Today I will finally begin the Starmade Ringworld Project, but I'm not alone. MysticalMoonMan and me, we are the Lords of the Ringworld and we will build a giant, 1,2 km diameter, ring in Starmade, inspired by Halo and the Novel by Larry Niven. So please check out the Channel of http://www.youtube.com/user/MysticalMoonMan as well, to see his perspective. We will build this Ring around a artificial sun, a second Ring between them will cause a day and night cycle on the surface. Later we are going to add details, buildings and docks to this whole construction. Hopefully the server can handle this thing ;) Follow me on twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/aurigacity Follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/aurigacity Follow me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/aurigacityfanpage My page: http://www.aurigacity.com Official Starmade homepage: http://www.starmade.org

It contains some great interviews with the creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Also, interviews with Superman actors Kirk Alyn and Christopher Reeve. It also features comic book people such as Will Eisner (creator of the Spirit) and Trina Robbins; it has the science fiction writer Larry Niven talking about the science of Superman and also has Margot Kidder and David Prowse.

The Guardian 2014-09-11Laurence van Cott Niven ( /ˈnɪvən/; born April 30, 1938) is an American science fiction author. His best-known work is Ringworld (1970), which received Hugo, Locus, Ditmar, and Nebula awards. His work is primarily hard science fiction, using big science concepts and theoretical physics. It also often includes elements of detective fiction and adventure stories. His fantasy includes the series The Magic Goes Away, rational fantasy dealing with magic as a non-renewable resource. Niven also writes humorous stories; one series is collected in The Flight of the Horse.
Niven is a great-grandson of oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny, an important figure in the Teapot Dome scandal of the 1920s. He briefly attended the California Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics (with a minor in psychology) from Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas, in 1962. He did a year of graduate work in mathematics at the University of California at Los Angeles. He has since lived in Los Angeles suburbs, including Chatsworth and Tarzana, as a full-time writer. He married Marilyn Joyce "Fuzzy Pink" Wisowaty, herself a well-known science fiction and Regency literature fan, on September 6, 1969. He is an agnostic.
