Trinidad (Spanish: "Trinity") is the largest and more populous of the two major islands and numerous landforms which make up the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. It is the southernmost island in the Caribbean and lies just 11 km (6.8 mi) off the northeastern coast of Venezuela. With an area of 4,768 km2 (1,841 sq mi) it is also the fifth largest in the West Indies. Time zone: GMT −4 (Trinidad does not observe DST).
Many believe[who?] the original name for the island in the Arawaks' language was "Iëre" which meant "Land of the Humming Bird". Christopher Columbus renamed it "La Isla de la Trinidad" ("The Island of the Trinity"), fulfilling a vow he had made before setting out on his third voyage of exploration.
Caribs and Arawaks lived in Trinidad long before Christopher Columbus encountered the islands on his third voyage in 1498. Tobago changed hands between the British, French, Dutch and Courlanders, but eventually ended up in British hands. Trinidad remained Spanish until 1797, but it was largely settled by French colonists. In 1889 the two islands became a single crown colony. Trinidad and Tobago obtained self-governance in 1958 and independence from the British Empire in 1962.
"The Man" is a slang phrase that may refer to the government or to some other authority in a position of power. In addition to this derogatory connotation, it may also serve as a term of respect and praise.
The phrase "the Man is keeping me down" is commonly used to describe oppression. The phrase "stick it to the Man" encourages resistance to authority, and essentially means "fight back" or "resist", either openly or via sabotage.
The earliest recorded use[citation needed] of the term "the Man" in the American sense dates back to a letter written by a young Alexander Hamilton in September 1772, when he was 15. In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." [dubious – discuss] In the Southern U.S. states, the phrase came to be applied to any man or any group in a position of authority, or to authority in the abstract. From about the 1950s the phrase was also an underworld code word for police, the warden of a prison or other law enforcement or penal authorities.
Abu Bakr (Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafa) (Arabic: عبد الله بن أبي قحافة, Transliteration: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Quḥāfah, c. 573 CE - 634 CE) also known as Abū Bakr as-Șiddīq (Arabic: أبو بكر الصديق) was a senior companion (Sahabi) and the father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He ruled over the Rashidun Caliphate from 632–634 CE when he became the first Muslim Caliph following Muhammad's death. As Caliph, Abu Bakr succeeded to the political and administrative functions previously exercised by Muhammad, since the religious function and authority of prophethood ended with Muhammad's death according to Islam. He was called Al-Siddiq (The Truthful) and was known by that title among later generations of Muslims.
As a young man, Abu Bakr became a cloth merchant and he traveled extensively in Arabia and neighboring lands in the Middle East, through which he gained both wealth and experience. He eventually came to be recognized as the chief of his clan. On his return from a business trip to Yemen, he was informed that in his absence Muhammad had openly declared his prophethood. Not long after, Abu Bakr accepted Islam and was the first person outside the family of Muhammad to openly become a Muslim. He was instrumental in the conversion of many people to the Islamic faith and early in 623, Abu Bakr's daughter Aisha was married to Muhammad, strengthening the ties between the two men.
Terence Hill (born Mario Girotti; 29 March 1939) is an Italian actor. He is best known for starring in multiple action and western films (so-called spaghetti westerns) together with his longtime film partner Bud Spencer.
Hill was born in Venice, Italy. His mother was German, his father an Italian chemist. As a child, he lived in the small town of Lommatzsch, Germany from 1943 to 1945 during World War II, surviving the Dresden Bombing. After being discovered by Italian filmmaker Dino Risi for Vacanze col Gangster (Holiday with the Gangster, 1951) at an early age of 12, he had, after 27 movies in Italy (including Gli sbandati), a major film role in Luchino Visconti's The Leopard (Il Gattopardo, 1963). In 1964, he returned to Germany and there, appeared in a series of Heimatfilmen, adventure and western films, made after novels by German author Karl May. In 1967, he returned to Italy to act in God Forgives... I Don't! (Dio perdona... Io no!, 1968). He changed his name to Terence Hill in the same year. The name was made up, as a publicity stunt, by the film producers; he had to choose from a list of twenty names and picked the one with his mother's initials. In a Q&A, he dismissed as a journalist's invention the rumour that it might have been taken from the Roman playwright Terence and his wife's surname (his wife was Lori Zwicklbauer; she later took her husband's surname).

Let me tell you a story about an ugly woman I know...
"Hello girls!"
"Hello Tobi you hot little machine!"
I'm a sight for sore eyes
Oh, if your eyes would only see
I've been born on tiptoe
Still you looked like a lighthouse next to me
You pet-named me Napoleon
I was proud 'til I got the reason why, why...
Never aimed for confrontation
You've been sleeping when I kissed your ass goodbye
Oh, while you read this letter
I'd just gone to eat out
By the way
My what a sunshine in Trinidad
Hope you're okay lightyears away
My what A heat wave in Trinidad
Hope you don't mind if I stay
Pitcher goes too often to the well
And now the pitcher's gone insane
Gotta run away, boiling over, getting hell
And found the answer on a plane
Oh, I've been pissing off
Before you might could have pissed me off.
I hope you're fine, yeah
My what a sunshine in Trinidad
Mind if you stay, I do okay
My what A heatwave in Trinidad
Sunburnt a night flight away
"Honey you're looking good so far away from me
The weather is great, the beach is great, the food is great
Everything is great and you're so far away, I love you honey
Greetings from Trinidad, hey!
My what a sunshine in Trinidad
Mind if you stay, I do okay
My what a heatwave in Trinidad
Sunburnt a night flight away
There once was a story
From a thousand yesterdays
I read it in this ancient book
When the old man passed away
I drifted through the pages
And it's magic filled my eyes
I dreamed she once loved me
In the land called Trinidad
By the wind
Sailed the water
She calls my name
To come on back to hold me
Trinidad
Trinidad
The silence on the ocean
Stopped the silence in my heart
She still sings to me softly
Through the night
And in the dark
By the wind
Sailed the water
She calls my name
To come on back to hold me
Trinidad
Take me back (3X)
Trinidad
She waits by her window
And she shines a light for me
To help me through the harbor
In the land called Trinidad
By the wind
Sailed the water
She calls my name
To come on back to hold me
Trinidad
Trinidad (Trinidad)
Take me back (3X)
(Take me back)
Trinidad (Trinidad)
Come on home to hold me
(Come on home)
Trinidad
Hey hey hey
(Trinidad, Take me back)
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)
(Trinidad, Take me back)
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)
