The Windows API, informally WinAPI, is Microsoft's core set of application programming interfaces (APIs) available in the Microsoft Windows operating systems. It was formerly called the Win32 API; however, the name "Windows API" more accurately reflects its roots in 16-bit Windows and its support on 64-bit Windows. Almost all Windows programs interact with the Windows API; on the Windows NT line of operating systems, a small number (such as programs started early in the Windows startup process) use the Native API.
Developer support is available in the form of the Microsoft Windows SDK, providing documentation and tools necessary to build software based upon the Windows API and associated Windows interfaces.
The functionality provided by the Windows API can be grouped into eight categories:
The Internet Explorer web browser also exposes many APIs that are often used by applications, and as such could be considered a part of the Windows API. Internet Explorer has been included with the operating system since Windows 95 OSR2, and has provided web related services to applications since Windows 98. Specifically, it is used to provide:
In the morning I open my eyes
I'm lost in love and I wonder why
Will I ever happen to see you again
Will you ever come back to me in the end.
It's the morning of loneliness
It's the morning of emptiness
But I'm reaching up for the lie of pain
Reaching up, I'm running away!
I am ready to fly
I feel so high
I am ready to go
I lost control
I am ready to fly
I touch the sky
I am ready to fly... (2x)
Everytime when it seems like the end
then I think of you and I'm happy again
Yes, and everywhere I lay in my head
I will dream of you and I'm no longer sad.
It's the morning of loneliness
It's the morning of emptiness
But I'm reaching up for the lie of pain
Reaching up, I'm running away!
I am ready to fly
I feel so high
I am ready to go
I lost control
I am ready to fly
I touch the sky
I am ready to fly... (2x)
In the morning I open my eyes
I'm lost in love and I wonder why
Will I ever happen to see you again
"America, America, God shed his grace on thee..."
You ask me Why I Lover Her? Well, give me time and I'll
explain.
Have you see a Kansas sunset or an Arizona rain?
Have you drifted on a bayou down Louisiana way?
Have you watched a cold fog drifting over San Francisco
Bay?
Have you heard a bobwhite calling in the Carolina
pines,
Or heard the bellow of a diesel at the Appalachia
mines?
Does the call of Niagara thrill you when you hear her
waters roar?
Do you look with awe and wonder at her Massachusetts
shore,
Where men who braved a hard new world first stepped on
Plymounth's rock?
And do you think of them when you stroll along a new
York City dock?
Have you seen a snowflake drifting in the Rockies, way
up high?
Have you seen the sun come blazing down from a bright
Nevada sky?
Do you hail to the Columbia as she rushes to the sea,
Or bow your head at Gettysburg at our struggle to be
free?
Have you seen the mighty Tetons? Have you watched an
eagle soar?
Have you see the Mississippi roll along Missouri's
shore?
Have you felt a chill at Michigan when on a winter's
Her waters rage along the shore in thunderous display?
Does the word "Aloha" make you warm? Do you stare in
disbelief
When you see the surf come roaring in at Waimea Reef?
From Alaska's cold to the Everglades, from the Rio
Grande to Maine,
My heart cries out, my pulse runs fast at the might of
her domain.
You ask me Why I Love Her? I've a million reasons why:
My Beautiful America, beneath God's wide, wide sky.
"And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to
In your mind
You build pyramids round yourself
And into time, you'll wonder what you have left
No one can see the design of your mind
Tell you can leave constructor
Chorus:
Laugh out laugh, but don't laugh alone
Stand up proud, your feelings are fun
Close one height to see what you've done
I won't cry as you're breaking this song
When you talk it's the opposite of yourself
Take it aim, with arms that will make to fail
The covers of... too far the...
No one can read it's been thin from the start
2 x Chorus:
Laugh out laugh, but don't laugh alone
Stand up proud, your feelings are fun
Close one height to see what you've done
