A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of still or moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. The process of filmmaking has developed into an art form and industry.
Films are cultural artifacts created by specific cultures, which reflect those cultures, and, in turn, affect them. Film is considered to be an important art form, a source of popular entertainment and a powerful method for educating – or indoctrinating – citizens. The visual elements of cinema give motion pictures a universal power of communication. Some films have become popular worldwide attractions by using dubbing or subtitles that translate the dialogue into the language of the viewer.
Films are made up of a series of individual images called frames. When these images are shown rapidly in succession, a viewer has the illusion that motion is occurring. The viewer cannot see the flickering between frames due to an effect known as persistence of vision, whereby the eye retains a visual image for a fraction of a second after the source has been removed. Viewers perceive motion due to a psychological effect called beta movement.

Jason Statham ( /ˈsteɪθəm/; born 12 September 1967) is an English actor and former diver, known for his roles in the Guy Ritchie crime films Revolver, Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Statham appeared in supporting roles in several American films, such as The Italian Job, as well as playing the lead role in The Transporter, Death Race, Crank, The Bank Job and War (opposite martial arts star Jet Li). Jones introduced him to football, and Statham went on to play for the local grammar school (1978–83), which he had attended since the age of eleven, but his real passion was diving.[citation needed] He practised daily in perfecting his diving techniques – in particular, he finished 12th in the World Championships in 1992. He was also a member of Britain's National Diving Squad for twelve years.

You the star, you the star, yeah
(You the star of the show)
And I'll be the director and the actor
And I'll join in, if I have to
Let's make a movie movie movie
Face them, the time will erase them
Stop trying to chase them
I've taken my place and it's not worth the tears
I waited so long for this love
As another was slipping away
I waited so long for this moment
As the others were wasted
Cast a shade to save your eyes
Take this time to turn and say goodbye
Frozen, the words go unspoken
New victims are chosen
My heart will be broken but so will my fear
I waited so long for this love
As another was slipping away
I waited so long for this moment
As the others were wasted
Cast a shade to save your eyes
seconds turn to hours
listen with your song
maybe it would be easy
maybe it would be easy
you turn my seasons cold
your skies turn
you turn my seasons cold
you shine the shadows
maybe the space only grows
space that lacks the light of the world
take back the thoughts that you left me
maybe the space only grows
you shine the shadows
nothing fits the way you live
you shine the shadows
nothing fits the way you live
never look at you
listen with your song
life's a bad movie i see it all coming
can't draw me in out of my disbelief
the purest emotion's just cheap imitation
can't get involved, get a moment's relief
life's a bad movie but i'm way past caring
so i'll sit and watch with a beer and some friends
together we'll laugh at the plot and the people
(McKinley)
Maybe you should drive up here and get me,
though I'm not sure I'll make much sense.
Everything I've built is leaning
and they just raised the rent.
We could drive out to the desert.
You always make me feel like we're on film.
Sometimes my head just turns on me,
and you know that's a movie we were already in.
You know that's a movie we were already in.
Come on, drive up here and get me.
Let's go visiting our dead.
They're under the sand singing, and
we're not bigger than them yet.
Tonight the dead are so dramatic,
they still want to be our friends.
I need you to feed me my lines again.
You know it's a movie we were already in.
The movie is done once more
The mood sets in with lights
Let's wait for them to leave
I was never one for crowds
I look down on the floor
Everything's undone
Yet we've been so much more
Than a full-length feature
REFRAIN 1
We long for escape
Let this mem'ry take shape
For the heroes we often see
I don't know if it's me
Or the movies we've seen
I don't remember
As well as I should
CHORUS
I stay so silent with your arms adjacent
And credits may soon roll away
Wooh
You have my jacket on
Comfort in my warmth
I'm used to the cold
I'm used to the cold
REFRAIN 2
And I hope you'd agree
How this story should be
How I wish I could change the scenes
I'd write on the next page
An early coming of age
For me to tell you
As well as I could
CHORUS
I stay so silent with your arms adjacent
And credits may soon roll away
Could I stay so silent with your arms adjacent
The vagueness may soon come to light
Should I say so silent with your arms adjacent
As I play my part in my show
Forever shall I be the ill-fated type
Forever must I be the one you confide to
Forever must I be the pages you need
For you to write all your secrets that you hope I would keep
Forever must I drive you home late at night
After watching these films that seem to imitate life
Forever must I be the opinion you seek and
Forever will I be the friend that you would keep
