Most people fly long distance, f.e. from Bangkok to Europe in a modern Boeing or Airbus jet, preferably in Business or First Class sipping their champagne while watching a movie. First Class FOR ME, is sampling life onboard a Tupolev 154 making a few stops enroute and being rewarded with this magnificant and unique engine sound. This documentary features a night flight onboard Balkan Bulgarian Airlines Tupolev 154M in September 1999 all the way from Bangkok to Sofia. The third and final leg takes us from Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates to Sofia. Upon approach to runway 27, we encounter thick fog at Sofia Airport and are rewarded with a go around and landing over the city on runway 09.
