A photographer (from Greek φωτός (photos), meaning "light", and γράφω (graphos), meaning "written") is a person who takes photographs. A professional photographer uses photography to earn money; amateur photographers take photographs for pleasure and to record an event, emotion, place, or person.

A professional photographer may be an employee, for example of a newspaper, or may contract to cover a particular event such as a wedding or graduation, or to illustrate an advertisement. Others, including paparazzi and fine art photographers, are freelancers, first making a picture and then offering it for sale or display. Some workers, such as policemen, estate agents, journalists and scientists, make photographs as part of other work. Photographers who produce moving rather than still pictures are often called cinematographers, videographers or camera operators, depending on the commercial context.

Photographers are also categorized based on the subjects they photograph. Some photographers explore subjects typical of paintings such as landscape, still life, and portraiture. Other photographers specialize in subjects unique to photography, including street photography, documentary photography, fashion photography, wedding photography, war photography, photojournalism, and commercial photography.

Dash Berlin (born 8 November 1979) is a Dutch progressive-trance project created in 2007 in The Hague by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. The front man of the group is the DJ Jeffrey Sutorius a.k.a Dash Berlin . Kalberg and Molijn have been contributing to the international dance scene for over ten years, with award-winning and platinum-selling hits for dance acts such as Alice Deejay, Vengaboys, Candee Jay, Pronti & Kalmani and Solid Sessions . They also have been working together with DJ Sander Kleinenberg on classic tracks like “This Is Miami” and “The Fruit” and remixes for major artists such as Justin Timberlake ('Rock Your Body' Remix winning the award for 'Best Remix' at the Dance Star USA Awards), Janet Jackson, BT, Usher, N.E.R.D., Lenny Kravitz, Junkie XL, Röyksopp, Mylo, and Annie Lennox .

Dash Berlin was formed when Jeffrey Sutorius (born in November 1979 in The Hague, The Netherlands) and his close friends, Kalberg and Molijn teamed up in 2006. . Jeffrey Sutorius was a fan of electronic music from his high school days and in his late teens worked in a record store and became a collector of vinyl trance music. Inspired by pioneering figures such as Sven Vath, Oliver Lieb and Sander Kleinenberg, Sutorius began mixing and producing his own music. He started performing in the Dutch underground music scene in early '95 and teamed up with fellow producers and close friends Kalberg and Molijn to form Dash Berlin in 2006 .

Roxanne Emery (born 4 October 1984, in Southampton, England) is a London based singer-songwriter.

Roxanne was born in Southampton, England. She attended Brookfield Community School and Itchen College before going to Warwick University to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Roxanne worked at an investment bank for three years after graduating from University.

Roxanne performed her first gig in March 2009 and was soon spotted by award-winning manager Anne Barrett, credited with masterminding the launch of Natalie Imbruglia. Roxanne was signed by De Angelis Records in January 2010, however the label ceased operations in January 2011. Roxanne now releases through LATE Records, her own imprint.

On the 6th June 2011, Roxanne Emery released her debut EP titled "An Introduction to Roxanne Emery" on LATE Records. It charted at number 54 on the iTunes pop chart. Roxanne's next release will be her debut artist album, expected for release in 2012.

On the 6th September 2011, an acoustic recording of her original song "LATE" was uploaded to youtube. Within hours the video went viral, and became the #1 – Top Favorited and Rated video in the UK, and #3 Top Favorited globally.

Dr. Maung Maung (Burmese: မောင်မောင် [màʊɴ màʊɴ]; 11 January 1925 – 2 July 1994) was the 7th President of the Union of Myanmar, and a well-known writer.

Maung Maung was the son of lawyer U Sint and his wife Daw Aye Tin. He graduated from BTN High School. He attended the fourth intake of the Defence Services Academy. In 1946, he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Rangoon University. In 1949, he received a Bachelor of Law (BL) degree. He was a lecturer in the English department in Rangoon University, editor of the Burma Khit Newspaper, and Assistant Secretary of Burma Railways. In 1950, he received a scholarship to study in the UK. He entered the Lawyers' Association opened in Lincoln Guest House, Hague. He attended the international Law education school there. He received his LLD from Utrecht University in Holland in June 1956. He temporarily relocated to the United States, as a visiting Lecturer in Political Science and Southeast Asian Studies at Yale University, with his family. During his stay in Yale, he earned a doctorate in juridicial science (JSD), on 11 June 1962.

Helena Christensen (born December 25, 1968) is a Danish fashion model, (former) Victoria's Secret Angel, beauty queen, and photographer. She has also served as creative director for Nylon magazine, designed clothing, and supported funding for breast cancer organizations and other charities.

Christensen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father is Danish, and her mother is Peruvian.

Christensen won the Miss Denmark crown in 1986 and represented Denmark in Miss Universe 1986. She left her home soon afterwards to pursue modeling in Paris.

Christensen appeared on many magazine covers (including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, W) and in fashion campaigns (including Revlon, Chanel, Versace, Lanvin, Prada, Sonia Rykiel, Hermes, Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld) during the 1990s. One noted campaign featured her in a 20 by 40 feet (6 by 12 m) billboard in Times Square, bare, "except for a strategically placed banana leaf." She was in the Victoria's Secret catalog and in their television commercials as one of the signature Angels, along with Tyra Banks, Karen Mulder, Daniela Pestova, and Stephanie Seymour.
