"Rebel Heart" is a song by the Irish folk/pop/rock group The Corrs, taken from their third album In Blue. It is an instrumental with Celtic influences, featuring the violin, bodhran, and tin whistle.
It was composed especially by fiddler Sharon Corr and was actually a separate commission for the BBC Ireland four part series, Rebel Heart which the Corrs subsequently decided to place in the album. It was nominated in January 2001 for a "Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance". According to the Corrs official website, Sharon is quoted as saying:
"I wrote it in Malibu on piano when we were recording Talk on Corners. It sat around for a long time and then the BBC were looking for some music for their big Autumn drama about the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland. It has a very Irish melody and we added the tin whistle and so on and it fitted the bill."
Stasys Povilaitis (born 1947) is a Lithuanian singer.

Kane Roberts, born Robert William Athas is a heavy metal guitarist best known for his tenure in Alice Cooper's band during the late 1980s. He has performed as a solo act.
Roberts is notable for his Rambo-like physique and his usage of an electric guitar shaped like a machine gun.
Roberts was the guitarist who played on Alice Cooper's Constrictor and Raise Your Fist and Yell and their respective tours. He is the man responsible for Alice's metal years in the late '80s as he co-wrote nearly every track from those albums. Just by being on stage, he was a part of the show with his huge physique and rocket shooting guitars.
After "Raise Your Fist", Kane released his first solo album, Kane Roberts, which featured Alice lyrics on 'Full Pull'. He then guested on Trash, playing guitar on "Bed Of Nails". He then released a second solo album Saints and Sinners.
While he is primarily a guitar player, Roberts is also a skilled vocalist, capable of extreme high range, as is evident on his solo projects. Saints and Sinners contained the Bon Jovi-penned "Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore?", previously recorded by Cher as well.

I picked her up about a quarter to nine
My brother told me I was wasting my time
A woman like that'll only cause you confusion
but go ahead you may find it amusing
She came to the door wearing a suit and tie
her hair cropped short I couldn't figure out why
Rebel heart don't be a loner
Rebel heart I'm your lover
Rebel heart I wanna discover
where you from and where you belong
and everything that turns you on
I wanted to dance but she flatly refused
I told her jokes but she was not amused
Tried to kiss her but she wouldn't stand still
Started thinking this was overkill
Next thing I know I was flyin' for cover
it was her steady girlfriend and a live-in lover
Rebel heart why don't you try it
Rebel heart you can't deny it
Rebel heart you may like it
I'll change your mind if you'll give me time
about everything that's on your mind
I stayed awake all last night fantasizing about you baby
You know I'd walk a million miles across broken glass
or a red hot Arabian desert
if I could just have one night in your long brass bed
Evening wound up on a very sad note
I drove her home and then she went for my throat
She said, it's fairly obvious I ain't attracted to you
You bore me to tears honest you do
And by the way I can't stand your British
I said, don't start something, honey, you know you can't finish
Rebel heart I won't forget ya
Rebel heart I'm glad I met ya
Rebel heart give me an answer
where you're from and where you belong
and everything that turns you on
You came, you saw, you conquered me
When you did that to me I knew that it had to be
I'd lift you up with my own arms honey
I can't get enough
I'd walk down Fifth Avenue entirely naked
I promise I won't drink, swear, womanize
I'd go to church every Sunday
for just one night with you
Rebel heart I'm your lover
Rebel heart I wanna discover
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Rebel heart I won't forget ya
Rebel heart I'm glad I met ya
Rebel heart give me an answer
Oh yeah oh yeah
Rebel heart I won't forget ya
Rebel heart give me an answer
Oh yeah oh yeah
(instrumental)
I saw you, and right then and there I knew
I didn't have a prayer
You made the move like a thief in the night, so smooth
You had the time just right
Oh, I fell fast and hard
Once you make your mind up
You really go for the heart
I couldn't help but love you, babe
You take the feeling all the way
That's the way you are
Do you want somebody?
You really go for the heart
You really go for the heart
Burnin' eyes, so tenderly hypnotized
When you look at me, hold me close
Now I'm a part of you, heaven knows
That your aim was true
'Cause I fell fast and hard
Once you make your mind up
You really go for the heart
I couldn't help but love you, babe
You take the feeling all the way
That's the way you are
Do you want somebody?
You really go for the heart
You really go for the heart
I couldn't help but love you, babe
You take the feeling all the way
That's the way you are
Do you want somebody?
You really go for the heart
I couldn't help but love you, babe
You take the feeling all the way
That's the way you are
Do you want somebody?
You really go for the heart
I couldn't help but love you, babe
You take the feeling all the way
That's the way you are
Do you want somebody?
Tonight I'm leavin' on the midnight train.
To stay would be to leave a lie.
I'm stingin' from the fire of your farewell kiss.
Disappointment in your eyes.
I left you in the rain.
So I wouldn't see you cry.
I can't escape the pain.
When it's you that I want,
But I can't tie my love down inside.
I got a rebel heart.
I gotta run and it's tearing me apart.
I got a rebel heart.
And as long as it's beating,
It's always breaking.
Tomorrow I'll be far away from here.
Not far enough to ease the pain.
Will you leave a light on in the night for me.
Will I jump this midnight train?
I'm standing in the rain.
So no one can see me cry.
My tears are shed in vain.
Cuz nothing can change
The will of this cold wind inside.
I got a rebel heart.
I gotta run and it's tearing me apart.
I got a rebel heart.
And as long as it's beating,
It's always breaking.
I left you in the rain.
So I wouldn't' see you cry.
I can't escape the pain.
When it's you that I want.
But I can't tie my love down inside.
I got a rebel heart.
I gotta run and it's tearing me apart.
I got a rebel heart.
And as long as it's beating.
It's always breaking.
I got a rebel heart.
I gotta run and it's tearing me apart.
I got a rebel heart.
I got a rebel heart.
I got a rebel heart.
Oh, Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
Oh, Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
You've started back doin'
The things you used to do
As I was motivatin' over the hill
I saw Maybelline in a Coupe de Ville
Cadillac rollin' on an open road
But nothin' outrun my V8 Ford
Cadillac doin' about ninety-five
Bumper to bumper rollin' side to side
Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
Oh, Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
You've started back doin'
The things you used to do
Well,
The Cadillac moved to ahead of the Ford
A Ford got hot and wouldn't do no more
It just that time, it started to rain
I tooted my horn for the passin' lane
The rain water poured up
Under my motor hood
I knew that were doin' my motor good
Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
Oh, Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
You've started back doin'
The things you used to do
Motor cooled down, the heat went down
That's when I heard that highway sound
Cadillac seemin' like a ton of lead
A hundred and ten a half a mile ahead
Cadillac lookin' like it's sittin' still
I caught Maybelline at the top of the hill
Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
Oh, Maybelline
Why can't you be true?
You've started back doin'
The things you used to do
