
Leave it at that
Leave it at that
Leave it at that
The word is not in
If you must know
Just keep breathing
The word is not in
Just let go
Please stop seeking
Leave it at that
Leave it at that
Leave it at that
The word is not in
If you must know
Just keep breathing
The word is not in
Just let go
Just stop seeking
Leave it at that
Leave it at that
I think I don´t fit in here
It seems to be all too queer
They call me weird and weird I am
I start to end where I began
This life second hand
Gimme something I can cling to
Something I understand
Something beautiful
I don´t like to minimize
This room can´t hold my size
I kept running and running
But this will be my second coming
Gimme something I can cling to
Something I understand
Something beautiful
Gimme something I can trust in
Gimme something that makes sense
Something beautiful
They don´t know my name
But I know who I am
The world is big
But I´ll be bigger then
Gimme something I can cling to
Something I understand
Something beautiful
Gimme something I can trust in
Gimme something that makes sense
Oh Forget what u have learned ...in a life time
Have a look and see that all is new ... inside ...outside
Form lost shape and shape lacks outline..
Never mind
Entering the Neverland
With no one walking at
Your hand
Always never
Understand that
Nothing never ever ends
You slipped your mind yourself
Like everything else lost shape
You return to the great forgetting
To a vague setting ...
Entering the Neverland
With no one walking at
Your hand
Always never
understand that
Time walks hand in hand
With everything alive
The end walks hand in hand
With mine
Streets covered with blossom
The blue sky shines above
As if enjoying the forgotten blessing
Of the moment
All too much
I can see it...I can see it all
It's too much ...too much to hold
How to keep all the beauty
All the ugliness inside
When life is but a journey
On a rushing ride
Streets covered with blossom
The sky hides above
As if denying the cruelty
Of being alive
Too much
I can see it...I can see it all
It's too much ...too much to hold
I can see it...I can see it all
It's too much ...too much to hold
I can see it...I can see it all
